I gave them 4 chances to fix my car. I took it in for a wheel bearing. The sound was worse when I left. Then I was told it was fixed and was not making noise. I may not know cars but i can certainly hear. The manager said he would personally look at it. Took it back and claimed he fixed it.He made excuses and never took responsibility. He even blamed it on a faulty part from china. One of the mechanics there told me not to come back and to have someone else work on my car. He was actually looking out for me and didnt agree with how I was treated. When I called the ownerr he yelled over me. He would not let me get a word in. The. He hung up on me. I had a dealership fix what they messed up. I tried asking for a refund after spending over a grand for them to ruin jy car and the dealership who fixed my car confirmed l&j messed it up. Again very unprofessional. I have messages from the manager saying inappropriate things to me. When I messaged him he blocked me.

I’ve been a loyal customer to this business since 2013. Giving 5 stars solely because of the Manager of this business, Jody. He is one of the most down-to-earth and considerate individuals I’ve came across in my life. There has been numerous times I’ve been in a bind or needed some work done in a timely manner. He always pulls through and takes care of you. If it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t come here.I went to MIDAS recently to get my exhaust system checked (it’s free and close to my house, planned to go to I&J/Splash for the repair regardless) because my Hyundai needs the flex pipe welded from time to time and MIDAS told me that my entire exhaust system needed to be replaced because the pipe to my gasket under my manifold was cracked and my flex pipe was shot. They quoted me a minimum of $1,800 even though my manifold was under warranty and I told them that. So I played along and told MIDAS I couldn’t afford that and they said I should consider a new vehicle and junking that one. I called Jody to verify my manifold was under warranty and told him what was going on. He said come on over and we’ll get it done today before we close. So, I got over there around 11am and he told me what I NEEDED to be fixed which WASN’T replacing my entire exhaust system. Jody is honest. He’ll tell you what you need to fix, not what they want to fix to take your money. You’re the man, Jody.

This review specifically pertains to the car wash/detailing portion of the business. If I could give this zero stars, I would. Long story short: avoid this business at all costs. I paid them nearly $200 for my car to look WORSE than it did before and for all of my personal items to not be returned to me.When I took my car to get detailed, it was relatively clean to begin with so I was excited to get it looking like it was fresh off the lot. My mother purchased the most expensive package ($189) for me as a gift, so that was what I had done.When I went to pick my car up, it initially looked fine. I also felt a bit awkward inspecting it while the guy who detailed it was in the room, so I didnt look too closely. I told him it was fine, got in and started driving. Immediately, I noticed that there were issues. I couldnt even touch the steering wheel because it was so greasy from whatever cheap stuff he smeared all over my dash and steering wheel. He didnt even bother to clean/vaccuum the area between the front seats and console. There were still a few dog hairs in the back seats. The bird poop spot on my sunroof was still there, which tells me that he probably just drove it through the automatic wash because thats easier. The windshield and windows were cleaned by rags, not a squeegee, so they were incredibly streaky. My dad cleaned them for me when I got home. The biggest problem was that my car seats were completely soaked. Even after 16 hours of drying time, I needed a towel to sit down. Because of all the moisture, my windows and windshield were super foggy. Not to mention, there could be mold growing in my car now. Who knows?It gets better, though. The day after, I opened the trunk because I thought that any stuff that he had moved would be in there. Nah. So I called multiple times (during their listed business hours), but no one answered and there was no way to leave a voicemail. The website said they were open, so I drove over there because I though maybe they were just too busy working to answer the phone. I had to leave to drive back to college later that day, and needed my stuff (ice scraper, iPass, sunglasses, personal items). They werent open. Okay. I called the next day and asked for the owner. Apparently the owner of the detailing portion is basically never there, so we played phone tag for a week. I ended up just talking to Jody (I think), who is the owner of the mechanic portion. He was very nice, and I asked him if he would ship my items to school since it is a drive and I dont have time to come and get it. He agreed, so hopefully I get my stuff in the mail soon.If I sound mad, its because I am. This business is run so unprofessionally and I feel like I wouldve been better off just taking my $200 and setting it on fire.

Awesome experience from start to finish. Had to get some repairs made before a lease return on my vehicle and they pushed nothing on me yet provided extremely helpful suggestions based on what the car company usually looks for at return. The work was top notch. Like I almost want to keep the car because it looks newer and shinier than it did on day of delivery, top notch. I have been getting all of our vehicle repairs done here for over 10 years. I was given a high quote at another local shop. I stopped in at II&J Automotive and spoke to Jody who said he could fix my vehicle for much cheaper than the other quote I was given. After leaving the vehicle to get repaired I returned home. Shortly later the phone rang and it was Jody. Jody told me that the other business misdiagnosed my repair and that he could fix my vehicle for even cheaper than he had thought! I was shocked after reviewing the phone call and saving hundreds of dollars! Jody and Jackson are fixing my father in laws power steering today and once again saving us $$$. They have always done great work on our vehicles!!! We have always been very pleased and will continue to come back!

