Brandon provided exceptional customer service at my visit with Tire Choice. Despite the fact that they were short staffed at the time when I came in, he still spent the necessary time trying to get me the best deal on the best tire as quickly as possible. I’ve had bad experiences dealing with other tire places in the past so this was a nice change of pace and they have earned my business from now on!

We were passing through Ohio so we were totally from out of town. We had a flat and we’re very fortunate to be close enough to limp in on the spare. Brandon helped us and was amazing. We were able to get two new tires less than 45 min and be on our way again. Their customer service was amazing and it was wonderful to have a little ice cream shop across the street for the short time we waited. Super good spot. Wish they were in our hometown.

I stopped in on a Wednesday evening around 530 and within about 40 minutes they found and repaired a slow leak in my tire. They were quick, professional and friendly. Ill be back again if I ever have troubles with my tires! I like that they were open past 5 so I could go after work and I was able to walk to places to kill time shopping while I waited. Recommended!

My son had a flat tire while away at college. He took his car to Tire Choice Auto Service Center in Oxford Ohio. Torrance the manager and his technician Brandon were very accommodating. His vehicle was taken back and service completed in less than 20 minutes. Torrance was very friendly and knowledgeable. I asked for a quote for additional services, and felt that his effort was genuine with no pressure or upsell. We will definitely return for this service. A RIPOFFI went in because my car was quickly losing brake fluid. Its an old car, and Ive had to replace portions of the brake line before, so I assumed I had another brake line leak. So for starters, they charge money just to check your car, I didnt think much of it so I paid the 35 dollars and assumed I was in good hands. They called me back and told me it was the brake proportional valve. Since they didnt have the part for my car they needed to get back to me on pricing. So I looked up the price of the part, the average cost for my car, etc. They immediatly charged an extra 100 dollars for a 175 dollar part, and quoted me 617 for the whole job (200 more than industry pricing) and refused to tell me how much of that charge was for labor. I called three other mechanics in town, each quoted me between 300 to 400 AND told me it was HIGHLY UNLIKELY that my brake proportional valve needed to be replaced.I took it to another mechanic and it turns out my brake lines were leaking through a fitting that wasnt fastened properly. It cost less to have that tightened than it did to get my car checked at tires choice. Its a month later and no more fluid leaks.... no thanks to tires choice.

Joey was outstanding. He worked with both me and my girlfriend to get us the best deal on significant repairs. Throughout the process he was both honest and considerate of our financial situation when he could have easily taken advantage of us as many have in the past. I went here after discovering a nail in one of my tires. The staff here examined whether a repair would be possible and concluded that the tire would need to be replaced. Rather than replacing the tire immediately, Car-X called to ask if I had purchased insurance for the tires when I had bought them from Tire Discounters. I came from out of town (1+20 drive one way) to get my daughters tire fixed (it went flat while parked at Miami Univ). I called Car-X early this morning and Joey, the store manager, told me to swing by and he would take a look. I stopped in about 2 mins before closing as the oil shield on my car was hanging down, Joey immediately looked at my car and took care of putting it back in place so I did not have to drive 30 miles back to the car deal ship where I just recently bought the car. Got a new tire on in less than thirty minutes, from walking in to driving away, at the end of the work day. Kind, efficient, and knowledgeable service. Got to work on my car immediately. Non-judgmental towards a customer who doesnt know anything about tires! :) fair price, no sketchiness. Plus the waiting area has a bathroom, comfy chairs, phone chargers, and vending machines while you wait.

What lifesavers!!! I went to a different auto shop three times for a tire repair/fix and they never really told me what was wrong but I spend at least 150 or more in repairs. My tires kept deflating and I didn’t know what to do. I went to Car-X instead on a whim and not only did they patch my tires, but they educated me on what was going on and actually showed me the issues instead of asking for a check. I plan on going back when my tires need to be fixed! Thank you so much!

I had another mechanic tell me I needed a whole bunch of stuff for my brakes. I took my vehicle here to get a second opinion. They did a free inspection on my car to help me out and it turns out I didn’t need everything the other guy said I did! They were completely truthful, informative, and helpful. They had a great team that helped me get the repairs I actually needed! I won’t be taking my car any where else but here from now on!!

My daughters car has been driving funny and I thought it was the brakes. I dropped it off to get brakes and they called me and said the brakes were fine. All it needed was an alignment and the tires balanced. An honest shop is hard to find these days. Thumbs up!!

I got a full set of all season tires and they were very helpful all the way through the process. They were informative and courteous while making the appointment, dropping my car off overnight, timeliness of the service, all the way up to picking my car up. They even sent a text to me when my car was ready! They also offered a lot of future services at little to no cost for the life of my tires! And they are detail oriented and gave me a copy of my receipt for a rebate from my tire brand 👍😁 my boyfriend was also with me and had questions about work on his car and all of his questions were answered right there with a smile and they werent trying to rush us out of the shop like so many other shops Ive been to. We will definitely be bringing both of our cars here for all future maintenance!

