Santa Fe Auto sound installed stereo up grade on my Harley Davidson first….excellent sound! Had issue with my bike eating the left rear speaker wire went back they jumped right on the repair made it right like it had never happened. Thanks Dave…. My question is i was just quoted to look at what im sure is a simple solution they quoted me $100 an hour. So that competitive to people? Was anyone else quoted that? i just saw a review where they didnt even charge someone. There not plumbers doing audio work are they? GEEZ. Im in agreement with another review. They must have special prices for different people!

Wow. I needed their help in identifying whether I had an after market alarm on my car. They didnt charge me a penny to check it out but their hourly fee was very competitive. I will definitely use them again for any future auto sound/ alarm needs!

Custom Dash Cam Installation: Had Santa Fe Auto Sound hard-wire install a BlackVue DR900S-2CH Dual Lens Dash Cam for the front and back, along with the magic pro battery on our Audi SUV.I appreciated that they actually took appointments and had a pretty good estimate as to how much it would cost and the time it would take to complete the job. I was able to book an appointment for 1 week later. The installation took a little bit longer than expected, but their estimate was nearly spot on and fair.The Magic Pro Battery pack was set on 12V and infinity mode and they were able to hide the battery for me. The installation went very smoothly. I used a BlendMount Dashcam Aluminum Rearview Mirror Mount (so that I wouldnt have to place any adhesive on the front window- would go to blendmount website to enter your specific car to get the proper mount). Santa Fe Auto Sound was able to hide the wire through and through and even along the rear trunk (see image), so that wiring would not be exposed externally.They were very accommodating and able to answer any questions. I would probably leave the car next time and come back to pick it up, but they did have complimentary wifi there.Thanks Santa Fe Auto. I used Santa Fe Auto Sound to install a Compustar Remote Start system. They were able to schedule my install less than a week after purchase. When the day came to install the system, they completed it under the time they had quoted and gave a great demonstration of the system when I picked up my vehicle. I will definitely be returning in the future!

Asked these guys to do some work for my wifes car which she loves but it lacks latest audio and video whistles. Installers had done an impeccable job. Everything looks like factory install. Im very picky about details. These guys did their job perfectly. Ill visit them again with my future audio/video installs.

Bought an old FJ100 Land Cruiser and wanted to make some updates. Santa Fe Auto Sound was great to work with. They installed a new Excelon head unit and a back up camera, replaced the power antenna, fixed the up/down switch and added 2 USB/Aux inputs. Everything looks so stock & professional. They got me in quickly and managed to turn it around in 1 day. Will be back when its time to replace the speakers & sub.

They went above and beyond helping me out with cleaning the instrument panel cover, when the detailing shop I went to said No they wouldnt touch it. They took the time to review the new head unit and made sure I was fully versed in its functions and how to use it. Who Does That? I have bought new cars from dealers and they dont do that. These guys were professional, and absolutely the best. So happy I went there. BTW I had no idea my stereo system could sound that good. It is amazing!

Recently had remote start installed for Infiniti, works awesome as its incorporated into the existing key fob as well as cell phone. A little snafu during installation that was addressed and taken care of without question. I am pleased with their work and can attest that this shop operates with a sense of integrity. Highly Recommend.

I had my failing radio replaced in my 2010 BMW with an aftermarket radio (BMW wanted way too much just to give me another stock radio but thats another story). After the radio had been installed the electronics in the car (locks, warning lights etc) started acting weird. I called back and I think it was Scott who helped me and we decided it was a faulty part in the radio. They quickly ordered a new one and got it replaced at no additional charge. The radio works and sounds great now about a month later. I was very happy with the work and the price and would recommend to a friend.

If you’re going to offer the intoxalock, you have no business giving the store 4 days off for a holiday. That’s pretty shady, I’m getting fined now for being loyal to you... there’s nothing good I can say..

I walked in, waited for 10 min, had three employees walk around and past me. Nit one asked if they could help me. I wanted to put in a new radio, two cameras, amp, sub and speakers into my SUV. Looked like nice stuff.. they wont be putting it in my car. They must be good to not care about customer service. Wish them the best!

