I was informed about KC rends from a friend that has been doing business with them for over a decade. Angie provided some excellent suggestions for options and a few added tweaks to customize it. All in all, the ability to locate special items and coming off the COVID lockdowns was a compliment to their logistics capabilities and the understanding of the current market conditions. I would highly recommend that you give them a chance and they will likely earn your business.

By far the best experience at any store Ive had in a long time.The people in this store are wonderful from the guys up front to the guys out back. After hours and multiple trips to the dealership and trips to another tire store these guys were able to fix my problem. I was able to go out back and watch them road force balance my tires. They let me see the whole process involved. You wouldnt believe the machine they have. Its a 20 minute drive for me but I will never buys my tires anywhere else.

Jack did an amazing job helping me figure out the right tire and wheel combination for my F250. Awesome selection and tons of knowledge. Every time I was in the store, I felt like I was the most important thing going on. Classy, competitively priced, and great service. I will definitely recommend to anyone looking for automotive customization.

Will NEVER use their services or purchase anything from them again.UPDATE:Apparently someone at your shop is confused. I paid $150 to reseal the beads on 4 tires, yet even after bringing it to you twice, one of my tires is still flat.... I even showed them where the leak (around the beads) is occurring. (Your techs response... um, yeah, we aired it up).Never again.

Chad & team @ KC Trends know their stuff. If you want wheels/tires with proper fitment, this is the place to go. Youll pay a pretty penny, but they hook it up. Heres my GTI that they put some TSW Chrono wheels and Toyo tires on for me. Ill be back here for my next car!

My husband and I have spent a lot of money with KC trends. They have been good.. but for someone that’s had three cars done not just rims... I’m talking tint and stereo systems put in... on all three vehicles . That’s a lot of money. One of my Rims I bought with them cracked. On the back side. The guy immediately blamed pot holes prior to seeing it.. the lady who works here.. which I believe to be the owners wife.. said they wouldn’t know until the tire comes off.. which seems more correct. I asked the gentleman to hold on my Rims while i waited for the other to come in and he said no immediately since they don’t have “room”. To me that’s a joke. Then the lady said well you can hold her one rim and get it switched out with the tire put on so she doesn’t have to wait when she gets here.. which is what he should have offered.. she didn’t make me pay for the rim prior to it coming in.. which I would have told her I wanted to wait anyways. If it’s warranty.. so right now.. I’m waiting for the rims to be put on.. they used to have a table for customers to sit at.. which now they don’t? Standing while I wait for service seems a little ridiculous. I gave them 3 stars.. since they aren’t completely terrible but somethings needs to be fixed when it comes to customer service.

Rude. Plain and simple. Based on all their 1 star reviews, I see Im not alone. The woman at the front desk was put out that I even walked in, (I was there for a quote),then she rudely delivered the news that they refuse to service my vehicle (need front spacers added, 4Runner). Chad said I was too much trouble last time (there were misunderstandings, most of which were not my fault. ) They also clearly have no clue that 1 spacers can be added in front, to level with rear spacers. I need to find a competent company for leveling my truck, and tinting. If you dont want to do the job, thats your option, but at least be polite about it and maybe get polite employees.EDIT: Just talked to kc CUSTOMS, (they were so friendly!!😃), explained my situation with my shocks and spacers in attempt to level my truck and theyre certain they have a solution. They are 100% familiar with Bilstein shocks that I have and what will actually work. KC trends is NOT a truck specialist! No wonder they were annoyed with what I wanted and me in general . I wasnt demanding...I just wanted a simple, common job done right and didnt understand why it was so complicated for them to LEVEL my truck and know whats needed to do so. What I need should have been obvious, I was told. My bad for choosing them in the first place. They dont like parts they dont sell. For 2 years, people have been saying it doesnt look right not being level and its ridiculous that kc trends couldnt figure it out. Initially I was ok with it because they said thats as good as it gets. Not true! Now Im back to trying to get it right.Edit: first time, when chad said he wanted to cancel the job, due to my high demands (we worked it out ...I literally thought chux trux was the only other choice, and they were priced higher) turns out they are unknowledgable about my situation (wish they had just admitted that in the first place). I said Id reflect this in a google review, and he became irate and said hed come after me. Yep! 100% Honest review. You shouldnt treat people this way.

Great place to have your vehicles worked on. We always take our cars there. They always have excellent customer service and the work is top notch! And they are very helpful anytime we have a charity event. Highly recommend!

