We have come to Oshkosh to vacation a few times and this comic store always has something fun to pick up.

This place is HUGE!!! They have an amazing selection of back issues and new comic books. They have a ton of Funko Pops, including exclusives from different places. There are also toys and lots of other comic collector stuff. The staff was very friendly and didn’t mind at all when I asked to look at some back issues up on the wall and took a long time debating if I was going to buy them or not. House of Heroes is a great store!! If I didn’t live 2+ hours away outside Chicago, I would come to this store on a regular basis.

So many great comics, games and toys. Their kids section is fantastic and has really helped our daughters love of reading by finding graphic novels she wants to read. They go above and beyond for Free comic book day, trick or treat and their after Christmas sale cant be beat. Great staff, great selections. The owner Scott does so much for the community, it really makes the name House of Heroes truly appropriate. Best comic shop in the whole Fox Valley and probably the state.

This place is amazing. I literally could get lost in here for hours with all the amazing comics and comic related products. Not only that but movie figures and collectibles and do much more. Im definitely coming back to get more comics.

My son and I were browsing through this store today. He’s a big gamer and into a lot of the anime series games that are popular now. Not only did they have comics to go with the series; they also had various items that would make any fan happy. The store personnel was amazingly pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. They also willingly went out of their way to help this clueless mom out with gifts. Thank you so much for making this shopping trip a little less stressful!

When both of your kids tell you, Dad, were coming back here soon, right?, you know youve come to some place special. An incredible variety of products, a clean environment, wonderful customer service, and very reasonable prices, we will certainly be visitng House of Heroes again in the very near future!!!

Very disappointed in this place. I came in here one day with my children and a younger gentleman was working and he was very helpful courteous and knowledgeable. We made a purchase and left happily. Unfortunately that is not where it ends. Since the great experience we had the first time we decided to go back a few days later. There was an older gentleman working that day not the younger one that was the 1st day. First off we were never greeted or even acknowledged when we came in. We went to the showcase and asked to look a few items. We were greeted with and eye roll and a sigh and said before even looking that they didnt have any in stock and continued looking at papers. We asked about a few more things and were given the same response and very rudely without even so much as walking over to where we were looking. I them asked if he though they would be getting them back in stock anytime soon and his answer was that it was too hard to keep inventory straight so they were not planning on ordering anymore anytime soon. My kids and I go out all the time and live to spend money locally instead of at big box retail hut unfortunately the owner here is extremely rude and and lacks even the care or want to make things enjoyable for the customer or try to meet their needs in the slightest. I will never again go back and hope this review helps out others who are looking at one of these type of shops. Luckily there are a few other options right on main St and we will be going there instead.

This is a great store in downtown Oshkosh. They have everything you could think of to fill your little nerdy/geeky heart. They are mainly a comic book shop but they also have lots of collectibles, books, graphic novels, t-shirts, some costumes, and other geeky knickknacks. It is a fairly large shop for being in downtown Oshkosh. The prices are what you would expect at a local comic book shop. They also currently have an amazing collection of Pops for sale but that wont be up for long. The staff is also very knowledgeable and friendly. They take part in Free Comic Book day every May. If you are looking for a place to get comic books and collectibles you should make it House of Heroes.

Drove an hour and a half from the Milwaukee area to this store because they were the only place that had a copy of a recent issue I was looking for. This store is AWESOME!!! Clean, well organized, and a great selection..Best part was the very large Kids area and selection of All Ages titles they have. I wish all the stores where I live in the Milwaukee area could be this great. Will stop in every time I am in the Oshkosh area.

Im a teenager that has worked up a lot of money over the summer and saw some things I wanted. The people working there gave a me a great deal on the stuff and we will be back to this store every time we visit Wisconsin. They helped me out and were super friendly. Thank you for the great service.

They had a very large selection of comics and me and my fiancée found just about every comic we had been looking for. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. Overall, it was a very great shop.

An absolutely wonderful comic book shop. This particular store is really great for third party books in particular and alternate covers for individual issues as well as figures. Theres a big selection of pop heroes as well if youre into collecting them, I always like to come here to look for books I cant find in other stores as well as indie trade paperbacks.

This place is awesome they have everything I like except for video games but Mojos which is next door has me covered. Awesome place.

This place has a very good selection of comics and collection of figures from a vary of places. Staff was very willing to help you locate what you where looking for.

I go more for the geekery/collectibles and they have a bunch of offerings. Well worth the visit, well worth the prices. Support local too!

An absolutely wonderful comic book shop! The staff is always warm, friendly, and helpful. They keep a great selection of indie, hard to find, and mainstay comics that cater to almost every taste. Im always happy to find diverse graphic novels and comics, and have been able to order in comics that were perhaps out of stock. This is the best comic shop! They have more than just DC and Marvel, too. Scott and staff are very friendly and super knowledgeable about everything. I always ask for suggestions on new series to read and they havent failed me yet! Love this place!

Great selection, really friendly/knowledgeable/great staff. I gave the most vaguest discription of a comic I was looking for that I couldnt remember the name to. They knew exactly what I was talking about and although they didnt have it on hand (and since it was out of print) suggested some other comics that where similar. Bought the suggested comics and loved them! Would recommend, will definitely go back.

I dont even bother visiting other comic shops anymore, because HOH has it all. New and used book selection is untouchable. Amazing inventory of new and used toys and accessories as well. Owner is an active member of the downtown community as well.

This place is my favorite store EVER. Ive never been to a store better than this one. I dont just buy my comics and action figures, but also shirts that I wear as soon as their out of the wash. They have games, posters, of course comics, t-shirts, cardboard cutouts, plushs, mugs, and even wallets! If I was forced to come to only 1 store for the rest of my life, it would be this one. theres even free comic book day once a year! free comics, pins, and much more! I have to come here at least once a week, even when there isnt a new issue of the comic book I read, but there is SO MUCH to buy and look at! I would give it a 10 out of 10. no comic store is better than here in my opinion.

Scott and staff are super knowledgeable and helpful, the store is always well stocked and clean. The prices are normal. Its a great place to pick up thing other than comics as well, like plushies or posters.

Scotts the man. Knowledgeable about almost literally everything in the store and an outright nice guy. They do a ton for the community and take genuine pride in main street and local vendors. Have a great day after hristmas sale and free comic day event. Come down and check it out.

This is the place to go if you need comics in the Fox Valley. The manager is always very friendly and knowledgeable about most titles. Their selection is second to none and they have a whole section of the store for $1 comics.

The first time I went there, I was stunned by the layout of the wide selection they offered there, especially their Funko Pop collection. A very nice wide variety of merchandise and Im kicking myself for not visiting this place before. Not going to make that mistake again. I would strongly recommend stopping in for anyone who are nerds/geeks/collectors.

Super friendly people. My only complaint is that they dont seem to add new stuff to their dollar bins (which are what I live for) and the supplies are a bit higher than shops in other nearby cities.
