Backyard Box Office KC brought a magical night to our community! Our outdoor movie night was the first in-person event we’ve been able to hold for our school since 2019. There were so many considerations we had to put into place and so many things to work through. Backyard Box Office KC was incredibly patient, accommodating and professional every step of the way. The movie screen and equipment lived up to their description! The screen was enormous and amazing! It was absolutely perfect and both the kids and parents alike had an incredible night. Mike and his entire team from Backyard Box Office goes above and beyond. I worked with Mike directly for several months on our school event. We originally had a date in May planned, but with rain in the forecast we decided to postpone to September. He could not have been more accommodating, flexible, and willing to make this work. The customer service from Mike is 5+ star. Timely with call backs, emails, follow ups, confirmations, etc etc. The quality of the picture, sound, equipment used, and overall movie experience was top notch. Mike and his team stay the entire time to ensure only the best is had by all. They made sure kids were safe and stayed away from generators and wires behind the screen. I also highly recommend adding on the popcorn machine! Such a nice perk for a small additional price that really goes a long way. I can’t say enough good things about Backyard Box Office, and can’t wait to use them for this event as well as others in the future. Thank you!!!!!

Backyard Box Office KC was a wonderful addition to my daughters birthday party. Mike and his family were very friendly, punctual, professional, quick to respond to questions (communication was top-notch), thorough, fast-acting when our homes power supply had issues, and they really seem to enjoy their small business. Mike scouted our location the day before the party and made some great suggestions about placement of the screen and sound system. We were confident that he would make set-up a breeze, and he did! Screen quality and sound were perfect. Popcorn machine and gourmet toppings added a perfect touch. This is a really nice family offering a fun service to the community - I would encourage anyone to give them a try!

Hands down best birthday party we have ever done! So easy and reasonable. I didn’t have to do a thing. Setup, running the movie, cleanup, and even a popcorn machine was included. I didn’t even have to pop/serve the popcorn! Backyard Box Office did everything! We picked the movie and that was it. Can’t wait to do it again!

Mike and Mike were fabulous to work with and made my daughters birthday party a success ( even after we had to move indoors due to bad weather ). We would highly recommend them for a variety of events.

Backyard Box Office KC was the perfect choice for my event! I worked with them to host an outdoor showing of a film I created over the past year, and they did not disappoint. From the very first phone call, they were professional and very easy to talk to. I gave them very late notice because I had to adapt from my original plan, and they went out of their way to accommodate my needs. They set everything up for the event and stayed the whole time making sure everything went smoothly. The top-notch equipment they use is well worth the rental price, resulting in high-quality visuals and sound. Overall, I was more than satisfied with my decision to rent from Backyard Box Office KC.

Calvary Lutheran Church and School had an outdoor movie night for our church and school families and the community. It was perfect. Mike was very thorough in everything he did from scheduling, setting up and taking everything down. The screen was perfect, and the audio and video quality were excellent. Everyone loved the event and we will definitely do it again with Backyard Box Office KC.

What a great time we had last weekend thanks to Backyard Box Office KC! We were able to have about 50 people over for a socially distant driveway movie event and everyone enjoyed the time well spent!The experience started with the booking call between Michael and I and it couldnt have gone better. In fact, after our call, I stopped looking at other options because of the knowledge and service level that Michael exhibited. The best part was, everything happened just as he explained it would. The team showed up right on time and set up for the event in a quick and professional manner, even with little kids running all of the place! Once the set up was complete and the sun set, that is when the real fun started! The picture quality and sound quality was above expectations and it couldnt have been a more pleasant experience. We were even surprised by Michael staying on site during the whole movie to make sure any hiccups were addressed. But of course, the only hiccup was a chilly wind that blew through! We will definitely be using Backyard Box Office again and I know a few people that were at the event will be as well! Thanks again!

What a fun experience for our family to come together and share a unique experience! We had Mike and his two sons set up a great evening for our family earlier this week. They came before sunset and had everything running for a great experience by sunset. The dvd we had didn’t work, and Mike jumped in with backup options via our Roku to keep everything running smoothly. I couldn’t recommend Backyard Box Office KC more. We will personally use them again, too! (For those concerned with COVID, his family wore masks the whole time they were with us.)

I attended a backyard box office movie this week and it was fantastic!!! What a cool experience. I highly recommend!!!
