Had an incredibly awkward experience when I asked if they carried a specific type of Liquor and the salesperson laughed at me in front of several other customers before replying no. Maybe it was just that individual but I dont plan on shopping anywhere that the employee treats me like an idiot for asking a legitimate question.

Like this little store. It’s close, convenient and it’s pretty well stocked.

*****Update*****To everyone who read my previous post, I would like to let you know that within a couple days of mailing a letter to the current & previous owners regarding my issue at the store (being falsely accused of trying to steal), both Larry & Doug called me to apologize & discuss what happened. I was also informed that steps will be taken to make sure this doesnt happen again to anyone. I plan on going back & will ask for Doug as he would like to meet in person.I just want to tell everyone about an experience I had last night and ask you to avoid Nall Hills Liquor (formerly Knockys Liquor) at 9541 Nall Avenue Overland Park, KS. Last night I walked in, as I have almost every weekend for the past 4-5 years, and was disrespected by an employee. I dont know how long he has worked there but I didnt recognize him and I recognize most of the employees there and they recognize me. He very rudely asked me to leave and wrongly called me a thief. He claimed to have caught me trying to steal in the past. It takes a lot to make me mad, but this guy found a way to do it. I have never been so disrespected in my life. Im not mad about having to go to a different liquor store, as there are plenty of other options. I am angry about being accused of something I did not do. If you are going to call someone a thief...you better be 100% sure you have the right person. This company has lost one of their regulars, and someone who used to recommend others go there to support this smaller, locally owned business. I will never recommend that anyone go there again.If you are in the area, some other options are Metcalf Discount Liquor, Ranchmart Wine, J&L Discount Wine or Royal Liquors.
