Large selection & variety. Prices are fair. Staff knowledge & communication needs improvement however. Would be nice to hold to you size too. Not pick from a card. Only cuz child can be small/large for age.

A very exciting place to work at Halloween time! Employees were very excited to help me put together something green, being that I am a kid at heart. They find cool stuff for customers of all ages and families with kids who are also excited to find that favorite costume. There are also many seasonal home decorations for autumn and Thanksgiving. I would definitely shop there again

The store has pretty much everything you can imagine for a party. I enjoy shopping here. Many items are a little expensive but you can find good clearance items. The staff is not always helpful either. And it seems like it takes forever to get checked out.

This store is amazing!! Maybe TOO awesome,haha,since they carry just about every thing you could imagine for any event.The staff was very accommodating,friendly&sincere. I gave them 4stars only because the prices tend to be on the high side&its easy to overspend

They will have something decent you can work with if you have a costume need in the non-halloween season... Its ALWAYS Halloween season for me, so I appreciate that. Also, no matter WHAT youre doing... Theres a balloon for that!

I sometimes come here to practice juggling because of the high ceilings and there are rarely any customers. However, I was rudely escorted out by a woman dressed up in a Gumby costume today. I’ll be taking my juggling skills elsewhere from now on!

The customer service was horrible. I walked in to exchange a defective product that I had just bought a few days ago. It was a big yellow and black caution sign. Since I didnt want to be accused of theft, I walked to the register nearest the door. There were two cashiers standing there just visiting and twirling their microphone headpieces. After being ignored for a minute, one girl finally turned to me and said she couldnt help me and Id have to go stand in line behind the other people. So, I waited patientlyin the line. When I got up to the counter, I explained it was defective and I just needed to exchange it. She told me it wasnt a problem and to grab a new one.I grabbed one and returned to her register. She looked up and said we were all good. I asked her if I needed to sign something, or if she needed to ring up a return, and she said nope, I was good to go. I looked over at the other cashiers that were still just standing there talking and twirling their microphones and asked if that meant the two cashiers standing there could have helped me. She said they could have. I said that I asked them and they told me they couldnt.Girl #2 piped up that she was new and it was her first day. I get that, but there was no excuse for girl #1. Girl #1 argued that she wasnt signed in. I told her she didnt need to be. She argued further saying she didnt know I was doing an exchange. I told her she never asked. She just told me to get in line. She said she thought I was buying. I told her she should have seen me carry it through the door right to her, but she was too busy visiting. I told her that all she had to do when she saw me there was ask if she could help me and I would have told her I just needed to do an exchange. Every other store wants you to go to the first register to exchange. You dont usually stand in line unless theres only one cashier.By this time, girls #1, 2, and 3 were all trying to argue. I told them I wasnt there to argue. It was bad customer service, plain and simple. Girl #1 should have asked how she could help. Even if she got that wrong, all she had to do when I brought it to her attention was apologize.Seriously, is this the gal they want training a new person? Her customer service skills stink, so lets have her pass them on? No wonder Im not the first one to complain about bad customer service. She should have looked sheepishly at her trainee and said, Im sorry, maam, youre right. Its a good lesson for both of us I should have just asked how I could help you.What if I was just trying to ask where to find something? Was it too much to expect her to stop visiting and twirling her microphone thingy and ask how she could help me? Next time, Ill just go somewhere else, or maybe buy from Amazon. This is why brick and mortar stores are disappearing. You go to them for customer service that you dont get from online stores. When it stinks, you stop going.Since Im not the first one with this complaint, I hope the manager steps up and takes notice. Something about the culture there needs to change, or it will disappear like other stores with bad service.

I was in there a few weeks ago exchanging a Halloween costume. I approached the check out line and 3 employees were talking and had their backs towards me. Once they finally acknowledged me none of them said sorry or approached to help.Finally, one of them helped they assumed why I was there and told me I cant return the costume. Of which I was not, I was exchanging. They said they couldnt help me because of their policy even though it clearly states on the receipt they dont do returns but they do exchanges. They called the manager she didnt say sorry or anything the manager said let her exchange and then walked away. They had total attitude the entire visit. Upon checking out before leaving 2 were talking with each other, while one was on the phone. I approached the guy that wasnt busy and he said sorry and walked away and pointed me to the girl who was clearly busy on the phone.The costumer service was terrible. No enthusiasm, lack of help, not very approachable.That will be the last time I give my business to party city.

