Quest did a fantastic job or diagnosting where the leak of antifreeze was coming from and repairing it. It was located in my twin turbos on my 2016 F150. They did the repair for 1/3 of the cost that Ford wanted to charge for it. You have a customer for life.

This shop offers excellent service. I think all mechanics base their charges off of the same magical book of costs, but Quest saved me a few bucks by reusing some of my old parts. The worst part for their customers? Theyre booked! Two week wait to even LOOK at my truck! They need a bigger shop!!

Great place! Seemed very trustworthy. I was wanting my exhaust work done a certain way. They took the time to listen to me and they took the time to explain why it wouldn’t work the way I wanted it. Offered alternatives and explained everything and answered any questions. I am extremely happy with the finished results. The exhaust on my 1974 Chevelle looks and sounds fantastic! I’m a car guy and do most of my own work but I just don’t have the tools for exhaust work. After being in this shop I wouldn’t be afraid to take my car here for anything. I recommend this place to everyone! Great people!

If planned on doing the work myself due to a very high quote I received from a dealer. Joe took the time to explain to me why that particular job was better left to a professional. In the end, fewer parts were needed for the initial job, I tacked on two additional jobs, and still saved about $300 from the dealer quote.I think I finally have a neighborhood mechanic again! Based on the number of vehicles in his lot, though, everyone in the neighborhood already trusts Quest with their auto work!

This guy was great. I was home for Thanksgiving break and he got my car in on Monday and had it back to me by Wednesday. I needed an oil change and suspected I had a stripped plug. I was expecting to have to replace the whole oil pan because that is what toyota said they had to do but he replaced the plug and fixed it making it much less expensive. I also thought I needed the break pads replaced because I could feel them not working right. He found a larger problem with the calipers being rusted stuck. He gave us pictures of everything and was very honest about everything he even let us see the rusted parts he took out. He was honest, fast and fairly priced. I will definitely be using this shop for my future car repair needs.

Very happy I found this place. I was searching for a shop that handles exhaust work and I stumbled upon this place. I read the reviews and decided to give them a go and I’m sure glad I did. Their professionalism and work is impressive. I received an honest diagnosis and fix for an honest fee. I will not hesitate to have future work performed here again for all the cars in the family. I submit very few reviews but feel strongly to give credit when a job is well done!

Had to change my review to 1 star (I would put 0 but there is no option) after my recent service with them. They charged me for the job they have never done. They claimed that they replaced the solenoid but as I do not trust anyone these days I checked that and found out that the solenoid is still the old one. After a long argument they brought me the old solenoid they pretended to replace and as you can see on the photo (laying on top or the attached one) its a brand new one with no even sign on it that it was used before, to compare with the one sitting on my car. Obvious fraud. Very frustrated. Didnt expect this approach from trusted service on such a small fix they were supposed to do. Didnt expect such a behavior from the owner, who yelled on us and tried to kick us out of the property when we tried to get either refund or job done. Better stay away from them.

Quest always helps us when we need, Ive gone through them with my car for everything plus emergency repairs with my sisters car. They always help us out when they can.

Very busy, friendly and good turn-around if you call before coming in for a drop off time. I needed a check and replacement for a speed sensor. Call in, got a time to drop off, they had to order the part no problem! Everything was smooth, easy and everyone was friendly. One gentleman was very helpful in some questions I had and I appreciated that! I also loved that my first visit came with a quote list on things they saw that needed fixing as a recommendation list. I knew I needed a few things so it wasnt a surprise but the fact that they listed that out for me was nice to see how helpful they try to be.Afterwards I got new tires put on and needed an alignment so I made use of my second trip in for the sensor after the part was in and got my alignment. All went really well :)Overall it was a great experience and if I need car help again I will more then likely bring it here. They seem like they do just about everything you could need for your vehicle!

