This is definitely a unique experience and a good dance atmosphere. but the downside is the flexibility of the bartenders to make foreign drinks reasonably. Also no mixed drink menus is English. Make sure you brush up on your Russian speaking abilities if you come here.

Went to GYPSY in May and had a blast. Based on the reviews I pretended to be American (spent the majority of my life in Russia), and there were people that indeed tried to rip me off. I entered with no problem, but when ordered tequila - bartender brought a bottle. I asked how much it was, and the price was 16,000 RUB/bottle ($250). Started speaking Russian and the price immediately went down by 6,000 RUB ($100). Interesting experience. Would definitely do it again! Learn basic Russian before you go. And dress up - Russians dont like bums ;)

I decided to show my friends from the States something really interesting, memorable. It led us to Gipsy. I know that here is the largest open terrace in Moscow. It was what you need. The view of the night city really impressed them. The rest was comfortable, thank you for the waiters that we were served, everything at the European level. Special thanks to the bartenders for the incredible cocktails, delicious and high-quality alcohol in them. In addition, many different soft drinks. In general, everyone will find something to their liking.

We, a group of foreigners, had no trouble getting entry but we were told that the men in the group had to pay 3000 rubles each (women, myself included, did not have to pay). I genuinely think they were trying to rip us off because were not locals. From everything Ive read and what other people have said, entry is not usually such a high amount - we were told by another Russian that entry is usually free. I really dislike that they tried to exploit us and wouldnt recommend this club.

The Gipsy-bar has central location and tropical concept. I visited it one time during my business trip to Moscow, Russia. To breathe some fresh air, you can go to the terrace. The building is large has a lot of open space and large windows!

Went here to see Zedd. All I had to do was signing up and I got free entrance + free beer! (for special occasions only). Had the time of my life here. Friendly people and wonderful atmosphere. The tables were pretty cozy, too. Its almost impossible to use the bathroom here, however, there was always a long queue waiting outside it.

Face control is very racist and even if they let you in the club, everyone in there is very racist. The guard came to me out of nowhere and pointed at a broken teapot on the floor and asked me to pay for it. I said I didn’t break it. He noticed from my accent that I’m not Russian, so he asked me where I was from, to avoid racism I said that I’m from Russia, so he asked me to show him my passport, when I refused he told me to get out of the club, and on my way out he told me to “dress normally”.Not sure what dressing normally looks like or why my passport matters when it comes to a broken teapot that I didn’t even break. Gipsy might be one of the biggest clubs in Moscow, but people who work there are very sexist and racist.

We’ve decided to visit Gipsy club on Bolotnayanaberezhnaya in Moscow. The main peculiarity is the open terrace with a splendid view. The location is central, close to Moskva river. The interior solutions compose the predominance of greenery, which corresponds to their moto “Summer- all year round”. If you want to come on Saturday, book in advance, because it’s hardly possible to come without booking- they are open like for weekend only. Nice place for foreigners. Staff speaks English. I liked this place and recommend it for visit!

Music is stupid, even on friday. No drive at all. The place is dead!! It has such good location and good interior but music ruins it all. Our waiter was on drugs or on alcohol, always arguing or mixing our orders.

After interesting excursions in Moscow my stay here continued in a bar Gipsy. We had a company of 5 people and enjoying evening in this club. Huge collection of wines. I think this kind’a original project with its own direction and style. Location is an advantage: Yakimanka area, close to the Moskva-river. What is convenient for a tourist, is that the menu consists of European cuisine, Asian cuisine, American. This is just a DISGUSTING club. The attitude of the guards is terrible. We came with a company from other cities to the concert of our favorite performer. The bottom line? The staff protected the whole concert. Absolutely ruined everything and this is not the artists fault. A minor child was simply dragged out into the street in a foreign city without a phone in the middle of the event. The guards took personal belongings and refused to give them back. A Meat & Grit ticket was bought, for which they paid 5500, but the staff said that there was no such ticket 🤷‍♀️ and tried to drive everyone out into the street. In the end, we made our way to the artist, but even there we were not given rest. Meeting literally a minute boorish guards all the time, they said something trying to hurry us up. AWESOME ESTABLISHMENT. You should close for a long time. Thats all.