-They don’t seem to care if what they installed is working properly-They DON’T CARE IF THEY DAMAGE/BREAK SOMETHING ON YOUR CAR as long as they can leave on time-They don’t put your car back together properlyI’ll go into more detail in a moment, but to quickly get to the point:If you trust a shop that is fine with leaving a petite girl who lives 3hrs away with a window that won’t roll up due to their fault up in 14 degree weather at night when it is snowing with no way to fix it. Then by all means, this is the shop for you!I drove up there from Wichita, KS (3hrs away) they didn’t seem to care that what they installed was not working and that I would have to drive clear back up there if it didn’t start working. They told me I had to call tech support and there was nothing they could do. Tech support was closed.The thing I really have an issue with is that they had rolled my window down and it came off the track, but INSTEAD OF FIXING IT the guy forced the window up over the window seal!!! I didn’t notice this until after I left and when I called back up there, no one answered because they were closed.I had to pull into a parking lot to try and fix my window. I feel the need to throw out there that at this point it was now dark and my phone showed it was 23 degrees out, but due to the wind chill it felt like, also according to my phone, IT WAS 14 DEGREES OUT AND SNOWING!! I’m 5’2’ and don’t weigh that much so I get cold really easily and was not dressed to be outside in that weather seeing as how I had no intention to be. Luckily, I know how to put a window back on its track and always keep a few tools in my trunk. Normally it takes me around 7min at most to fix this, but IT TOOK ME ALMOST AN HOUR TO FIX THIS BECAUSE THE GUY AT THE SHOP HAD DAMAGED MY SEAL SO BADLY!!! It didn’t help that I was having trouble getting the screw driver in the grooves on the screw because I was shaking so bad from the cold. Also, I HAD TO BUY A NEW WINDOW SEAL!

Bought a lesser-expensive unit, but the display wasnt bright enough because of the goofy angle of my dash. I upgraded to a different model, and they didnt charge extra for re-installation! I was really pleased, to say the least.Then had a parasitic battery drain problem after installation of my second stereo, and spent time and money with another place chasing the problem, thinking it couldnt have been the brand new stereo. Finally brought it back to Santa Fe Auto Sound. They spent almost five hours diagnosing the problem, found a defective computer interface module that the other place didnt, and it was all covered under warranty for my Kenwood unit that they originally installed!They even stayed nearly 30 minutes after hours to get me going, because I really needed the vehicle the next day.These guys stand behind their work, and they do it all with a cheerful, can-do attitude. Trust in them for your next auto sound work...you wont be sorry!

Would give 0 stars if possible. Went in to buy a $200 head unit and have it installed. I was quoted a total of $600+ .... $400 to install a head unit? Will never return. Any high reviews must be from friends that they hooked-up with normal prices.

Come here to get a calibration once a month for my car. One staff member, not sure of his name acts as though I’m an inconvenience to him when I come in. Quality customer service is not an attribute to this location. I work in customer service myself and know how guests should be treated. I do not feel welcome here and will not be back for any service they offer.

Santa Fe auto sound has been around many of years, that should say enough. Employees are real friendly and awnsered all my questions where I easily understood. I will be back.

Called to ask about availability of JL audio amps and never got a call back within 48 hours. Not having anyone to answer the phone is already a red flag, much less not being able to return their sales calls. I already put down my deposit and made an appt to get it installed at another shop (Loud and clear in KCK). Guess they just lost a $800+ sale! I wouldnt want to see how long it takes them to return a call about a repair or an issue where they would not be earning 500$+...

These guys are fantastic. They did such a great job that I am writing this review, literally right after picking up my car. My car was broken into and they did this installation off of an insurance voucher.All they had to do was move some wiring and hookup my amp and head unit, but they did more than just that. They put in a custom mounting board (matched to the color of my carpet) to make my amp more secure, hopefully preventing future break-ins. They also installed the microphone for phone calls that came with my head unit! All of this without me saying a word.If you dont go here, you better have a damn good reason!

