This is a great store managed by owners; they are extremely friendly and lovely. The most instinct advantage of owners is integrity and honesty; they are trustworthy when it comes to weights so much so they add more in favor of customers. They do care about heigh quality with competitive prices. I do recommend everyone should give it a try and see.

I have probably bought from this place a 100 of times for my husband because he only eats halal meat. And it’s the freshest halal meat we ever buy in Kansas, and it’s very weird reading some of the comments on here because it’s literally not once did the meat ever was not fresh. They never disappointed us we love this place and I wish nothing more but success for these amazing people that work their.

This store is my go to place when I need quick and fast food items at home. Thy are extremely friendly and helpful. They are always there to help you find what you’re looking for. You just couldn’t find any store owners that are more happy to see you walk into to their store.

This is a one of its own kind of place that charge you for using credit or debit card. If you compare prices for certain commonly available groceries at Indian stores this place is always higher. Funniest thing is owners prefer cash payment but refunds get paid in check if you want refund. Only difference is this place have halal meat to use as an excuse to ripoff. This the same reason a lot of other halal meat places shutdown in Kansa city because our Muslim brothers want all the money in one day no matter how it comes. So I quit buying from here now we get it delivered from Chicago.

I went here for my Eid ul Adha Qurbani 2021. Brother Ahmed and his family run a very respectful family business. My meat was delivered one day earlier than expected. MashAllah the meat was high quality, tender, and did not smell bad, and most importantly hand slaughtered zabiha by muslim. I would trust this market, because this brother has been a staple of the community for many years. I will continue to buy here inshAllah.

I am not a regular but visit this place once in a while. I am not going there again, based on my experience last week. Let me explain why:1. The place a clean and organized, way better than most indo/pakistani/Mediterranean grocery stores. Thats the only good about this place. But they have a horrible ordering system. You cannot talk to a person over the phone or walk in to order something. They run on a strange SMS (Text) ordering system which is a joke. The system never says a price of any item, you just cannot compare and decide.2. The Beef if way overpriced. They always brag about the quality and want to justify this jacked up price. To me other Halal groceries in greater Kansas City offers the same meat at much lower price. I could not compare the chicken price though.3. The front desk staff (owner) is rude. She needs to understand its a business, and we are her customers. We are not getting any favor, and she is not doing any. In the past the owners have severely retaliated any negative online comments, and I am sure they will attack me too. You connect the dots. In a nutshell this place has zero or negative customer service.4. Make sure every price is correct once she rings the items. She charged me more for two items, and I immediately figured it. Then she said sorry and adjusted the price. It is stealing.5. They will charge you 3% for credit card transactions. Come on, is it 1980?6. I asked for beef with bones. She never asked how I wanted them, or never showed any inclination to cut the bones into small pieces. I ended up getting close to 50% bones in large pieces, which were useless. The value for this assorted Beef is very low.7. I took recommendations from my local friends, and I have found another store in LeneXXA. That store is PaX HalaX. Much better customer service, and they will cut the meat in front of you. You can talk to real person over the phone, can ask price and then decide. They will also ask you how small you want the pieces to be cut. I am impressed.

I highly recommend this place, whenever I bought meat or chicken I always got them fresh. I like the way they chop meat. For us the most important part is that the pieces should be right and they have the skill to make it perfect. Many of friends who visited Kansas after having meat they really appreciated because they never got such great meat. They really appreciated the way meat is chopped. In the end, the people who own and work there are very generous.

Owner is crook the lady who work at reception counter is rude. I purchased 7 lb meat they provide me in one bag instead of 2 or 3. When i went to check out they didnt add my other groceries that i purchased i will never go back there again i dont care about your quality plus your price is OVERPRICED as compared to others stores also they sell expired items make sure during your shopping you can see your self in store there is overstocked items since this pandemic they dont wear mask and gauged price of all items. Wont Recommend.

The charge of the meat is inconsistent and very pricy sometimes.. I could not figure out based on what they charge but each time there is some unexpectedness in the charge for the same standard meat..!!! Quality of meat is good but price is very dissatisfied..!!!

Very bad quality of food. They dont sell the fresh meat, they say it is fresh but sells frozen meat for more price after unfreezing(defrost) it. Best Halal goat in KC.

All I can say is (with 100% honesty) that the people who run this store truly great and honest, and the food that they provide is clean and well administrated. We have been customers for years now, and the owner still calls us every time there is a new shipment of the groceries we buy every month. There have been countless times where we have need meat within a couple of hours and International Groceries gets the job perfectly and on time. I will leave you with this, the owner of this store drives way out of town every week to personally hand cut the meat he sells to ensure perfection in every cut.

