I have been coming in here for years always been a good place to shop for what I need however never have I had someone show me the kindness and just pure heart like this new lady. I have come in to the store everyday just to get inspired by her. She is a fantastic addition to the store. Very kind, caring, even prayed for me. I look forward to shopping more often with her there she is always towards the back part of the registers little shoulder length red head.

I love going here, everyone is pretty much family because the vibes. The employees are in good moods, very helpful, and the customers (majority) are nice. I sometimes go to just browse, with maybe an impulse buy. [Teehee]

Purchased a variety of plants, geraniums, vegetables, herbs, seeds & bulbs on this trip.. their pricing is reasonable and the plants are healthy and good quality.. have always been pleased with past plant purchases. This store has a wide variety of high quality reasonably priced items for yard, garden, home & farm needs.. The staff is always friendly, the store is well organized, stocked and relatively clean. They have many items that you cant find just anywhere.

I am a Mom to many Cats and other animals and I get my Animals their Supplies at Rural King every month and I am Happy with the prices and the customer service 🐈.

Loved the Store. Well organized. Fair prices for most items accept for the garden items. Nothing was priced and there was 25% off sign but No actual prices. Would have been easier and bought more if I could have found prices.Loved the Item Selection tho!

Was there for one item. I found it on my own. The cashier was not very happy. Not a hello. Not a goodbye. Not a bag. Not a receipt. Not a smile. Not eye contact. I bagged it. Got my receipt myself. Wow. May not go back.

Not once have i ever went into this store n got my belongings without a problem usually the merchandise NEVER rings up what the shelf advertised. Then have to get back in line for refund n some of the cashiers here arent the friendliest

Great store to buy almost anything from hardware, guns clothing automotive to pets or livestock supplies.

Found a whole shelf of trail cams that where marked as $59. I even asked the guy working there if they was the price he said yes. At checkout it rang up as $119. The assistant manager would not even call back to check just told me the price would be what rang up.

Just a little hint...it would be great if you would train every employee on the cash register so that you never get lines through the isles. That way when lines are backing up you can call all employees that arent helping customers to jump on a register. 😀 We waited 20 min in line to be checked out.

Well stocked. Got exactly what I went for!

I had a simple exchange but not a receipt, they refused to exchange boots that were the wrong size. I tried to speak to a manager and was never contacted back. These boots were a gift sent from out of town and I was treated unfairly.

I ordered online and although I had to wait a couple of days to find out if they could fill the order, everything was good. Real nice store with a big inventory.

Cashier needs to be reprimanded for arguing with customer about correct change when she was wrong. At least make sure they can count before hiring them.

I could get lost in this place. Probably would have if it wasnt for one of the employees that obviously thought I was stealing some of their merchandise. But no wasnt stealing just simply could not find what I was looking for because of the mess and most unorganized plumbing supplies.

Bought a utility trailer. Waiting FOREVER to get someone to come out to unlock it so we could leave. Well I ended up going into the store asking for a refund because an hour wait is ridiculous. There was this lady at the front desk who immediately got someone to bring a title and she personally walked out to unlock it so we could leave. However I wont be going back there. The lady at the front was the only nice helpful person we saw. And the only one who acted like she knew what she was doing.

I was so disappointed In their false advertisement This has been an ongoing thing with the Better Business Bureau Yesterday I found out for myself went into the store to get something and Ill show you a picture of their false advertisement

Evidently they have nobody in there hardware department. Asked another employee about some things and he went to check so he said. Found him right back where he was in the first place never went to check or come back with an answer.

Very good layout. Staff was very polite &helpful for me knowing what I was looking for.Nice access oft the highway. Parking lot & store very clean.Clerk at the checkout was helpful to ring up my items & did everything I could ask for.Will come back when Im in town again.

If it werent for the product they sell, some of the product, I wouldnt shop there . Hard to find someone to help you and when you finally do find someone they have no clue . They know nothing about the products they sell . Fake it to make it . I gave them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they were new or wasnt their department. But when the guy and then the girl both said yeah I know exactly what youre looking for and how it works 😠 youd think they did, right. Nope . Even the assistant manager had no clue . Almost sold me the wrong connector, assured me it was the correct one . NOT ...I mean if you dont know, say so . Dont lie . Good way to loose customers.

Went to a couple different places before I went to rural King just to get some bolts nobody else had them but rural King did!!

Great items and prices! Friendly service but the lengthy credit card sales pitch a random associate stops me with is kinda annoying.

Placed an online order ( 8 am) for over $1000 in fencing materials. All showed in stock. Around 3pm we called to see if order was ready, they said no but come down and start grabbing what you need. When we got there we found they had sold our rolls of fence to someone else that day and were now out of stock. Reordered at tractor supply, they had order picked in 30 minutes and didnt sell it to someone else.

Rural King is messy and hard to navigate.Tractor Supplys customer service is way better.

Cashiers are very very slow. Do not even bag things for you. I do believe they are robots. They need a self check or a scan and go.