These guys are VERY friendly. Honestly I came in and they treated me with respect,.. to a point. That point was when it came to pricing. They gave me a quote that was $1200 more expensive than 2 other car audio places. They charge top dollar not only for the products but for their services.I believe they must have a good owner because they stress great service. I like to support local businesses but folks, but what you want online and go to another shop to have it installed. I saved $1,200 on my parts and install vs what they were going to charge. You are better off going ANYWHERE else for your install, even BestBuy.Great attitude and customer service guys, but you will always lose to someone else when you charge MSRP in the world of internet.

UPDATEI have to say that Sante Fe Auto Sound does stand behind their work. they have fixed the things that were broken and secured the piece that was not secure. I changed my 1 Star to 3 Star.I had taken my 2014 Stingray in to get Laser jammer and Radar installed. this was a recommendation by a friend that had good experience. I was quoted 10 hrs, and when i came to pick it up they charged me 14 hrs! the original install broke plastic door piece, where switch was mounted was not secured so would pop out. when they put my rear bumper back on they didnt put piece on correctly so there is a gap where it should have been clipped in. they did order replacement piece for plastic, so i left it again with them and they replaced piece but it has already come unglued and not as secure as drivers side piece. also get rattles now on the passenger side. I will be taking it back in to get this stuff fixed. figure for that many hours the stuff should have been right!

An Overland Park staple. Do yourself a favor and use these guys if you need car audio instead of the box stores. There is a reason they have been around so long. Do yourself a favor and find out why.

Horrible customer service and discriminatory towards customers of color. Went in to get some lights installed talked to a guy outside who had just pulled a car out the garage just finishing a similar job to what I was looking for. I talked to the guy who was kool about what I was looking for and if they did that type of work. The guy said sure they do it all the time and most notably on the type of car I was driving. After looking at the work he just completed again the same work I needed we talked pricing and went inside. He handed me off to some guy who was a total jerk and after explaining to him what I wanted to do he quickly said No we dont do that type of work so with the most puzzled look on my face after just seeing a completed job I said to him well you just finished a job similar to what I was trying to do.....Again he stated we dont do that type of work......This guy was really smug and I could just tell by his responses and the fact that I just seen a finished product that he was not intrested in my business....It cool though becasue I ended up taking my money and my nice ass ride to another business who actually said that I was better off for not getting any work done there becasue they do subpair work.......Word to the wise if you are thinking about taking your car here for any work save yourself the trouble and hassle and take it somewhere that serves all customers of all races and will actually do good work to your car and stand by the work they do!!!!!!!

They did a very nice job installing a remote starter for my Acura.

The saff know thier products and use their expertise when helping you customize what you want. Their prices are a little high compared to their competition but you get what you pay for and wont be dissatisfied. When you look at their quality of work and materials you know that extra money was worth it. If your on a budget they will give you several options to meet it. I had them install 4 speakers, a sub, an amp, hushmat, and a touch screen reciever in my 14 jetta and I have no complaints. When a tweeter malfunctioned i brought it in and they swapped it out no charge as expected. Overall their customers service is world class and unmatched. Ive had systems installed by car toys and quality auto sound in the past and their service and quality did not come near sante fes standards.

As I walked into best buy in olathe like usual they didnt have what I was looking for but the guy sent me to Sante Fe AS so I went on there. Very rarily do you find a car audio shop with such respect and pride or even a shop with such a nice display. The fellow who walked me through the selection was very.patient, instead of shoving high priced over needed stuff down my throat he got me what I needed. Still spent over $300 but I walked in and got what I needed!

I have an RV that came equipped with a Kenwood in dash DVD, Nav, bluetooth, ipod, FM unit. It stopped working. The folks at Santa Fe auto sound, worked with me to obtain proof of purchase from the RV manufacturer for warranty purposes. They then took the unit out of the vehicle, sent it off to Kenwood for the warranty repair. When the unit was shipped back they promptly called me and had the unit back in and working great. They then took the time to show me some of the cool features on this unit that I would have never noticed. Very happy with the work and taking the time to help me solve my problem. Their charges for all of this work were very fair.

Santa Fe Auto put in a cd player that was already purchased elsewhere. They were also able to fix the dash assembly after a theft and get the speakers working like they should be.
