As soon as the fitting was over and the transaction was completed, Kent seemed to be disinterested in customer service, despite paying a premium. My clubs got in ~8 weeks after the fitting which was expected. However, what was not expected was Kent giving my clubs to the wrong person. He told me to come on down and pick up the clubs, and when I showed up, he said “I gave your clubs to the wrong guy. Can you come back in a few hours?” There was no explanation or apology. 3 hours later he called me to let me know they had arrived. When I picked them up, all he said was “enjoy”. Again, no apology, no explanation, and no attempt to right a wrong. When you get fitted at Club Champion, they offer free loft/lie adjustments. It’s built into the price, but there’s no way I’m going back in to work with Kent after that. I’ll consider it a sunk cost. I wrote an email to club champion about 1 month ago to discuss the poor experience and there has been no reply. There are plenty of places around town where you can get fitted for clubs. I have plenty of friends that have gone to different places and are happy with the outcome. Club champion is a little more expensive and the customer service is essentially non-existent. Go elsewhere.

I had such a great experience with Kent with my club fitting back in late 2020. I have received my P7MC irons and my whole bag of new clubs. He has helped me so much with my game/swing also! He makes time for me as I live 3 hours away to fit me into his busy schedule, weather open store early for me or whatever it may be he goes above and beyond to make my experience great!! Kent is such a great guy and has helped me so much by allowing me to use trackman to measure distances and again to help with my swing! I give Kent 5 stars for just being a very great guy!! Thank you so much Kent!!

This was my first club fitting Ive had. I am an average golfer who usually hits the course 10-15 times/year. My visit surpassed my expectations. Tyler did a great job making me feel comfortable while educating me on the Club Champion process as well as what to expect during my fitting. He educated me on the technology used and what to look for. Although my fitting was only an hour, I took a lot away from it.Tyler was friendly from the start, offered me a bottle of water and even when he was taken away to assist someone who walked in, he was able to manage my appointment, while graciously assisting the other person.I plan to make another appointment to get my irons fitted based on the huge improvement I saw with my fairway driver/hybrid fitting.

I would strongly urge anyone looking to purchase clubs from a fitter to go elsewhere. I used the location in Overland Park, KS and have been extremely disappointed, irritated and left without my clubs I paid over $1200 for in June of 2020. Getting in contact with any customer service is next to impossible. After being fitted I was told the irons I ordered would take about 6 weeks. After 3 months I still didnt have my clubs and by that time it was winter so I would call for updates every couple weeks and kept getting the same run around. In February of 2021 I received my order. After complaining about the nearly 9mo turnaround time I actually got them to ship them to me. I open the box to realize that a club is damaged, not from shipping but a defect (one they should have noticed prior to sending to me!). I call, and they said they would replace it so I drive them to return at a local golf course due to more terrible customer service. After repeated inquiries every couple weeks I finally get a response that Oh, I thought you said you were going to keep the damaged club. Hmm, yeah that makes a lot of sense after spending over $1200 right? I wait another couple months and continually reach out to the fitter for an update, because they never reach out. Finally, after reaching out on 8/15/21 Im told itll be in this week. On Thursday I double check, and on Friday I drive back to the local golf course, on my time fix their problem only to find that the club is the same damaged iron!I dont know if Ill ever get what I paid for, but hopefully I can keep at least one person from being subjected to this worthless company. Go somewhere, anywhere else! I know I will when I replace my woods this fall.