I bought 2 coleman 4 wheelers. They were rode less than 20 minutes and had to go back to store mechanic. Mechanic kept them about 5 days. Got them home and the mechanical trouble continued. After several more trips. Rural king said they would call and exchange them. I never got a call. I went by there and ask about getting my money back. After waiting several hours in the store I finally got to talk to female manager. She said I could only exchange them. I called coorperate on speaker so she could hear. They said she absolutely could refund my money. I would have been happy with a rural king gift card. There were 2 four wheelers out front, both had busted fenders, I have pics. We got them home and all the mechanical trouble continued. I went back to rural king and was told sorry about your luck.Axel was bent, e brake broke, air filter fell off, gas tank falling off, chains kept falling off, broke chain after falling off, front wheels were pointed in opposite directions. I have an exact list. These four wheelers are defective and dangerous for children to ride. I bought them for my two grandchildren ages 10.I will never go back to rural king. I do animal rescue and was getting all my supplies there, around 300.00 a month.The manager was very very rude I highly dont recommend owensboro kentucky rural king.

I used to LOVE this store! Now in the tool section there are alarms that go off every time your in the isle. Loud ear piercing. I could barely talk to the employee assisting me. Honestly I dont know how they can work there now. I probably wont return. Tractor Supply here I come.

The staff here are always friendly and willing to help you find something if you look a little lost in their huge store! Inside, you can pretty much find a little bit of everything: food, cleaning supplies, gardening implements, clothes & shoes, pet accessories and of course, lots of super cute, live baby duckies and baby chicks. Outside too contains a plethora of merchandise like canoes, kayaks, large farm & gardening equipment, as well as the occasional visit from the fish truck.( For those who have never seen it, the fish truck is a treat. A giant multi-sectioned aquarium on wheels that holds baby fish for people who want to stock their lake or pond. The usual suspects included on the fish menu are bluegill, catfish, big & smallmouth bass, grass carp, large koi, brown trout, & crappie. Its like winning a goldfish at the fair; you give your order, pay, and get little water-filled bags swimming with baby fish in return. Its super awesome!)I give Rural King 4 stars rather than 5 due to the pricing. While many items are fairly priced(some more than fairly), many others are priced unnecessarily far above their competitors. Unfortunately, these seem to be items used by most people on a regulr basis (Tide, Purina, Lysol, etc). It seems as if they are hiking up the price on sure seller staples, which to me kind of cuts close to the price gouging line.

Store seems to have stocking issues. The store is also a bit understaffed, but that is everywhere these days.

I love shopping at lowes. Very satisfied.

Owensboro has a big store and doesnt seem as cluttered as others I have been to

Out of almost every item I was looking for as well as another shopper there in same area found out. Lines slow. Store dirty compared to several years ago. I was needing canning lids and bands and another shopper was looking for a tomato mill with crank.

I always enjoy going into Rural King. Theyve got such interesting & different stuff.

First time in a Rural King. Absolutley blown away by the selection of things you could buy. From tools, home decor, flooring, plumbing, to firearms. I loved that place. Although, it didnt have exactly what I was looking for, I was able to buy something else and make it work.

Best place in town to buy nuts and bolts. They sell by the pound instead of in little packages that are overpriced.

Love this store. They have everything I need. This is the only place I can find salted caramel moon pies

Staff was available and knew where I needed to go to get what I was looking for,willing to help. Check out back up was quickly address and wait time was only about 5 min. I like this friendly hands on store. Clearance sales are always good and varied to include multiple departments.

I’ve seen cockroaches all around the place, the popcorn was burned, I saw multiple spider webs around the store the dog food was open and on the ground as well which most likely attracted the roaches it was over all gross

The staff there is always helpful and respectful. Most people know what they are looking for, but for those that need assistance all you got to do is ask.

I went in there a few.nights ago to get some cat food that I cant really find anywhere else except petsmart and a vets office. This was the closest and still open at the time of me going. I figured while I am that close to the chickens and rabbits to look at them. I saw this rabbit in really poor condition. Like on its way to the pearly gates kind of bad. I went to go get someone, because there was also some kids around the area. I use to work at a RK before in a different state, I know they have little areas specifically for sick/in poor condition live animals. The old man that went there to help me said, and I quote a kid got in there a week ago and accidentally stepped on its leg and snapped it in half. I had to ask to make sure I heard him right, and he said it again. So instead of taking this poor rabbit to the back to be out of the eye of the public they just decided to keep it there and ignore him. NEVER, and I mean NEVER have I seen such cruelty in my life from a store that sells pets!! I know sometimes over feeding them timothy hay can clog them up to the point that they dont eat and die from not being able to poop out the clog and the lack of eating. BUT TO KNOWING LET AN ANIMAL WITH A BROKEN LIMB JUST HOBBLE IN THE CAGE WITH NO ONE EVEN TRYING TO TAKE CARE OF IT AND LET IT DIE FROM PAIN IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! And I know my lack of business there isnt going to change much. But let me tell you I will share this with everyone I know and tell them that the old man said he is just going to let him stay there in that cage until someone buys him or until he dies.