I love this party city! Today I went and got my daughters birthday balloons and the lady was very nice and even interacted with my two year old and I love when they can even be nice to her. :) thank you

Went shopping for my niece: There was basically one choice for super hero who arent part of a specific male-model. Im not asking for tiaras, im just saying Spider Gwen kicks some major butt!

Bought a bunch of color themed candy for a shower. Its a shame theyre going out of business

Party, holiday or event, you can get great ideas or find what you are looking for and the prices are compatible for the item you are buying. Rare items or hard to find naturally cost a bit more but everyday items are affordable.

🙄 $16.99 for a pack of fancy ballons and free helium fill... aww sorry we are out of helium. This has happened twice now, So i will be going elsewhere for my party supplies.

Great store. However I was never acknowledged once the whole 45min I was there. When I walked in the person at the counter just stared at me ... awkward and pretty rude.

Good prices, wide variety of just about everything you could need.

The bathroom is quite filthy. Not something I would usually write a review about, but it was dusty and dirty to the point of knowing it definitely hasnt been cleaned any time recently.

On line they say that they have items but when you go the do not have what you are looking dispointed, but will give them a 2nd chance the people were very nice...

Customer service is horrible! I was there to get my balloons girls my daughters birthday, the lady that got them for me was very rude to me in front of my daughter. Then the helium last ummm..6 hours and then fell to the ground. I had to go back to have them redone, same lady was there and demanded I pay from them again. Thank God there was somone else working that was kind to replace them so my daughters party wasnt ruined. If you cant be nice to people, please find a new job!!!

This week it was so busy but I did get a clerk to get what I needed and was very happy.

The only problem with Party City is that I didnt have a blank check. So many awesome things!!!

The employees are very helpful. Prices for some of the items are a little high. You can get just about everything you need for any kind of party.

Rep was very rude and unhelpful. Some of the worst customer service I have seen.

They didnt have the items I was looking for so I was already disappointed but brushed it off and found something else, no biggie. But then we go to check out and the girl working the register was just incompetent. She couldnt ring the items up properly, then couldnt set the date for balloon pick-up, then she called her manager up twice because she messed up something else. So they figure it out, everythings fine and tell us to have a great day and happy holidays without ever giving us the items we purched. We had to ASK for our bag. Im looking elsewhere for the items I originally wanted and will be returning these. Two thumbs way down.

We picked up a bunch of baseball themed balloons shortly before closing tonight for my son’s birthday tomorrow. They sat in a vehicle for about an hour while we got my son to bed. Upon retrieving them from the vehicle, we immediately noticed that one had sprung a leak and was already quite flat.I reached out to a local FB mom group inquiring about if anyone has had a similar experience and what the outcome was. Within minutes the store manager Melissa saw my post and contacted me.She immediately apologized for the issue and offered to replace the balloons first thing in the morning. Thank you Melissa for reaching out to a customer while off the clock and thank you for making it right!I’ve always had positive experiences with their customer service and balloons and will chalk this one up to just being a defective balloon. It happens, they were friendly, and fixed it!

Who doesnt love Party City? Its a store with a specific selection, you can always go in there and find what you need because they have so much to choose from and are always keeping up with the trends.

Love this place but a little pricey, after you add everything up. Some things are overly priced. Watch for specials.

My family & I usually love shopping here, but after today we will never be returning. I was with my 9 year old son looking for a Stay Puft Marshmallow costume. My son was wearing his Stay Puft baseball cap that we bought a couple months ago. A friendly female employee asked if we needed help & my son asked about the costume. She showed us what they had & she was very nice. Unfortunately, it was inflatable & covers the face and my son has sensory issues, so he didnt want it. Instead, we found an awesome winter Stay Puft hat.We went up to the cashier and he started ringing up the 2 items we were buying. He then proceeded to reach across the counter & snatch my sons hat off of his head! He accused my son of trying to steal the hat! My son is autistic and does NOT like being touched or having his hat touched...let alone snatched from his head. It was OBVIOUS that the hat was older, as it is stained and worn out. The cashier asks, as he is holding the hat that he snatched off my sons head, turning it around looking for a tag, Is this ours?! I said, It IS...but we bought it a long time ago! He continues to question my autistic son and then says, Did he come into the store with it on his head? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!I complained to the manager that was working down another aisle, but Im not sure it will be properly dealt with.

Everything for 30 and over birthdays was black and gold silver.

Costume selection is a little small, lots of repetitious costumes from kids to adults, but still less expensive than halloween express. same with decor and what not. not as big of a selection at halloween express, but still a little cheaper. you can save big if you are buying a lot of things here, compared to halloween express..
