When I had my first visit to Gilberts I arrived 15 minutes prior to closing. The employees didnt make me feel rushed at all and helped me with my purchase with total professionalism and kindness. I was so intrigued with the store that I came back the next day. Im a senior so Ive seen a lot of different stores over the years and spent most of my working days in retail. It is so rare to find stores like this in todays world. The lovely people that work there and their large array of products sold make this my new GO TO store. I have stores very close to where I live, but will drive the extra miles to shop here. Its definitely worth it. Great store.

The appliance department at Gilbert’s is awesome! I have been there three times and each time the experience gets better! They are small but have a good selection of all appliances and their prices are extremely competitive. Kyle was my salesperson this time and he was super nice, not pushy at all, very helpful and told me about a refrigerator in the back with a tiny dent on the side and reduced the price by $50. If you’re tired of giving your money to big box stores, go to a Gilbert’s and you won’t be disappointed!

Bought a Speed Queen washer here! Called on Sat June 26 to see if they had some in stock (hard to find these days) and sure enough they did. Made the 45 min drive there and found a neat store. Debbie, the sales associate for appliances, was very helpful! Very friendly and answered all our questions. Easy transaction and easily loaded into our truck. Very satisfied!

For the first time I found something I needed that they didnt have. The sales person didnt give up on it, he searched the store looking and couldnt find it. (No one else had it either) excellent place to do business, would recommend to anyone

I always have the easiest time getting around in here, and when necessary, there always seems to be plenty of help around to get me what I need. For my most recent trip, a man named Patrick did a stellar job setting me up with a new washing machine at the end of May. Tori at the front register was also super friendly and that goes a long way with small businesses.I definitely recommend stopping by Gilberts first for your hardware/appliance needs before looking anywhere else!Its been a few weeks and my wife is constantly stating how much she loves our new washer.

This is a great place to shop for major appliances. The salespeople are friendly and knowledgeable, but never pushy. They often have the appliance you select in stock and able to be delivered in less than a week.

Ive been to Gilberts multiple times for random issues and the service has always been exemplary. Their inventory is impressive and their prices are competitive with big box stores. Definitely a local store worth visiting!

Always helpful. I love stopping in when Im working on a project for a client. They always have what I need, offer suggestions on how to make it easier. Working with them is always a pleasure. They give you that small town feel the moment you walk in. I attached some projects they helped me with.

They have EVERYTHING from keys to washers and Dryers.if they dont have what you need, then it hasnt been made. Nuts, bolts, screws, fasteners, clips, tools and as an added bonus filled with customer friendly knowledgeable staff at the ready to assist you in whatever project you may have. No surprise why this store is up and running and giving the big outlets a Black Eye.

Gilberts Delivery Guys were Awesome Today for Delivering My New Appliances and Setting Them Up For Me. Gilberts Will Always Get My Business Now, I honestly was gonna buy from Home Depot, but The Guy there aka Jim Brant couldnt get me what I wanted until the middle of August and some stuff wasnt guaranteed any delivery time, so before you go to the Big Box Stores to buy your Appliances, may I say Shop @ Your Local Hometown, I also wanted to note, I even got a few sales on some stuff so I bought extra stuff for my money. So Thank You Debbie Beamish and Gilberts of Owosso MI for Great Service.

Knowledgeable service. My husband and I are renovating our house, for the past 3 years we have received consistent, friendly knowledgeable advice on how to tackle everything from plumbing to putting in a new floor. The staff had recommendations for the best paint to use on a cast iron tub, inside kitchen drawers and outside for painting a screen door. Anytime we are unsure what the best way to tackle a project is, we visit Gilberts first. On top of this, their products are outstanding. We have tried a few different types of paint over the years, and so far nothing compares to the tone, finish quality and lack of smell of Pratt and Lambert and their do it best porch and floor enamel. Also, if you show up on a good day, their bird might even say hi and let you pick him up. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Great job to the whole team at Gilberts!

Theres a bird with clipped wings in the store.Birds need to be able to fly, dont get one if you cant let them do thatThe type of bird it is(Cockatiel) shouldnt be kept alone either

I love shopping here. This morning I stopped in to grab a couple bags of ice melt. I was immediately greeted by more than one person. I used my most recent reward card and got an extra $5 off, sweet.Then Todd grabbed the two bags and asked where I would like them so I told him to just throw them on my back seat on top of my coat.I get to the gas station and go to remove the bags so I can grab my coffee mug which I had left on my coat and assumed was now under the bags of ice melt. NOPE, not only did he move my coffee mug and set it aside, he also set my Bible aside before putting the bags in. Keep in mind he did it while only wearing his Gilberts polo with two bags in one arm and its literally freezing outside this morning. Totally awesome!

Would rate 5 star, but my only problem is that one of there employees is unprofessional and does not like it when you agree with his opinions

Well i cant say Ive ever been here but I can definitely tell you I will not be giving them my business. I called them and talked very clearly not slurring words or talking fast or anything. Told the lady who answered the phone that, Im looking for C clamps that are used to hold down a truck bed capper. She paused for a bit before saying something i find rather strange, I dont have no clue what the first item you said is but we do have C clamps. Like really miss are you high at work? There wasnt two items only one other than me saying what they are for so you knew what I was talking about. Like seriously....truck cappers and C clamps have been around forever. Person must live in a hole or not know English well.

We bought all of our kitchen appliances from Gilbert’s when we bought our house 3 years ago. They have been my go to solution for my hardware needs ever since we moved here 3 years ago. Great service.

I used Gilbert’s appliance repair since I felt I had no choice. Owosso really has no real other company for that. I was pleasantly surprised. They scheduled me quickly. Arrived on time. Fixed my dishwasher with in about 20 minutes. We’re polite. Didn’t leave a mess. Price was probably ok for having absolutely no competition in the area. I thought it was a bit high for only charging for service as my dishwasher needed no parts. Overall I am satisfied with their service.

Friendly staff were more than willing to help us find what we needed. They have a little bit of everything here. Was able to get hardware for my trailer, supplys for my garden and stuff for my chicken coop in one trip!