I was looking for some place near where I work to get my car serviced and stumbled on Quest Auto Services through a Google search. Since I dont live nearby, I had to rely on the reviews I read about Quest Auto Services. I called and talked to Joe and made arrangements to take my car in.When I got there, it was nice to see that everything was well-organized and clean. I loved the fact that it was a locally owned family business. Joe was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable about having them work on my car. They even gave me a ride to work!Joe called and told me what was wrong with my brakes. Though it was more than I wanted to spend (but, then again, when are car repairs ever NOT more than we want to spend?!), I feel that I was treated honestly and that the price was reasonable for the work that needed to be done.Joe and his staff did a great job repairing my car. He even called and let me know I had a couple of light bulbs that needed to be replaced. When I went to pick my car up, he showed me the parts they had taken off my car and showed me what was wrong with my brakes. Nothing hidden here!Next time I need work done on my car, you bet I will take it to Quest Auto Services! I would recommend them to anyone with no reservations. Great work, friendly attitude, honest and respectful people and great customer service make for a winning combination!

Searched for a mechanic that could fix my truck and was fortunate to read other reviews about Quest on G+ and decided to try them out.I was very happy with Joe and his honesty by keeping me in the loop. I will say they will are not a discount mechanic. They are a Quality Mechanic and a fair price which was very important to me.Take the time and go check them out, I am very happy I did.

First off I was a ASE mechanic for 5 years. I didnt have time to trace out the short so I chose to take it to quest because of that. I had it towed there and after 2 days they called and told me that my alternator and battery were bad and I needed to replace them before they could even check for the short. Which is BS because I had the battery and alternator tested before I even took it to them. They both tested good. I was also told that they were able to jump start it to drive it in. Which is also BS because I already tried jumping also. So to make my point. These people are crooks. They are dishonest and really dont know what they are doing. Between the 2 tows and what they supposedly did cost me over $200 and they didnt even look at what I brought it there for! Take you car elsewhere if you dont want to get ripped off!

Great employees and they do great work

I moved to Overland Park from out of state and needed some emergency work done. I got a referral for Quest from a co-worker and I am very happy to report that they were fantastic. They showed me what needed to be done not just told me and gave me upfront fair prices for all their work. They followed through on all the promised time tables and got the job done.

Joe and his amazing team are guys with integrity. The work they do is honest quick and very reliable. Same great quality at a dealership without the price tag attached to it.

Joe, the manager was great to work with! I had to change my appointment about three times due to work schedule conflicts, and he was very accomadating. Its also very hard to find a honest, reliable mechanic, and Joe gave great advice and was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend them, and will make them our go-to mechanic!

These guys are truly a rare find; an honest, quality mechanic at last! They really look out for their customers, making sure you know exactly whats going on and putting no pressure on you to drop down the money on a repair. The first time I went there, repairs on my vehicle were taking longer than anticipated, so the owner actually offered to let me borrow his truck to get to work! He will go out of his way to check if your manufacturer has any warranties or recalls on your car, then back you up and help you negotiate with the dealer if theyre being stubborn on their end.The one thing to keep in mind is that they are a small, locally-owned business and busy all the time. Set up an appointment ahead of time with these guys.

Joe and all the guys here do a great job of taking care of their customers. Ive been coming here for a few years, and my car now has 335K miles and counting thanks to them! While Joe will always let me know what kind of maintenance or repairs I need, hes also very honest about whats smart to do or not based on my car and budget. Anytime I need work done I always make it a point to come see Joe as I know it will be done quick, correct and without added nonsense repairs like other shops.

Joe and Zach in the office were great to work with and they definitely have a shop full of skilled employees . Was in town only for a couple days and told them what I wanted done,they ordered the parts and got everything in on time, and performed all the work in a short work day, much quicker and CHEAPER than expected. My mechanic is also my friend and I havent used a shop in almost 20yrs but wanted some exhaust tips welded on. I called multiple shops in the area for whats a fairly basic job for any shop that handles exhaust work and all the other shops wanted to get it in the air first and then schedule again to have the work done. I gave Joe the same song and dance all the other shops got and he said no problem and got me in immediately rather than waiting two weeks or more. They went above and beyond on this basic job, they knew it was important to me to get it right and they made it seem just as important to them. Finished it off with some black VHT and sent me on my way at a great price. The biggest reason for my five stars isnt about the service I received, I was able to witness a customer interaction on the phone and in person and its easy to see Joe and his group of guys care. He provided full disclosure and explanation of the repairs and parts needed with zero BS. If I ever need shop work done again, Ill be back otherwise Ill send everybody to Quest Automotive.