This is our third car for them to work on, great job every time! Our kids are going to Miami.They were so truthful about what the car actually needed and what I could wait on.Another shop in Oxford said I needed new front brakes and I had just replaced them. Scott and crew did a full inspection FOR FREE and found I had a bad “caliper” in the rear. My front brakes were fine.I work at GE and will be forwarding my compliments along to my coworkers.

Great Service. I did some work myself but being away from home I can only do so much. Having a BMW it is difficult to work on let alone diagnose, and when it wouldnt start a number of issues came to mind. So I got the car towed to Spring Street, was quoted a very high number for the work. Then I stopped into Pohlman, and was quoted roughly 2/3 the price of the competitors, and 2/3 the price for the part as well, which is the main reason you cannot beat the price when its almost half of any competitor. (Always get written quotes from everywhere first). When I decided to go with this option, they offered and helped push my in the cold from across the street and down to their place instead of me paying for a tow which above and beyond. They then did the work very quickly, gave an inspection assessment with picture proof of each issue and emailed it to me to do any work I wanted to later or to have it brought in. So for a substantially lower price, great work, friendly help, and was able to get work done extremely quickly I cant ask for more. As someone who likes to work on his own car, I appreciated the .pdf of the full inspection and email updates. Couple that with the warranty on parts and labor, Id definitely recommend them to anybody and go back if I needed anything else done. Thanks guys I appreciated the help.

Pohlman always has outstanding customer service. I have been having routine car serving at Pohlman for nearly two years. A few noteworthy things they do is to put a sticker in the windshield to remind you of your next oil change, they pull my car right out front of the door when it is finished so it is waiting for me, they have allowed me to reschedule appointments with no fuss, and are very customer centered. They certainly go above and beyond and I will keep going back!

I’ve been there twice, and they perfectly helped me with fixing and checking the car. It’s very convenient and easy to finish the process.

Something under my car started rattling and Joey and the other guys were able to get my car looked at in between appointments that day. My exhaust pipe and muffler were so rusted it broke it half and they removed it for me for no charge! They even gave me whatever parts were salvageable in a plastic bag for me to give to a mechanic when I get it fixed. They are all extremely nice and professional and I will definitely be going back whenever I need work done during the school year.

Visiting in town from NY, my second visit to Pohlman tire in 3 years. First experience was great, however, this time was less enjoyable.I came in with a bubble on the front passenger tire that needed replacing before the drive back to NY and despite relentless pressure from the salesman Scott to replace all 4 tires with an alignment I persisted to only get the 1 tire and go on my way.I understood his concern and pressure to have all tires replaced. I clearly had alignment issues leading to the uneven wear on all 4 tires, but expressed that I wanted to do it back home. This is not the reason for the low rating.The low rating is a result of the increased pricing placed on my bill after I only wanted one tire. My final bill was $150.18 with taxes and fees for the one run-flat tire. After leaving, I received a call that the TPMS sensor was broken to pieces and $76 for the part. Okay fine.When I came for pickup, a different kid at the register gave me the final bill stated $283. I spent more time then I would have liked questioning the bill and why my original bill of $150.18 + $76 = $226.18 was instead $283? He eventually agreed and dropped the additional charge. Very frustrating in the end.

My visit with Jeff Pohlman Tire and Auto Services was a great experience. From the time that walked into the store, I was treated very good. They answered all my questions about tires and this made my selection from the tires in the range that I was looking for very easy to do.Once I made the selection on the tires that I wanted they proceeded to prepare a the quote for the tires and set up a day and time for the installation.When I arrived to get the tires installed, they promptly took my keys and started the installation. While I was waiting they reminded me that there was coffee and water to make the wait more comfortable. My sons car is an old (1993) Chevy and we did some of the work on our own. We needed an alignment that was all...sounds simple right...but every where else we go tries to sell us on things...all kinds of things...we just asked for it and got it simple but it was fantastic and you should go there.

My brake light was out on my 1998 Chrysler Concorde and I went to Autozone first and they said that it was some kind of electrical issue and I would probably have to go somewhere to get it fixed and most likely have to pay for it but then I went to Jeff Pohlman Tire & Auto Service (Car-X Tire & Auto) and LITERALLY within MINUTES they switched the bulb and fixed it for me FOR FREE and filled my tires with air!!!!!! SHOUTOUT to RON and SEAN for being the true OGs and hooking a sister up. I am a college student and money is tight for me so I very much appreciated their GREAT, FAST SERVICE and INTELLIGENCE. I taken my cars here to get their oil changed while Im here for school and they do not use generic filters on my synthetic oil change Which is great and how it should be versus other shops in the area and their prices are reasonable. My most recent visit I took my outback there to have an engine light looked at but unfortunately they were unable solve the problem because it delt with the ECU (computer) and they didnt want to make assumptions on what to fix in fear of wrongful charges on repais so they referred me to the Subaru dealer. they did not charge me anything for them to look at it and try it to diagnose the problem. In my experience with them they were very honest and upfront with me which is hard to find nowadays.
