I went to Loftis with a used Rollator Walker. Even though Loftis is a small engine repair shop, Bill was so kind! He worked on it for free fixing the brakes. What a wonderful, compassionate group of people! Thank you Loftis!
I have taken my chainsaw there 4x to fix the same problem n it still wont run anywhere close to use it. The 1st time they lied about what they did to it...didnt do anythung ti it n charged me for it. Gave them 1 last chance to do it...got it back today w/them telling me there was water in the gas...not the 1st time they told me this...it still wont run to get any cuttin done. I WILL DRIVE A 100 MILES TO HAVE IT REPAIRED BEFORE I GIVE THEM ANY MORE BUSINESS! IVE NEVER DEALT WITH A PLACE LIKE THIS! IDK HOW THEY STAY IN BUSINESS. MY ADVICE...TAKE YOUR REPAIRS ANYWHERE BESIDES LOFTIS!!
Need to get additional help. Do good work but the wait for repairs is long.

Had issues with my mower. They came and picked it up, repaired it and returned it to me for a very reasonable price and I wasnt left waiting for a long time without it.
Long time reader, first time writer. Not sure about sales group. But the service and repair business is a joke. Their system of tracking work and progress is non-existent.Dropped off a generator for repairs (mid June), 1 week later they called and said it needed a new carburetor. I said ok make it happen. At this point I was feeling pretty good.3 weeks later (mid July not) I called back and they said they were waiting on me. Fine. So I give them the OK to order parts. Called back 3 weeks later (1st week of August) to find out they had done nothing, so they said they were going to order the parts.Its been 10 weeks now (early September). I just spoke with them and they just ordered that one more part they thought they had but didnt.Best bet is to watch some YouTube videos and do the work yourself.
Very nice people and good to deal with. Bill was outstanding when I purchase a new rider. He dropped everything to make sure I was getting what I needed. This is the second purchase from them. Would not go anywhere where else.

These Guys are amazing! Ill drive every time from Springfield just to have my equipment worked on by these guys. had to bring my trimmer in for some repairs and they gave me a trimmer as a loner to keep me in going. Hands down will always have my business.

The price was astronomical when we picked up our mowers for a simple yearly service. Got them home and had to turn around and take both back because one leaked fluid all over our garage and the other was a mess covered in fluids they spilt all over it and it was never cleaned up. I am very disappointed in the services for Loftis!I have also been trying to contact them to see if they will be ready for pickup after being dropped off to fix their screw up and no one will answer or it’s a busy signal all the time! Not happy

Loftis is a great repair and retail place!I love the fact that these folks dont treat me like I am dumb because Im a woman, yet they recognize that because Im a woman I might need help getting my equipment out of my vehicle. They hit that difficult sweet spot of serving women well in an area dominated by men.Each time I go here I have a good experience, whether its for repairs, seasonal tune-ups, or purchases. Plus, their prices are fair and reasonable across the board.(My male friends and family agree with all of the above, FYI.)

When my lawnmower wouldnt start at the beginning of the season, I misdiagnosed the problem to be a clogged carburetor. I took it to Loftis to be serviced. Im so glad I did! The malfunction was actually due a bent metal bar. Loftis repaired it and presented me with a bill for only $10! They deserve another five stars for their honesty. I will definitely use them again.

I have a chainsaw that will run for a short time then quit. I took it to Loftis and it was returned in the same condition. Took it back and after the second tuneup it again ran for a short time and quit. They got quiet when I went in the third time which was my last time. Went to Tractor Supply and bought a new saw.

A company cannot be great with their customer service every day. I write on a site first time ever because the service was so rude.I called ahead with model number and make for a lawn mower blade and was told I guarantee we have it. He didnt even want to check the model number. I drove 40 miles round trip to the store. Showed pictures of the blade I needed. I was given wrong blade ANYWAY causing me to abort my scheduled home maintenance visit and expense.I travel another 20 miles to get the correct blade. Steve, who stated he was owner, defended each statement and excuse of why I was given wrong blade as if it was my fault. I was thorough in my process, yet the owner put blame on me. He would not compensate me for the drive, gas, or difference in price. Is this because I am a women? Because I knew they made the mistake dispite how much evidence I presented for the correct blade I needed?Shame on them for leaving a customer feel wronged and devalued. All over a $9.62 blade. And I didnt even get an apology or the difference in price. His final words? I have to pay for the blade.I understand their site has a million views. But how many times do they treat customers so unkindly behind closed doors. So I drove home 20 miles.This place deserves to hear an honest complaint. This must be very important for me to take my precious time in sharing about their poor-rude-inconsiderate service.Jennifer

My dad took his blower to be repaired. They had it a month and kept giving him the runaround. Yesterday he went to get it and they had given it to another customer. They offered him a junker as a consolation. But that was it. Do NOT go there. They are the worst!
Comically inept.They picked my mower up over two months ago and today I got it back in the same condition as when it was picked up.They are exceptionally difficult to get ahold of and every phone call with them is like the first. They have no idea who you are or what you want.At one point they even brought the wrong lawn mower back and only my own honesty prevented them from giving me someone elses mower.A complete waste of time and money. Ended up paying $35 for my mower to sit in their shop for two months. When I asked for a full refund the owner kept repeating, you owe us at least the delivery feeSo if you plan to use loftis plan on missing your mower for two months or more before giving up and paying $35 for them to return it.