In the summer, I don’t mind washing my vehicle by hand. Or rather, leaving it conspicuously in the driveway until the thin coating of dirt drives my husband crazy enough to wash it. But either way, automatic car washes just don’t do it for me. I can’t stand the water spots, and there always seems to be a spot or three that was missed entirely... So I decided to swing by Splash one day when it was far too cold for me to consider washing the car, and the salt buildup was bad enough that the paint job could have been named “stucco.”And now I’m addicted. I get the most basic level cleaning, and I still drive away feeling a bit like a spoiled princess. I mean, they vacuum my Jeep, wash it really well, and dry it so nicely that there are zero streaks on my windows and no dripping water or streaks of dirty runoff anywhere, even inside my door frames, lift gate, and wheel wells. Which is great, because it’s a white vehicle, and I’m a bit OCD. LolSo, this is going to be my place, it seems. The car may get washed at home a couple times this summer, just for fun, but the second it becomes more of a hassle than an enjoyable summer activity (any time the temperature is below 80, or I can’t find the sprayer attachment for the hose, or the boys want to use the driveway to practice kick-flips, or it’s... Monday-Saturday, lol), I’ll be heading over to Splash.Just make sure to tip the guys. And please be aware that there is a separate tip receptacle (like a mailbox in the city?) for the guys that do the vacuuming where you drop off your vehicle. I guess maybe they don’t split their tips 50/50 with the guys that do the other stuff, maybe because of the different levels of work that go into the different car wash package options? That’s just my assumption though.

Splash car wash and repair has by far exceeded my expectations. They are not only affordable, but speedy to. I havent been to a more customer friendly car wash in several years. I was able to go in and out of their repair shop, courtesy of their expertise in the line of work. I would recommend this place 100 time over!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! My family has taken out cars there for years and stayed with them even when the new owner took over because he seemed friendly enough and it was a good price. Recently they did an oil change for my dad and didnt put the oil filter on correctly, his oil filter fell off of his engine and killed it. They refuse to take care of it and then claimed they didnt do it. They then proceeded to swear and yell at him when he requested they pay for repairs incurred from their negligence. The morale, TAKE YOUR CAR ANYWHERE ELSE, they might seem nice and friendly when youre giving them money, but the second they screw up dont expect it to get fixed, even if youve loyally been giving them business since they took over ownership.

So Ive been going here for oil changes and car washes for 15 years. Staff have always been great, washes always perfect. I still driver the 45 minutes to get my car washed here. Sure the interior is old but clean. Never had a dirty waiting room any complaints have been dealt with quickly. Love this place.

AWESOME. I have an AMG Mercedes and these guys provided excellent service. I was told what was to be replaced and was told WHY, (which a lot of places dont do), given an accurate quote, and the repairs were completed in a timely fashion. I dont really need to rush my repair as I have another vehicle, but it is nice that they were able to get it done the next day. Im pretty sure they could have had it done the same day if I needed it. In fact, they actually got me in the day before I technically had an appointment so they did get it done same day if you want to look at it like that! They are 5 stars all the way!

I just moved to town a week ago. My rear tail-lights went out!! The owner, Joe was incredibly kind and was genuinely concerned about me being safe. I had a lot of work to do, so Joe even gave me a ride home while Jody and Jackson fixed my car. These guys are AMAZING and FUN!!! They even have a MASSAGE CHAIR in the waiting room!!! A++++ business!!!

Came in for an oil change, the owner was helping me and was amazingly kind and helpful the whole time. He took me into the bay and showed me every step, introduced the technician, and even showed me how to fill my tires and what pressure they should be at. My oil change also came with a free wash and vacuum! Couldn’t recommend enough, will definitely be back!

Ill start by stating I dont write many reviews but felt I should after how spectacular Splash Carwash & Auto Repair has been for me and after my latest experience and for that matter for all my visits.I own a Porsche Cayenne Turbo that Ive been getting serviced at Splash for a couple years. Mainly just oil changes since I havent had any issues with the Cayenne. I am writing this review because I would expect Porsche to do a better job that anyone, but when it was all said and done... Splash Carwash & Auto Repair solved the problem. I will also point out, I know Splash test drove the car to ensure it worked properly because my seats were adjusted.If you live in the area and drive a luxury German vehicle, there really is no point of servicing at the dealership if you are out of warranty when you can just visit Splash Carwash & Auto Repair. The Splash team gets an A+ in my book.

