Selection is not the largest but the prices on good equipment cant be beat. If you find it there chances are good you cant find it cheaper elsewhere. Get on the email list for great daily deals.

Proces have really gone up for Ammo, but you need to have protection these days. The guy in the gun section Frank was really helpful and we got to talk about old times and old gun stores in Oxnard. Things sure have changed.

Awesome place. I called for ammunition. They had 1 box of what I needed. I picked it up 25 minutes later. The associate held it from me as I had a 15 minute drive to get there. Also, bought some workout gear & a young lady was physically trying to help me find what I was looking for. Excellent customer service at Big 5 Camarillo.

This location offers parking in the plaza parking lot with accessible entrance. Masks required. Store associate Ben was very helpful with shoe selection, which I bought two pairs of sneakers on sale. He was also helping another couple with their shoes and was very patient and accommodating over the time span of about 20 minutes for both of us. What you see is what is available for selection, however additional sizes were available in the back which Ben was constantly going to get. Store staff is polite and very helpful. Prices reasonable for what gear is available.

Freaking awesome. This place was clean and not too busy at all. Loved that they even had fun stuff at the check out. Bought a tamagotchi while getting fishing licenses. Took me back to my elementary school days.

Great selection of sporting goods. Has some of the big name brands, and some very affordable options of youre on a budget. (Or in my case, not sure if the kids are gonna stick to a sport)

This visit was a bit disappointing, they had the shoe we needed but no one to help us. I couldnt find the matching pair. Isle was a hot mess waited too long so we went to Big five instead.

We visited on June 2, 2020. They are organized and only allow a certain amount of people in the store at a time. Vicente was awesome for us. We got a package of elbow, knee, and wrist pads. When we opened it in the car, there was only 1 elbow and 1 wrist pad. We went back to the door and Vicente once again assisted us by explaining options and offering an exchange while we waited outside. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, especially him!

Me and my husband went to Big 5 to buy 2 weight blankets and the lady that helped us was very polite and rang up our weight blankets. She asked us if we needed help to put them in our car. We told her, that it could carry them. It was nice of her to ask us.

This big 5 is awesome. I got there a few short minets before they were to close. They were really nice and let myself in and a very few after me. I toke up there time flr getting things done so they could lock up and go home. They never treated me bad. I think I frustrated them because I had to go get my wallet so they had to unlock the door for me. Then to top it off something was wrong with my bank. They even offered to keep the stuff put up for me for 2 days. How nice they are

There are many different types of sports equipment available here, as well as casual things like outfits made for training and shoes. Different items come in different sizes. The store itself is a bit crowded meaning that the items are packed and stacked closely together with slim walking spaces. Employees are helpful as well. Its usually not too busy.

UPDATE 7/9/21- Went In to exchange sneakers. Jess rang me up, and not only did he have a bad attitude and was rude, he overcharged me when I initially went in. Got outside, there wasnt something right on the receipt, and I had to go back to point out his mistake. Went in later in the afternoon on the same day, and pointed out to Gabriela (manager) that I caught another mistake, and still overcharged me. Gaby took care of everything.I get angry when someone messes with my money, and consider what he did to be stealing. He probably does it with other people & the company, also. He shouldnt be working with the public with that level of attitude. If hes going to be handling money, he needs to learn basic math and counting change. Your customers are the reason why you have a job, you need to be nicer to them.just bought sneakers here today. Alejandro was awesome. He was friendly, very helpful & answered any question I had. The cashiers, Stephanie & Brenda were just as nice as the salesman. Frank, the manager, is always helpful every time I go there. They always have great customer service.

It has lots of different active merchandise that is great for gift giving or for yourself. Shoes at great prices plus so much more! I recommend visiting this store and see for yourself. Lots to see!

Pretty much always buy my shoes here. Running walking hiking etc. Pretty cheaply too compared to other stores. Besides maybe payless shoes

This Big 5 Sporting Store is a little pricey. They need better selection of clothing workout clothes. The employers fo follow you everywhere in the store thinking that youre there to shoplift. Not good so go to a different Big 5 Sporting Store

This is my favorite store I love everything from here. They have good quality of shoes for sale and clothes.

I do like Big 5 because of the great prices and sale items they have everyday but trying to get help is almost impossible. They do not have enough employees working. But the ones working are doing their best.

Im pretty disappointed at their very poor customer service!! All staff just seem to not care and were unprofessional except for Grant at the register. Grant was the only staff member that greeted me, asked if I had found everything I needed, was nice and professional. And its not the first time this happens at this location. I really hope they work on this very important issue. Other than that I wish they had a little more options on golf stuff.

It was before xmas when I took LOUISE to Dicks sporting goods and I decided to look for a couple dufful bags for the boys road trip and particular flask water bottles. I did not find them there but when I stopped at Big 5, it took care of my needs, needed one of the dufful bags red which in the right size, I did not find but it was fine, the flask bottles needed to be tall but skinny one in red the other in teal, happily I found what I needed. And the price was also good. Best year ever Big 5¡!¡!¡!¡

Close to no equipment for women. I went looking for adult softball pants and I had a total choice of 8 pairs, 2 brands (1 of which was the only one) while men’s/youth pants had their whole section. Same with socks. Only men’s and youth. If your a woman looking for anything that would fit your body properly, go somewhere else.

They didn’t let me buy a mossberg 500 tactical SG or even a tokarev AIRGUN all because I’m a minor.. smh

Love shopping there.... they just need to be a little bit more organize. Other than that great products and customer service.