This shop gives amazing service and some of the best prices in the city. Whether youre driving a Ford or a Ferrari, Chad and the crew are always helpful and full of knowledge about anything car related. Ive had four cars worked on by them, and Ive been happy with all of the work Ive had done, which ranges from wheels and tires to audio to suspension to window tint. Also Fast Fridays is one of the coolest events in the city, hands down.

They were SO patient and helpful. I came in on a Monday at noon because I knew I would need some time and a lot of help. They delivered. We return in a week to get rims and other work done. Hopefully everything goes smoothly.

We had a complication on a suspension component install which happens. Several hours of mechanical labor and some machining was required to resolve the issue and Chad stepped up. This is uncommon to see a shop fully stand behind their work and it says GREAT things about the integrity of the owner and his business! Mistakes happen, its how the shop responds that separates the shady from the excellent. KC Trends is worth trusting!

Angie took excellent care of me today. I called her and told her what I was looking for. She text me the picture and quote over the phone and had me taken care of with my new wheels and tires in less than 3 hours! Thanks for the excellent customer service!

As I walked in to drop off my car, the national anthem was playing, and all the employees were respectfully observing it. I thought it was really cool that they played the anthem before working on the next car! After the anthem stopped, I took my hand off my heart and asked for assistance. One of the workers seemed really distressed and frantically told me that a trouble youth prankster put the anthem on repeat 18 hours earlier. Thats when I noticed almost a dozen other perspective clients, ensnared by the sweet sirens song.It took me three more plays before I had inched my way to the sound equipment. There was a sign that read, Turn this off if you hate America. They thought of everything.Three Stars for being great American Patriots, but they never got around to seeing my car. I took off one more Star because the owner is a Broncos Fan.Pros: fake acts of patriotism.Cons: value appearances over hard work and doing their job

Just tried to purchase some Fuel Warrior wheels from KC Trends. Even though they are 25 dollars a wheel higher than KC Customs, I asked them to waive the $40 shipping and they would not. Lost a returning customer apparently loyalty means nothing when you are talking about $40 to KC Trends.

Had lights done on my 2008 Jeep Rubicon. The lights came in and they installed them and one side did not work. Came in the next week and they fixed it. They also did a good job with the wiring to the light bar, fog lights, and rear bumper lights. Good service nice guys, 10/10 would recommend.

I would HIGHLY recommend KC Trends for any of your wheel/tire needs. They delivered a great product to start with.. actually found out a part was not working properly and they handled everything with extreme profesionalism the entire time, and at the end of the day didn’t charge me a dime extra for replacing the part that wasn’t even their error. Again, highly recommend KC Trends, and I will be a life long customer to them for any of my future needs!!!

I had a slow leak in a tire, so I took it to KC trends to have it patched. I have aftermarket wheels, and wanted to go to a place that would take better care of my car. They told me the tire couldnt be fixed, and Id have to buy a new tire for $178, plus mounting and balance for a total of $205. I asked them if they would price match the same tire I found online for $157 shipped. They said no, to just buy it online. I asked how much it would be to mount the tire, and was told $25.So I order the tire, take it back and was charged $43.40 total. When I asked about the cost, they said its $35 if you bring in your own tire. That was news to me. And another $5 in shop supplies. (valve stem and wheel weights maybe?) And they left the old tire in the trunk! Every other place Ive gone to disposes of the old tires, thats part of the price. What am I going to do with a tire I cant get patched? Yard art I guess. Anyways, even though were not talking about a lot of money, the whole ordeal left a bad taste in my mouth, and makes me not want to do any future business there.

It started with tires…I ordered my tires online and had them delivered to KC Trends since they were the only ones around who have road force balance -- having a performance oriented car I consider it a must. The team at KC Trends beat the online tire install price. Then they beat the online price for a set of custom wheels so yeah, I got them too.Bottom line: These is the tire shop you’re looking for.

I had them install tires and mount some used wheels that I bought for my corvette. They were able to get me in on a Friday afternoon so I could spend the weekend cruising. All of the people I dealt with were very friendly and professional, and they got me in and out in record time for a tire shop. Excellent experience and great prices!

Dropped of my 4 rims and tires to have everything mounted up and balanced while I was at work. Dropped them off at 11:45 and stopped by to pick them up at 5:30pm. The use a Hunter Road Force balance machine and had written out all of the road force numbers for me on the completed wheels so I knew which wheels to mount in which location according to road force number.As an Autocross racer (which i was planning on using these wheels on) i was very happy with the care taken to get them balanced accurately and the price was right in line with what i have payed at other locations around the Metro to get mount and balance done. I will continue to bring my wheels here for service in the future.

