I love Olive Trees strawberry balsamic vinegar. They truly make my salads taste so good! I just gather whatever I have in the house and make delicious salads adding the strawberry balsamic vinegar, olive oil and salt. A lot of the time when I make a salad for others with this balsamic vinegar, they always ask me what dressing I used.

The Olive Tree is my go to! Being new to cooking, the staff has always been helpful and knowledgeable so that I make informed purchases for the best results. I can truly taste the quality of their product. Not only do I enjoy their store for cooking ingredients and tools, it is perfect for hostess gifts and cooking classes. There is a ton of variety and I love that there is a focus on local items as well. I can never seem to make it out without buying something new to try! Cannot say enough good things.

What a great shop + kitchen classroom! We hosted our Holiday Party in the kitchen. Our team of 20 worked together to create a wonderful meal. Private chef Ashley Bare was our instructor, teaching us the art of making hand formed pasta. Well planned and executed--and a wonderful shopping opportunity after class! Infused oils and vinegars plus kitchen tools and gift items. I cannot offer high enough praise for people, place and experience.

I love coming to Olive Tree. My entire family is addicted to their oils and vinegars. By far this is the best in the city for gourmet finds and beautiful gifts for your foodie friends. The best part about going to Olive Tree is their knowledgeable and helpful staff. The owner is great too!! On my last visit, there was a cooking demonstration. WOW! They have a whole kitchen. I learned so much from the 10 minutes I watched. Now I’m going to start taking some of their amazing looking cooking classes. Thanks Olive Tree for providing an excellent local shopping experience.

I have been going to Olive Tree, Overland Park, KS since soon after they opened. Their products are fresh and delicious and the customer service Ive received has been exemplary! I went into the store earlier this week(May, 2017) because I needed something new, and talked to Ali. He was such fun and helped me select a new vinegar to try on salads and other foods. Mindy hires such fun and helpful folks; she has done such a wonderful job in growing her business. She obviously cares for the customers and goes out of her way to make sure they are well taken care of. Ive been in other oil and vinegar shops in the past but Mindy and her smile keep me coming back!

If you are looking for the finest olive oil and balsamic, look no further. This is my absolute favorite store for flavored oils and vinegars. The olive oil is 100% real, no additives, the best you can buy, none of the FAKE oil that other stores carry. How do I know? I am Sicilian and use this authentic oil to cook with. I know the difference. The balsamic are so flavorful. I love this store so much I teach cooking classes here. Take my suggestion and go there NOW!!!

I am in this store at least twice a month. I like to give these wonderful high quality olive oils and balsamic vinegars as gifts. When given as gifts the recipients have let me know how much they enjoyed using what I gave them. I use and enjoy around 30 of these vinegars and olive oils. I also enjoy going to the cooking classes offered at this store. I have learned a lot of cooking tips and have some great new recipes from these classes which are taught by local chefs. I recommend this store to all of my friends. I have always found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.

I love the oils, vinagers and other specialty food items. They recently started selling a smoked maple syrup. I love it in my bourbon Manhattan instead of bitters. I recommend you stop in and try some samples.

If you could give no stars, I would. Visited this place for the first time and the lady behind the counter was so RUDE! I then find out the lady is the owner! Do yourself a favor and go to The Tasteful Olive in downtown OP if you want top notch service and a better selection to choose from.

This is one of our favorite stores. Their Olive Oils and Vinegars are of excellent quality and distinctly superior to any other that weve found available in the area. While there are many choices, and even more combinations, our favorite is the plain balsamic vinegar (great as a salad dressing) and the Habanero Oil (which is very spicy, but wonderful). The staff is both helpful and fun, and makes it enjoyable to stop in to shop or just taste.

I went in to purchase truffle oil from a reputable fine oils shop in Leawood. The employee who assisted me pointed me to a bottle of black truffle label olive oil. I didnt pay much attention as I was in a hurry but I assure you, this particular product is extremely overpriced for the potency if youre looking for any truffle flavor to be imparted on your food. Shame on me for not being more aware of what I was purchasing. Ill make sure it doesnt occur again. Hope this helps future customers looking for what I explicitly asked for when I walked in.

The wide array of balsamic vinegar flavors has helped me get more into salad. I need to eat more salad for health reasons and it is well worth the money to get a special vinegar! The fig and the peach are 2 of my favorites!

The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. The quality of the products, especially the olive oils and balsamics is superior. I love that they have suggestions for combinationa and usage and that they also proudly carry local products. If you want to up your cooking game or pick up a great gift for a food fan this is the spot....and the classes they hold featuring various KC Area chefs and food personalities are always a great time.

They have flavors of balsamic vinegar that I never thought were possible. My favorite is the honey ginger.

I went in to browse the store and was seriously thinking about buying something... but then I met the lady behind the counter. She was RUDE! When I walked in she came out of the back aggetitated and acted like I was an inconvenience to her, and I wasnt a serious costumer . When I asked about the products they had, she was cold and unresponsive. Even worse, after I left she watched me get in my car and drive away. I wont be back.

My friend and I took a macaron class taught by JC Gregg and we were very disappointed. The class was $55 per person and you didnt make a single thing. You were given a packet with the recipes and got to try some of his macarons but it was JUST A DEMO. Each person got to pipe a few macarons but you were not involved in the process of making them. We sat at tables watching the tv screen in front of us of what he was doing. It felt like all he wanted to do was brag about himself and how he was on tv (for two episodes). He would just talk and add stuff to the mixing bowls but not tell us what he was going. He showed the classic method and his method but his didnt seem to work. Very disappointed and absolutely NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

If I had room to give 10 STARS I would. I met the owner of this store and instantly fell in love with her, the staff, and of course...the product! We moved from Arizona where we had an exceptional olive oil store that we purchased from. We were looking for a really good quality product locally in KC to replace what we had been used to. We cant stop buying Olive Trees products! We are so excited each time we go to the store to see what new flavors of olive oils, balsamic, and local products they are carrying in the store. Weve completely replaced all other oils in our home and use only Olive Tree Olive Oil. I love that the staff is open to suggestions and carrying new products.