I gave it one star only due to the fact that the gentleman I talked to was friendly. As for the work they performed on my equipment thats another story. They lied on several occasions about the work they did. When I got my equipment back it was worse then when I took it in. It was taken in under warranty. They had it two weeks and never heard from them. Finally we got a hold off them and they said the mower was done. Went to pick it up because they said they couldnt deliver it for a couple days. When we picked it up they said the work wasnt under warranty and charged us for it. We never even received a call during the time they had it to let us know any of this. But they did the so called work on it anyways without informing us that they would have to charge. Took it to another repair shop who verified that the work they claimed they did was false. Loftis even thru in some extra charges that I am working on to try and get my money back. They also charged for pick up and delivery which I ended up having to pick it up myself. Very, VERY shady business practices.I am contemplating taking them to small claims court for their fraudulent work and charges.
$85 for a spring tune up. New plug, filter, sharpened blade etc etc and my mower still wont start. I want every penny back and Im gonna tell everyone I know what a pack of crooks these guys are.

Had my mower under Lowes warranty, had them pick it up. They had it 2 weeks. Then no word finally my husband got ahold of them. They said they repaired it. And would deliver it the next day. Waited almost all day finally called and got told they couldnt deliver they were short on employees. So we borrowed a trailer from them and loaded it. Then we were informed that it was not under warranty and the total was over 100 dollars. So we paid brought it home took trailer back. My husband started mowing and mower was still broken. Called them back and their response was that mowers with that deck size shake alot. Needless to say I wont be going back. Also they charged me for delivery fee even though I picked it up. Had another company come get it and repair it correctly. Now I have a working mower.
Any one who has a mower will be pleased with the store and the service they receive. They service dixon, husqvarna and stihl. They can work on other brands as well. Call first to fine out if the can.

This shop is staffed by men with very poor attitudes with an entitlement mindset. There poor attitudes are matched by no discernible organization skills. There were 6 men standing around shifting from one leg to the other while the owner was trying to find a part he ordered for me while explaining how overworked all his guys were. EVERY time I hire them to fix something or simply order something for me ends in frustration and excuses. It took them 20 minutes to finally think to go over to the computer and check the status of the order. Until then they just shifted uncomfortably and mumbled something about serial #s. (the part was never found) Do yourself a favor. Learn from my mistake(s) in dealing with Loftis.... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! ANYWHERE else .

They came out and picked up my riding mower which is under Lowes Extended repair plan. In about two weeks they brought my mower back and dropped it off without saying anything. It still did not start. In a few days they brought a battery and charged me for the batter and left. Since I am under an extended plan they should not have charged me for the battery. I am requesting my money back and feel they are using deceptive business practices on a senior citizen. And, my mower still does not work. They did not respond to my email requesting my money back.

Im sure these guys are as nice as they seem, but theyre entirely disorganized. My mower was there for two weeks. I stopped by to ask about it. The guy looked through piles of papers along the countertop, then clip boards on the wall. Found it on a clip board of parts to be ordered.... which they actually had in stock - a drive belt for a self-propelled mower. I came by the next day to pick up my mower.... after another 30 minute search for paperwork (which was never found, btw).I get it home and it behaved like it did before the belt broke - lurching forward at stand-still, locking up on pull-backs, until it went out completely, but no broken belt. So I now have a $600 push mower to mow a two-acre yard. And once I finish mowing, Ill have to take it back (a 20 mile drive), because Husqvarna only approves certain shops. Only had it a few months, brand new from Lowes. If I could take it to my local shop and have it covered under warranty, I wouldnt be having these problems. When I buy a rider, it wont be Husqvarna. The warranty isnt worth the headache and hassle.
They have a lot of good lawn mowers and a very good service center. Although I think their prices on their used equipment is a little on the high side.

Great service from buddy, he went out of his way to help us and get us the best deal including servicing and washing the mower we wanted, however the owner refused and went against the price we were given and was extremely hateful to us and degrading towards buddy and showed no concern towards helping us find a different one in our price range.