I was referred to KC Trends by Justin at Tanners Customs and Collision. Had a bad experience with the dealership scratching the wheels on my Jeep SRT, after a new powder coat! KC Trends had them road force balanced in less than hour, absolutely no damage (and I checked closely), for less the the dealership charged. Highly recommended!

When I look for a business to spend my hard earned money with, I look for honesty, integrity, quality of products and service, and value. Admittedly, that can be a challenge, and I usually take longer to chose who to do business with, than the average person. That being said, “Wow”. Did I chose wisely this time. I took my Viper in to have some spacers installed and new tires. What I thought was a need for new tires. The service tech took my car in and looked it over. Came back out. And gave me an honest opinion that putting spacers in wouldn’t be a good idea based on my vehicle. Ok I thought. No biggie. Here’s where they build up trust, then clobber me with a $500 per tire quote. Couldn’t have been more wrong. Told me my tires were fine. No need to replace them. Wait? Hold on! What? Let me get this straight? I come in and tell you I need new tires. So You have a fish on the hook, and you let it go? Wow! Could not be more pleased with the quality of service, professionalism, honesty, and integrity that I received yesterday at KC Trends Motorsports. This is how business should be done. Earned my respect and my business for life. Hats off.

I bought a 2015 GMC Denali with a lift kit and new tires and wheels, I stopped by to see if they could check the alignment and make adjustments if necessary. I was told that they only work on customers cars/trucks that have purchased something from them. This was my first time to visit KC Trends and the last. I had heard that they have a good variety of products for lifted truck and off road accessories. Horrible customer service. LOSERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Walked into KC trends today just needing some rim cleaner and I wasnt there for more then 10 seconds when Chad the owner walks up to ask if i had been helped? I told him I just needed rim cleaner expecting to be pointed to the right direction but no he walked me over and even gave me example of the product on his own car. I am completely impressed that even though Chad has made a great name for himself and could probably do whatever he wanted all day, he is in the shop helping out people buying 20 dollar rim cleaner. No wonder his business has made it to where it is.

Chad and his crew will always steer you in the right direction. They have done over a dozen vehicles for me and everyone of them has been amazing. You pay for quality, service and peice of mind it is done correctly!

Asked for help, a guy said sure let me go grab something. Waited patiently and looked around, came back to see what was up and the guy just looked at me and walked off, no help. When I finally got help another guy was informative but didnt have what I needed in stock. In my opinion the products seemed very high in price as well. First and last time I go there.

Ive never been happier with customer service in my whole life..my experience from the moment I walked in the door was exceptional..I was treated with respect..never pressured, and I left with an amazing set of wheels at an incredible price. I will absolutly go back again and highly recommend anyone reading this to check them out. We drove nearly 50 miles through insane game day traffic and Id do it all over again. Ross assisted me in purchasing tires & wheels for my Land Rover LR4. Although the price was significantly higher than 4Wheel Parts ($650.00 more) the turn around time was much faster. Unfortunately When I called to inquire about my purchase it was not explained to me that the size I chose would rub. After the install I was told I could pick up my vehicle and told it rubs Bad but they can not fix that issue for at least a week. I can barely turn my steering wheel without a terrible rub. When I take my LR4 back in to fix the rubbing issue later that day I was told my tires still rub but not as bad and I was charged over $150 for this fix?? I cant reverse without rubbing, and I cant turn my steering wheel one full turn without it rubbing. I just paid almost $3k and not happy. Still rubs bad, Ive called and left messages and not getting any call backs. Anyone know of a company that can resolve my issue?

Cool store but extremely overpriced. Took my axle back exhaust in to get it installed and they said it would be around 300 dollars for installation. Took it to a Midas and the guy put it on for 50 dollars. Im not exaggerating at all. I would definitely recommend looking at other options before going here.

Awful customer service. Called to ask price for wheels and she seemed put out by the request. She also said they would charge $15 per wheel to ship to their store and “no they don’t carry a lot of wheels in stock so that’s just the way it works”. I told her I’d gladly take my business else where since she seems put out.

I will never go back to this location. I visited twice in the last few months and received the same treatment of customer service. It seemed like a struggle and bother to get assistance while Im in your place of business. The products and services are overpriced. Take your money and go elsewhere where your dollar is appreciated.

