I have been to this shop three times in the last year to pick up small orders and the service has been great, friendly staff and helpful. I usually ordered a day or two in advance and If the steel wasnt in stock they were able to get it the following day.

Bad attitude from receiving clerk. Also, only truck here to deliver and been here 2hrs waiting outside still. They had 2 of their own trucks go ahead of me to get loaded. Will NOT come here again... I should have known.. All Alro Steel locations are the same.

By appointment only. They dont talk to much,bad attitude.In and out in 1h20 min dough.

Company doesnt care about drivers. They think they own the entire block and block it all up good luck. Oh and they will just hang up on you instead of trying to help you out. Great way to represent your company.

I’ll never deliver another load here. Receiving clerk is rude and disrespectful. Arrived 843 for 9am appt and was told rudely to go wait in my truck “til we get to you.” Receiving clerk didn’t have time to look at me other than to shake his head when I said I was here to make a delivery. At 10am I was still waiting to get unloaded. Finally at 1030 they pulled me in. No one ever said a word to me. Just left my paperwork in the office under a stapler. It’s hard enough out here without long wait times, rude people (who get to go home) and low rates. Never again.

Today around 2:50 pm your truck blew by me going at 70 in the construction zone on HWY 41 by the polish connection, which is clearly marked 55 MPH. I know he/she was going that because the truck remained the same distance behind me when I was going 70 prior to the construction. I got on the highway in Appleton at HWY 15. I slowed down - but your driver didnt. I know other people also go 70 or more through the construction zone, but I thought a trucker would be more considerate of the workers.

Ive ordered material from Alro several different times for personal/home projects. Their prices are competitive, and theyve always delivered. I also appreciate being able to shop thru their drops bin to pick up cheap material.

Just had a guy there quote me one (1 ) pc of 3x3x1/4 angle- 39 long... $114.38....!!!!!!I asked if he was kidding me? No they werent..$114.38 !!Thats like a $3 pc of steel, and cost them like 85 cents.. they would pull it out of a drop barrell and have it cut in 30 seconds...Speedy Metals would gouge u at $15, but at least they control themselves. I asked him why they rip people off like that, and he couldnt even answer. Just mumbled..told them they should be embarrassed how they try to rip people off who dont know what it costs. Been doing steel fab for 30 yrs, never seen anyone give a price like that..Making a profit and intentionally ripping people off are 2 different things. Alro steel is a disgrace..

As a driver, Alro is the ABSOLUTE WORST place to deliver to. Whether its Milwaukee, Oshkosh! Your staff is unkind, rude, and absolutely unhelpful across the board!! Good luck finding drivers to haul for you once ELogs are in play!