My husbands truck broke down on the side of the road. We had no idea where to take it. Relied heavily on internet recommendations and had it towed to quest. We could not be more satisfied with our choice! They were friendly, honest and had our truck back on the road in no time. I bought a used car and within 7 days the check engine light was on. I took it to quest after a referral from a friend. They called me later that day and told me essentially I got a lemon. They were so thorough and so nice. Im a 27 year old female and dont know anything about cars. And even taking a friend who knows cars to the dealership I still got screwed. But anyway, I didnt feel any pressure on fixing anything but they gave me a list of everything and gave me some advice. Joe was so nice and being that I dont know anything I didnt feel like he was taking advantage of my lack of knowledge. I Will definitely use them in the future.

Weve been taking our Nissan Xterra to Quest for several years and have learned these guys are quality, honorable people. We arent the perfect customers (sometimes we forget to follow Joes advice), but he never says I told you so and always goes out of his way to explain (even sometimes re-explain) the situation and his recommendations.Our experiences have been been that Joe and his team genuinely want us to understand what needs to be done and what the costs will be, up front, so we can make educated decisions. They dont pressure us to do anything and when we dont or cant make their recommended repairs, they will explain the symptoms to look out for, as well as potential consequences of not following their recommendations. Like I said, they are quality, honorable people.

I had a problem with a leaking radiator and an overheating Jeep Liberty and needed to take it to someone immediately for a fix. I happened to be close to Quest Auto Service so looked on Yelp and it got good reviews. Turns out it should have been GREAT reviews. Joe took very good care of us, showed us all the parts that were replaced and how the problem occurred. I have found my new mechanic/auto shop!

I am unbelievably disappointed with this place. About two months ago by car broke down about a block from this shop, so it was my only option to take it to the this place because it was closest and I wouldnt have to pay for a tow truck. They told me I needed about $1500 worth of repairs just to make sure we fixed the problem. I called my hometown mechanic that I really trust and he told me that the most expensive repair they told me I needed done would not be causing this problem. So I had them do a portion of the repairs they recommended, paid $250 and I got the $1250 repair done at another shop that only charged me $650. That was the first sign that this place overcharges on a ridiculous scale. A month later the problem starts again. I call Quest Auto and they tell me to bring it back it. They told me that the after market part they put in tends to be rejected by my car so they recommended putting in one from the manufacturer and putting in another part that goes with this already replaced part because they go hand in hand. Why this wasnt recommended to me before, I dont know. I asked them Is there any other possible cause for this issue? and they specifically said no this makes the most sense. I said fine, replace both parts (they only charged me for the second new part and the labor since I already paid for the first one to be replaced. I appreciate that) I come in to pick it up Tuesday morning and they tell me theyve driven it around and it is working great. I say fantastic, pay $125, and I drive it to work. The same problem happened again on my drive to work! I immediately call them and say the problem is still happening. They dont apologize, they just say bring it back in. I bring it in later that week and they call and tell me they found a crack in this completely obscure part that they have not mentioned to me before, however, it made sense that it could be causing the problem. They replaced it, I came and pick it up, pay $75, drive it to work and the problem happens again only now it seems worse. I have now paid them $450 to replace three different parts (not to mention a $10.50 shop fee every single time. Over $30 total to them for each time they tell me to bring it back in to fix the exact same problem!) and the problem is still not fixed!! I feel like theyve just taken advantage of me and are trying to squeeze me for every penny Ive got before they actually fix the problem. I find it very hard to believe that these men who appear to have been in the business for over 25 years cant figure out this small issue. I will definitely not be going back to them and I do not recommend them to anyone. They are very nice and personable, but what good is a friendly mechanic if he cant fix your car?

A tad pricey,, but they are honest about what really needs fixed and if they dont think a vehicle is worth investing repairs in, they will tell you up front vs taking your hard earned money to fix a lemon.

Dont go this shop...They are really rude.i took my car with a tow truck to that shop.The guy gave me a quote to fix my car with with amount over my budget. I asked him politely if we can do some of listed items in his quote. He yelled over the phone and said you want to waste my time, i am not give you a menu to choose from.I ended up pay him 170 dollars for the check and estimate without fixing my car.