Jody runs the oil change shop and does an unbelievable job!! He goes through everything meticulously and explains it all in detail. He always gives the extra effort to do a great job. Ive been going there for 7 years and he is solely the reason.

I saved a few hundred bucks the day I decided to switch to Splash for a control arm replacement. A Nissan dealership quoted me a ridiculous price, and a better job was done at Splash for 40% less with immediate work being done.

If you want an honest mechanic that’s conservative and respectful then this is the shop for you! My guy is Jody and I’ve only been twice but every trip I left not only with my car fixed but a piece of mind! My boys really enjoyed him as well! So if you have children bring them as well. I usually don’t write reviews but this was worth my time to write!!!!!

I went in for a routine oil change. They had fast friendly service service. The big guy who was there oil tech was super friendly and did a great job and informed me about why my car was starting so ruff. The manager Jody and mechanic Jackson did a throttle body cleaning on my car and now it starts and runs flawlessly. They even gave me a great price since they knew i was just laid off. Theres a small sign on Rt 30 for a $19.99 oil change with car wash which is exactly what got me into this place. Confusing to locate exactly where I need to go before someone (was told he was the owner) came out and directed me where to go. Not exactly $19.99 but $27.95 out the door with $5 oil disposal fee and tax. Apparently theres miscommunication between employees and owner as employees dont know/doesnt care about the promotional sign the owner has on the street and employees had quite some remarks about the owner (unprofessional). I went early in the morning so I was the only one going thru a lube so it went fast. I then proceeded for the free car wash which is across the lube bldg and was met with 2 shady people who works there advising me that it is a full-service wash so they will drive the car into the wash. Owner on the other hand explained to me the different car wash service and that the Latino guy who does the car wipe afterwards works for tips (felt sorry for him because I had no cash).$27.95 oil change with wash is a good deal.

My brakes were worsening quickly just before an important meeting I couldnt reschedule, but the pedal went down almost to the floor, so I came here to get a quick diagnosis. After some time, they found it would take two more hours to fix everything, but I needed my car right away. The loaner vehicle was loaned out, and I couldnt wait for a cab. To my surprise, the owner insisted I take his own personal vehicle to get there and back, at no charge! The mechanics here have always been honest and generous and this is just one of the many times theyve done extra for me and my family. These are seriously the good local guys you hope to find wherever you live.

I have gone to other places in Oswego but the pricing, quality, and customer service cant be beat here.

The only clean part of the car was the outside, even though the Full Service Wash that we purchased says it includes vacuuming, dash board and inside door wipe-downs. The dash, doors, floor, and seats were still plenty dirty. The guy at the counter was money-hungry and wanted to charge us an extra $5 for a more thorough vacuuming. Will not go back to this one.

Finally I found an auto mechanic who I can trust. Jody is a very well qualified technician who will not try to cheat or overcharge you. Also a few weeks ago my check engine light came on. I brought the vehicle over to Splash and Jody stopped what he was doing to run computer diagnostics for me right where I was parked out front. He told me it was the gas cap. I had tried tightening that down when the light first went on, but it did not turn the light off. Jody took one look at the cap and could see the gasket wasnt sealing properly. He told me to replace the cap with a dealer part and charged me nothing. I brought him a gift certificate for a pizza nearby, but this type of attitude is priceless.

I bring all my cars here. Great fast service at a reasonable price!

I bring all of our families cars here for service and oil change. This place has great customer service because of Jody. I would go out of my way to go here over other places because of him.

I went for a car wash. 3 cars ahead of me. After 30 minutes, my car had not even been vacuumed. I complained and they pushed my car through. When it got to the point of my car headed to get hand dried, I just grabbed my car and left. At this point it had been 50 minutes and I was late for an appointment. Never going back.

This place used to be great, I could go there anytime and get an oil change and older gentlemen that worked there would get me in as quick as possible. Now some kid is always answering the phone and never seems to have time for me, Ive been turned away twice, asked to leave my car over night for an oil change... An oil change?!?!? How long does an oil change take? Then He doesnt listen when I repeatedly tell him my work schedule he still tries to schedule me an appt. during my working hours. I dont know who this kid is but hes a complete idiot. The other gentleman was awesome with superb customer service skills!! I dont think I will be come back.

They did a very good job on the outside of the car needed to pay more detail to the inside of the car. Overall, I will be back but let them know to pay more attention to my inside of the car.

They are the most horrible people I ever met they blew the motor on the truck that we just spent $2000 getting repaired it ran for not even 24 hours then had it towed and scraped over a $50 storage fee because I couldnt afford to have it towed back to my house and this is the place that has worked on our familys cars for 15 years and jodie the shop manager is a joke he let a uncertified macanic blow the motor please stay as far away as you can from these jokers.