Refused to install my exhaust unless I bought it from them. They will only install parts they purchase. My guess is they have a strong markup in the part. That is understandable I guess but I didnt know prior to contacting the shop that they even did exhausts. They dont list them on their website. Nor do they say they wont install parts unless purchased there on their website. Maybe they should state on their website that they only install parts purchased from them? That would have possibly alleviated part of the problem here. I ordered my own exhaust and was looking for a shop to install it. They told me no and that it is because you as the customer dont know how to order the correct parts for your vehicle and if parts are wrong. the customer refuses to pay for service. None of which made any sense to me. It was somewhat condescending in they suggested I dont know how to order parts for my vehicle. It didnt matter either that I was going to purchase wheels from them also and had other family members who were interested in using this shop. I probably would have dropped it at that point, but the owner decided to take it an unnecessary step further which prompted this review and I think others need to know about it. I was told by Chad Dearth, owner, he was tired of listening to me complain and blocked me from messenger after a couple of messages. My complaining consisted of me stating it was unfortunate because I had lots more business to give him. Maybe Chad was having a bad day? Or maybe he wasnt? Maybe he doesnt like people who buy auto parts online? My goal was simply to give a local business some business. Chad is part of the problem with small business not having enough business and therefore going out of business. It is mindset. If you read his website, it states that all internet customers come second? Arent the majority of sales on the internet these days? And here was Chads chance to take advantage of some of that business. I didnt even get a chance to become a customer. He touts 27 years in business but that is the past and future business is not guaranteed. If this is how you would want to be treated, by all means use KC Trends. I personally dont recommend this place to anyone and will be sharing my experience with everyone who talks to me about needing these types of products. Obviously their goal here was not complete satisfaction as they state on their website.

Walked in look at wheels all around shop. They have a nice showroom that I walked around for a good 15 to 20 min, but no one helpedme. There was like 5 people standing around the front counter but no one came to help me so I left.

I have been to KC Trends multiple times for various upgrades and regular maintance to my car. Every time I go, the service is fast and done correctly. Every employee there is extremely kind, helpful, and is more than happy to help you make your car the way you want it. I can not speak more highly of any other shop like it.

I cannot give it more than a two star. The reason is that it seems unless you have a vehicle worth more than $50,000 they treat you as if you shouldnt be there. Have brought in a Camaro from the 90s that had seen better days and they acted as if the car and I had an incurable disease. They installed the stereo but the price was way higher than I was told and noone even cracked a smile to a paying customer. When a company that started from such grass roots forgets where it came from and only considers the higher class customers as good customers its lost itself.

Originally gave me a very reasonable quote for labor on an install for parts they couldnt order. ($85/hr). Purchased the parts myself, and when trying to make an appointment for install, they couldnt fit me it in anytime in the near future for pre-purchased parts. Steer clear unless you want to pay massive markup.

Came to KC trends after receiving bad service from Richline MotorSport in independence.Walk-in and Pedro (quien habla español) helped me get the wheels I wanted. Checked pricing and availability on several wheels. He was respectful and kind.The owner even made a deal with me on the rims I was looking at. Had my car tint done here. Except for some tiny bubbles, the overall job was good. They need to work on their customer service though. I had to wait 10 minutes at the counter before someone came up to me although they knew I was there waiting. The employee didnt have the best attitude either. I know they serve some high profile clients but customers like us who drive regular cars are also giving you business! Wont return.

Been happy with these guys since 2001 when I got my first set of rims for my Dodge Neon lol..Now Ill be getting my new wheels for my BMW 650i. The customer service was very poor. Seems to me as the employees don’t really know what they are talking about and come off as very rude. I had to come in 4 seperate times to get wheels/tires/level/tint/speedometer recalibration when it was supposed to get done the first time. I was the one calling to get it set up they were not calling me when they screwed up the scheduling and ordering the wrong products. Before this I would have said Kc trends is the best in the area but I had a better experience at chux trux

KC Trends in Overland Park is horrible. All employees at this location are grumpy, rude and not interested in helping you. I think the store is just for show because they definitely are not interested in selling you something.

I don’t normally write reviews but this KC Trends is bad enough for me to contribute some of my time to make the public BEWARE of their rudeness behavors, unprofessional & their con artist!If you’ve ever notice, they never say their names when answering the phone! So rude!!! They treated people like idiots & they are the ones who knows it all!!! They sold me a set of Tire & Rims but stole the parts from my orininal tires and installed them onto the new set. They told me their process took about two hours, it took them a whole day. They basically LIE!!! They treated my original set of tires like trash. My original tires & rims got scratch marks everywhere. They were so rough of the new set too! There are scratch marks in some places. Their technicians seem inexperience and frustrated! I will never come back to KC Trends & will not recomended to anyone unless you want to pay a lot more & be treated like trash!!! IF ANYTHING BELOW 1-Star, that’s what they deserved!!!