I have a couple issues with this company but first I want to say that Tyler did a great job with the fitting process. He is very friendly and easy to talk to. With that being said unfortunately my good experience ends there. I have had my clubs for a little over a year now and can’t seem to him them well. I returned to the store to have adjustments made but still can’t seem to get through an entire round hitting them the way I want. After months of frustration I decided to take them to a different club fitter. SURPRISINGLY they were not what I ordered. The easy fix was to adjust all the loft and lies again but the costly fix is having to completely take them apart and have the swing weight corrected. All my irons were ordered with a D9 swing weight turns out all of them had a swing weight of E3.Now to the outrageous pricing. Here is how club champion works. Let’s say you find a set of irons at your local golf store for $1200 but you really want a custom fit. You go to club champion get fitted for the same exact irons but discover that you hit the ball better with a different shaft. This is how the pricing will go. They will order the set of irons for the same price $1200 then charge you for the different shafts. But for $1200 the irons already had shafts. Why are we paying $1200 for something we don’t need. All you want now are the heads and the new shafts. Why can’t they just charge you for the head and new shaft? What happens to the old stock shaft you paid for? Why is there no credit for the shafts you paid for?Example: I went back to club champion this year and was fitted for a new ping driver here is the pricing breakdownDriver w/stock shaft $499New shaft $315With tax and everything it was $894.99Now, I took that build sheet to different club fitter and the total for the exact same thing was ..............$705

Tyler was great with the fitting. Honest and up front. Long game fitting.. Ended up with new shafts in my Ping G400 and Titleist 3 hybrid. 3 wood was a wash.Gained at least 20 yards and accuracy with the driver. 15 yards with the hybrid.2021 drivers were maybe 5 yards longer with the fitted shaft.Waited until I could play a few rounds with the new shafts before this review.I am impressed with the shafts on the course and will get fitted before future purchases.Club champion is not cheap. But I was contemplating a new driver for $400 and a new 3 wood at $250. Saved money. Gained distance and accuracy.

Kent worked with me for a full bag fitting. He was very professional and had a great deal of knowledge/experience with all of the products. On top of that, he was able to break down the data generated from my swing in a manner that was easy to understand. He made sure to present a wide selection of product options that were not pushed by brand or personal preference, ensuring that we found a fit that was specifically tailored to my swing and physiology. I strongly recommend using Club Champion for a fitting.

This was my first time to be properly fitted for clubs and my experience was fantastic. Tyler Beauchamp was great. He made the process fun and did a great job finding the right clubs for me.The price is higher than what you would pay at retail golf stores, but I have no problem with that. You pay for what you get and youll get a much better club by buying the clubs through them. Anyone that goes in and then complains or is surprised by the price should do their research first and understand the difference in a club from Club Champion versus the other places.I dont think I will ever buy another club from anywhere else. When I plan to buy another club I will for sure get it through Club Champion.I highly recommend this to anyone that is serious about getting a brand new club and wants to make sure they get the right club for their golf game.

When attempting to call to schedule an appointment they route you to a national number. Then, you get to sit in the que with a dozen callers ahead of you!! Not the best customer service!! Would be nice if someone in the local store was allowed to answer the local number.

Horrible place, sold us clubs that broke before finishing first round. After first agreeing to take them back they refused and would only re-shaft the clubs. Found out three months later that the entire set was upright instead of standard and all the lofts were off. The five iron was 3 degrees off. Their marketing department asked us to reach out to them, did it twice and they never responded. Do NOT buy from these guys.

Ive been playing golf since I was a child. My father gave me a golf club before I played baseball. Ive always been an off the shelf club buyer, so it took a bit of prodding by my brother-in-law to get me to agree to have a club fitting. Hes an outstanding ball striker and a really good and patient teacher. I have been away from the game for a few years so I was a little overwhelmed by the choices and methods of club fitting.I chose Club Champion based on their reputation, Golf Digest review and my brother-in-law.So I set up the appointment on-line and filled out the pre-appointment form about my goals and my game. Im 61 and at my best was around an 8. Not there any more.I arrive and was greeted by Kent, my clubfitter. After a warm up with a few shots we got right to business. I must admit I was a bit overwhelmed by the choices available to me. Kent was great to bounce things off of as we went through irons, my putter stroke, more iron play, driver shots and fairway woods and finally wedge choices. They use the Trackman system so the amount of data available for each shot is formidable.Kent was able to get me into the best clubs for my swing pretty quickly for iron play. We made a few mods to my current putter and then we looked at the long game.Went through a dizzying number of head and shaft combinations and a pattern showed itself and we made selections for Driver and fairway woods. On to wedge play. After a short tutorial on wedge technology (Im an old PW and SW guy) selected wedges and were done. Clubs arrive in a couple weeks.Might do an addendum after Ive hit them a bit
