I cant complain about the place, they are able to get me the cards I need.Was unaware of the new style of getting lists pulled and was met with hesitation over 1 expensive card I needed.

Very weird environment is the best way to put it. People would give me weird looks when i asked them questions and be rather rude or short in their responses. It also felt like i was being watched while I browsed around. I hadnt been in the shop in a couple years and it definitely reminded me again why I havent been back. They do have a decent setup, but I wasnt very uncomfortable the whole time I was in there looking, so i probably wont be back.

A lot of board games, MTG cards and accessories, Warhammer 40k and AOS selection is great. A little bit of Kill Team, War Cry, and Flesh and Blood cards. They do have gaming tables, and comic books as well.

For those interested in Pokémon, the store prices are ridiculous! Literally, double the price you can find on eBay! Wow!

They were able to answer all my questions and were super nice. I appreciate all of the time they spent helping me and my friends.

Ordered over $100 in cards and never received them through TCGPlayer. Similar negative reviews were posted so I guess I should have done my homework prior to ordering. Still no response from the seller. Last time I do business with Legit MTG.

Was very organized, staff very friendly and helpful. I was able to go in and look around and the staff helped me find exactly what I was wanting. Also told me that there are game nights and even beginner players are gladly welcomed thought.

I cant in good conscience recommend a company that employs illegal mailing practices. They sent my cards through media mail, a service that forbids trading cards from being sent that way. It made the package super late, and if it had been inspected it either would have been sent back or more likely the additional shipping costs would have fallen to me. Media mail is frequently searched to make sure its its being used legally, which can lead to damaged product. I tried to contact the retailer but I got no response. This is not the way to run a large retailer and I recommend finding a less shady store for your hobby products.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! I ordered some Pokemon cards via their Amazon site & they NEVER CAME!!! I kindly wrote 2 them NUMEROUS times and the ONLY response I get is covid delays & they want me 2 return the items I never got or no refund. Theyre literally playing dumb & sending the same msg over and over! It should NOT take a month 2 get 2 pks of cards!!! Ive never dealt with ANYONE like this... WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I WONT STOP UNTIL I GET MY CARDS OR $ BACK!!!

They always have what I need and know their inventory very well. I am also impressed by how large their gaming area is. Their employees also have long history with MTG and able to answer any questions, especially for some one new like myself.

Whatever you do, do not order from them online. Absolutely horrible customer service. Shipped package through wrong service and now Im out 80 bucks because the post office doesnt have it(which when contacted the store said that they had talked to the post office and the package was waiting for me...and after checking with USPS myself found out that was a lie.

Bought an Oloro Precon from my LGS for $80 and came to this store to check out prices and it was $120 for the same thing!?!? That is insane markup and there’s no reason for it. I get dragon shields for $10 at my LGS and they start at $12 here. The staff are nice enough but I feel like the store is taking advantage of people. I hate not being able to support local but at the money I saved from buying elsewhere I’m already half way to getting an entire new precon.

Hands down the best gaming store anywhere. Dont be shy, ask for help, the staff is used to people not wanting to be asked for help as they have many people come in just to play games they have previously purchased.Plenty of seating, great prices, and some very good hard to find games and collectible cards.

TL;DR - Store didnt open on time, employee lied about price over the phone previous day, but the only place in town to have specific item.This store only gets two stars for at least being the only place in town (to my knowledge) for having the product I was looking for. When you own a business, if you set operating hours, it should be obvious to stick to them and get there before time to open the doors. Sure, I understand life happens and issues come up, but to keep a prospective customer waiting 20 minutes past opening is unacceptable. No big deal, I let it slide.HOWEVER, what I WONT let slide is being lied to. I called the day before a specific item was set to release to ask if theyd have them in the following morning, and when they said they would I asked how much it would be, I was told a specific price which was pretty much the MSRP, which I was happy to pay. I get there this morning (9/20/19), and when they FINALLY show up to open the store, I explain who I was and the gentleman seemed to know what I was talking about, it even sounded like the person I talked to on the phone yesterday.As Im about to pay for the item, he tells me the price and I internally flip out as it was marked up nearly $40 above MSRP. And I was given the general this is what theyre currently going for line, when clearly there were places online selling the same thing for cheaper prices. However, after an awful online ordering experience when it comes to TCG items, I prefer to buy them directly in the store. After calling some of the major retailers to find out they didnt have this item, I decide to bite the bullet and pay the extra. Just based on this experience, it was my first, and will be my LAST time shopping here.

A group of friends and I have been going here for years and I see us going for more years to come, some employees can be difficult at times but overall its one of the best places in Owensboro KY to buy Magic: The Gathering singles and packs, Dungeons and Dragons products, Warhammer & Warhammer 40k products, etc. I recommend Legit MTG to anyone looking for nerdy stuff around Owensboro.

Great prices on ding and dent board games. Decent prices on new board games. Small (though varied) selection but its obviously not their focus.

Got a grab bag from these guys online. Advertised that it would be a mix of uncommon and rares. Everything was unplayable stuff, only a single rare, would not buy from them again. I know grab bag deals are usually bad, but this was especially bad... I guess I expected too much, but two or three playable cards would have been nice.Othereise, technically as described. I got 50 uncommon to rare cards.

As a long time buyer from LegitMTG, Ive learned this is the go to place for all of your Magic: The Gathering and Warhammer 4k needs. But really they have it all. Board games, D&D, Arcade Games, Air Hockey, Private Rooms, and a Pool Table. They also host events and Friday Night Magic. Plus they just moved to new location. And as much as I will miss the nostalgia for the old location, the new one is spacious, well lit, and has multiple restrooms. If you are looking for a nerd hangout, a place to pick up the latest card/RPG book set, or simply wanting a place for family game night; LegitMTG is Owensboros go to.

⚠️ WARNING - DO NOT BUY MTG products here. I’d give 0 stars if possible. Bought from them on Amazon and received an already opened “sealed” prerelease kit for core2020. Absolute trash, it had wonky second rate sealer on it and was obviously tampered with before they shipped it. Have a disputed with amazon as they tried to not refund my full amount.
