I needed some parts for a rail system I am installing in my meat shop. They only had 1 hanger bracket in stock. I asked Tony, their rep, if he could find a way to get my order out ASAP. He told me he could speak with his manufacturer and have them ship direct from their warehouse. That way they would get me the product and still make their $. I was happy to support their business and appreciated their time. I had spoken to the manufacturer of the bracket as well and they told me they could also send out the bracket ($4 less per bracket) in the same time frame. I told him I would let him know if Hantover had any issues with filling the order on their end. Hantover assured me they didn’t so I proceeded. It turns out they were not able to fill my order because Tony didn’t have The manufacturer ship the product direct as he said they would. Instead of shipping last Friday they won’t ship till Wednesday of this week. Long story short I won’t get my parts in time to set up the rail and although they offered a half-a$$ apology they said they would not help pay for an expedited delivery. So THEY screwed up, acknowledged it and did nothing to address the problem. Absolutey awful.