We moved here a while back and cam out of the Washington DC area, and I cant tell you how refreshing it has been to shop here. Most of the halal stores we were used to were not that professional (though well intentioned) but brother Ahmed and his wife really go out of their way to run a clean and customer-centric business. This store has been a blessing since we moved here and I pray that God continues to reward this hard working family in all that they do.

Every experience at Halal Meat Market is a personal one. They treat you right and care about each individual customer. I have never been to a better meat market with better service and product. The meat is the very best in quality. People ask me all the time where I shop because the meat is so good. No other meat market compares.

Ive been their customer for around 3 years now since I moved to Kansas and have gone back to them after trying few other places which sell halal meat in the area. The price cannot be compared to other places due to the quality they serve which is the only reason their customers go back to them every time. They recognize their customers personally and make you feel at ease while shopping. Every business runs on its own principles and if you are not ready to order ahead or pay the extra $$ for quality, this is not for you. I go there even if I need just 1lb of chicken, but thats me because I want the good stuff every time.

We decided to check out this market today....itd probably been a couple years since we visited this market and well NEVER come here AGAIN! First off, as we pulled in, the owner(Im just assuming) tells us to please park someplace else so HIS customers could park there(like we wouldnt be going to his store bc were white I guess)...the prices for their baklava was unreal...$35 for prepackaged product that had probably been sitting there forever.. Ill find a middle Eastern market that appreciates the business of a customer no matter what their skin color may be!

I have had the pleasure of shopping at Halal Meat Market for almost 4 years now. Initially I would travel almost 90+ miles each way while living in Mid Missouri; I would stock a large cooler worth of meat to last us a couple of months.Many reviewers are quick to point out prices being high compared to other local merchants but they fail to also mention why. Brother Ahmed truly only supplies quality meat and refuses to cut corners on quality of service. Seriously, I have yet to meet a butcher who would incur the added cost of putting meat (I like smaller portion sizes) in to Zip Lock bags; I just LOVE that.Whenever I enter the store theres always a warm smile to greet me and I always look forward to my next visit.

This store is conveniently located in OP close to a highway ... can get in and out quickly and offers an amazing selection of international foods including the best fresh meats and chicken. Owners always greet with a friendly, welcoming smile and willingness to help. Shopping at Halal Market is always a pleasure. 👍

Warm welcome by owner and his wife. Hardly any walking space in the store. Fully stocked with merchandise. Prices are skyrocket. Most of the items dont have price tag. Cash, check and debit cards are welcome. Paying by credit card, they want to charge extra fee for that.

I have been visiting the store over 4 years and really like the baby goat meat from their store. Placing the order is easy with a text message and can pick up the order at my convenience. appreciate their attention to the detail and great service. would like to recommend this place.

Fresh and clean store

Though they have best goat meat, customer service is zero. Even if we order via phone (text) and they give you a pick up time, still they make us wait for more than 20 mins past the pick time confirmed by themselves. No respect for customers time, there is a reason we order 6 hours ahead so I would not be waiting in the store wasting my time. Will not shop again, will take my business some where else, where they respect my time. Their prices are also too high.Note: This delay is even during normal working week (not weekend or holidays), forget about it during weekends and holidays, delay will be in hours.

Good Organic grass fed/cage free meat/poultry. Best part is order over the phone and they will have it ready. Its very fresh and def tastes better than any other local stores that I know of.

This is a wonderful halal market! I recently got married and moved to Missouri from Maryland, its quite different here. This market reminds me of home and sells everything that I need! Its on the expensive side but the meat is great quality so I dont mind. The owners are very nice, Ive never really cooked before and have no idea what to get so I put my mother on speaker (she lives in MD) and she placed an order for me. It was ready within half an hour. I drive out about an hour twice a month, worth it. :) Ran out of gyros, my husband loves these!

Nothing has any prices on it so you have to ask about everything. We were also kicked out 30 seconds after walking in because the cashier had to pray for 45 minutes at 1:00 in the afternoon. Very Unprofessional!The one thing I managed to find out the price on was a whole lamb and it cost more to buy whole than it does butchered and packaged elsewhere.You only need to read the negative responses that owners have left to all the negative reviews to see what kind of people are running this store. Unprofessional.EDIT: The owner seems eager to prove my point, they responded almost instantly to my negative review by calling me a big mouth and telling me not to come back.
