We bought a vehicle recently with high mileage and had problems right away, but for once we decided to invest in an old vehicle because we like it. Lake Aire was recommended by a few folks we knew who had older vehicles that they liked to keep running.The service was done faster than expected and the price was great. The owner (I believe his name is Jack?) and staffers seemed very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of insight into my repairs and what I might look into in the future (and are able to refer me to body shops they trust for repairs they cant do). I had a whirring sound coming from the engine when I picked it up and we identified and fixed the issue in five minutes and I havent had any trouble since then. I will be coming back for more of the work they found needed to be done soon because I felt a certain level of trust in this shop compared to many other places.They do good work and seem like good guys. Would recommend. 👍

Always a great experience. My dad has been taking his cars here since I was a kid. After trying to find a place closer to where I live, Ive found that there isnt anyone I trust as much to do the work right and not overcharge.

Super accommodating, fair prices, nice owner. My car broke down and he handled getting it towed from a different place because they wouldnt get to it for another month. Lake-aire got it done before the scheduled appointment.

Was told they would be able to diagnose my vehicle and tell me whats wring with it. Was charged for an hour of diagnostics and know no more now then I did before and my vehicle is running even worse now. Never going back

I’ve been fortunate not to have needed any major repairs over the past couple of years, but I’ve used Lake-Aire for some routine maintenance items that I can’t take care of myself at home. My experience has been great each time, and Jack is a pleasure to chat with. I’ll definitely be back.

Took the car in for an alignment. The alignment couldn’t be done because of a bad lower ball joint. Fair enough. Only the shop decided instead to balance the 4 tires and then bill 80 dollars. No phone call, just extremely over priced tire balancing.

Great first time experience. When I expected my battery was nearing its end, a Google search for Interstate Batteries turned up Lake Aire as the closest dealer to my house. I called at their 7:00 am opening hour, they had me come in after lunch and in no time I had the battery tested, installed, and was on my way. Impressed me as responsive, honest, and reliable. I would definitely consider them for work again.

Told me they charged 750 all 4wheels of brake lines. Mine were 1/2 done by another shop. They charged me 730 for 2 wheels. I called the night before I picked up my truck and I was told it was going to be 640. When I paid it was 90 dollars more

They are very straight forward with the problems, and they fix them at a reasonable price. The staff is also very friendly

I was towed here because my car broke down. He treated me with kindness and respect. I checked in with my normal mechanic to make sure I wasn’t getting hosed and Lake Aires knowledge of my car ended up saving me a lot of money. Great guy!

Fantastic service, everyone was very friendly and they were able to identify my problem over the phone, where other shops simply said they didnt know what it could be. Prices were right on par, and they got my car in and out quickly. Needless to say, this is where I plan to always bring my car

I was referred to this place by my old mechanic who retired recently. I really respected him as a mechanic so despite it being a ways away from me I decided the drive would be worth it if he suggested them.My car had blown a cylinder while I was on my way to work so I phoned a ride and in my rush to get to work on time I accidentally left some of my lunch in the back seat. I asked my dad to drive the car to Lake-Aire through two cities since it couldnt go over 35 mph and couldnt go on the highway. This was over the weekend so only today I come to find out they refused me service saying They wouldnt put any of their employees in our garbage can. I was incredibly saddened by this response. It was rude and uncalled for. They never gave me a chance to explain before they verbally attacked me. I had such high hopes for Lake-Aire. :(

The owner is a straight talking mechanic. No pressure, no problems with the work performed. Price was affordable.
