I visit your store on September 4th 2021. Was greeted by Jessica. I informed her that I needed three or four items. She helped me find everything that I needed. She asked if I had any discount coupons which I forgot I received in the mail. She was able to save me $5. My overall experience was outstanding. I really like to support local businesses and Ace Hardware is one of those businesses. Well done Jessica, thank you for all the help!!

Amazing customer service. Has everything you could ever want, and if not, they will order it for you. Great alternative to Home Depot or Lowe’s or Menards.

Had ordered a part that came in. The past wad exactly what I had ordered. Its nothing exciting unless youve been looking at hole in the wall for several weeks. I searched the kingdom trying to find one and finally ordered it from my trusty Ace Hardware

I needed a specialized piece of copper tubing for a research application, and Don was extremely helpful in building it and helping me find the right pieces, he spent around 2 hours total working with me on it over 2 days. What an awesome store!

A friend recommended an Echo chainsaw for some trees to be removed from the property. He worked for a landscape business. Went to Ace explaining that I knew nothing about chainsaws but told them an Echo was recommended. I looked at the saws and settled on an 18 inch on sale. The woman who helped me was very informative about the product and helped me select other needed items. I was impressed and will choose to go there for the personal service rather than a big box stores

I have always had great service at ACE. I find the staff very helpful and knowledgeable. I wish they had a better selection of planters, but in general this is a good store.

It’s hard to find a “mom and pop” hardware store anymore, but this Ace might be as close as it gets. It’s exactly what Oxford needs. Walk in and you’ll be greeted with someone who is happy to help you look for what you need. Not sure what you need? Let them know what you’re working on, and one of the staff will help you figure something out.While you’re here, you’ll get the sense that everyone kind of knows everybody. Smiles, casual chatting, and personalized service make Ace a winner. Ingrid is a standout...always friendly, and nice to talk to.This is where I go to get my propane tanks refilled, and go get plumbing and electrical equipment, tools, lumber, and more.

If you need hardware fast this a good place to stop. You will pay more for the convenience than you will at the big stores on most items. Employees are friendly and helpful.

This store is incredible: They treat everyone as friends in need of service. They are knowledgeable and extremely free with imparting hints and tricks to get the job done. They have saved me a great deal of time and money on projects that I would otherwise be hesitant to tackle by myself. This store has sufficient qualified personnel in stark contrast to the ever-increasing trend of minimal service. I love this place.

This local Ace is truly a one stop shop for most everything youll need around a house just short of food. The staff are forward and friendly but rarely does it feel forced. They are, for the most part, knowledgeable of DIY and he projects and will offer information when needed.

Come here often to get things as im working on a housing project in Oxford. Everyone has been extremely helpful and curious. If someone doesn’t know how to properly answer your question, they will admit it and find someone else who does and that’s important when finding the exact tool or item you are looking for. It’s a great place and seems like people who work there like to do what they do!

This place has been my go-to for over 15 years. It was a truly exceptional store. But I just ran down for a few items for the shop and was surprised.....the store looked dark.....quite a few lights needed new bulbs. Quite a few empty hooks, and most surprisingly, no more metric taps and dies and what appears to be a dwindling selection of metric hardware. It seems like a ghost of its former self. I am offering 4 stars because maybe theres a major overhaul underway and I just dont know about it. :)

Recently purchased several gallons of paint during the Memorial sale at 30% off. When we opened the supposed white trim paint it was black. We returned this gallon and exchanged it for the proper color however we had to pay full price instead of the sale price. I feel this was unjust D/T the fact was the stores error. Your clerk picked the paint off of the shelf and another took it to the car. I realize it was not noted immediately but we should not have been penalized. John is an excellent and knowledgeable clerk but the current staffing of this store does not compare to the service we always received previously.

Helpful above and beyond. Knowledgeable, great listeners, problem solvers. This is my store. Even if I pay a little more for tools etc. than at big box, its worth it to me to support this family run gem. You get more than what you pay for!

These is an outstanding store. Unlike Lowes or Home Depot, where you get lost and sometimes its hard to find an employee who will help you, Ace ALWAYS has employees ready to help you find what youre looking for, guide you as you choose the product, etc. Very friendly and knowledgable staff, very good hours, and despite being relatively small, they have a great stock of products at reasonable prices. If theres something you need and they dont have, theyll order for you. Ive bought there things as diverse as light bulbs, ant bait, garden tools, air filters--even a vacuum cleaner.

Went for a radiator key. Did not have in stock. Order it online and have it sent was the suggestion. Stopped by Gillmans, they stocked, bought 2 for less than a dollar each.

This is an incredibly well-run, customer-focused local hardware store. Walk in and within 30 seconds someone will ask you what they can help you with. Dont ask what aisle is x in?, tell them what you are trying to accomplish and someone will help you through the whole process. If youve never fixed a running toilet, or need to epoxy a soap dish to shower tile, or need to rent a chainsaw, this is the place for you. Even their teenaged staff is more knowledgable than anyone youll find at Lowes or Home Depot. They might not compete on price/selection with the big boxes but they are miles ahead on service. If they dont have it they will order it for you. Plus the owners are long time Oxford residents and know everyone in the building trades for any projects that are more than DIY.
