Great friendly staff ready to walk you to the spot where you can find what you are looking for. Yes, prices are bit higher then the larger competitors over the hill. However, access is faster, parking is not a problem, and one does not get lost trying to find a product. Its great to have a local hardware store.

Ive lived on the Coastside for 25 years and Linda Mar Ace has been my trusted hardware source from day one. Kate, Linda, Karl and all the staff are friendly and always helpful. The coffee is better than Starbuckss. And the prices are competitive and fair. Erlene in the Garden Center is a jewel. Even COVID didnt stop these wonderful folks from serving Pacifica and the Coastside. And I am one of the grateful ones. Thank you!

I go to this store to buy potting soil. Its on sale. And I get the receipt and head back with help to carry it. I look down at the receipt and she over charged me!!! I told the man with me to wait. And I went to the same woman at the check out, and told her the problem. She then LIED and said that I said I had no Ace reward card. Then I could not get my money back. Then she wanted me to pay again. And I already paid!!! I left with no dirt and 15 dollars off my. Bank card...Maybe they will return my money when they want. And the woman said I was rude???? Unbelievable. I like the plants there. But I went to San Bruno to Lowes. I heard Ace is going out of business. I can understand. Thats ridiculous.

Im not sure Im qualified to review a hardware store. But in the spirit of the internet, I still do it - so there it is.A couple of weeks ago I came to this store for the second time (Ive been in other Ace stores before, so I knew the concept). My objective was to buy material for a project I started a few weeks before: building an activity board for my one year old toddler. (Google what it is :-)).So Ive been wandering around in the store to browse for random things to connect to this piece of wood and hope its safe enough for a toddler to play with it. The variety of stuff they have is impressive so it took me a while to get a good overview. The friendly staff kept asking me if I need help, but I declined saying Im just browsing. Im sure they thought I wasnt going to buy anything and might even steal a thing.After being asked for the fifth time I gave in and explained what I was building. The guy helped me find a couple of things and even came to me later with a suggestion (battery powered light with a switch). Great at upwelling ;-)Overall a great place to buy things I didnt know existed and my daughter loves the bright red activity board with a variety of locks, wheels and other things connected to it.Thanks Ace :-)

I was asked for my phone numbers twice at the register, I politely told the guy at the register my home number, looking at his register, he said I cant find your phone number, do you have another phone? I again responded by giving my cell phone number. Then I asked why do you need my phone number anyways? He didnt say anything. Disbelieving I then showed him my CDL and my credit card and left the store. I was furious! I called the manager when I got home and spoke to her of the incident. I was told that the clear intention of asking phone numbers is for me to become a member of that store so you can get discounts. I said that should have been communicated in the beginning. I could have said NO right away. This was my first time to ever come to this store and I will not ever come here to shop again.

Helpful staff, plentiful parking, and a great paint department. Also have thousands of items that are easy to order in store, in case they dont have the size or shape in-store that you need.They are set far enough back from the beach that they usually dont have a million beach tourists parking in their lot in summer, unlike the strip malls close to the beach.

Very helpful sales people. ACE usually has all the items difficult to find in the big box hardware stores. Plus, free coffee!

The Linda Mar Ace is one of my favorite hardware stores. Terrific staff, easy parking and reasonable selection. If youre after something a touch esoteric, it might pay to call first, but the phone always gets answered and they know what they have on the shelves. Always a great experience.

Ace is a great store. They have almost everything you need for your home and project. Staff here is great. Theyre actually really really funny if you stand around an aisle and listen to them talk when its slow its truly entertaining. I will go back Often.

Im always underwhelmed.Quality: What they have is just fine, well within expectations for a hardware store, but nothing extreme in the mix.Appeal: Cobwebs. Empty or lightly stocked shelves. Finding what I want can be a challenge. If youve always shopped here I bet its just fine, but a newcomer to town can end up wandering about hoping to stumble into what they are looking for - despite the signs.Service: The staff is friendly and polite. When Im lost in the aisles I have to approach them first, but they do then help.

Store is tucked a little out of the way, but a great find. If you need it they have it. May not have the same size selection that you get from a big box store, but they have the supplies to get the job done and friendly staff as well.

Lumber, nah we really dont do lumber very well. An 8 ft 2 by 4 .....no: how about a twisted 10 footer for 8 dollars. BUT it is the only game in town and if we dont shop here soon well have another resort on the beach.

Its a local hardware store that we frequent. Its convenient, prices on the high side but thats what convenient stores are so, the people are super helpful and knowledgeable thats the plus they will help you figure it out, so it all works out

This is a good hardware store also probably one of the only ones in Pacifica outside of reasonable prices and decent parking something you may not know about it is right on the side of this Ace Hardware store is this little hiking trail in Jingle All The Way deep up into the mountains its absolutely one of those beautiful hikes you can do in the Bay Area

This is a great local store. I regularly save 15 minutes of driving to Home Depot or 20 minutes to Lowes, and this place has almost everything I need for a weekend project. Just picked up some bolts, wing nuts and washers -- and it only took 1 minute to find the right size/type (stainless), as the staff here are extraordinarily helpful and respectful. No matter what on Earth I need, they try and locate the items. I also save 15 minutes driving back from the big chains, where its difficult to find someone who know where everything is and is really available to help. Regularly buy garden supplies, paint, caulking, plumbing supplies, etc. at Ace. Staff is courteous, and willing to lug that heavy Propane Canister for you rather than stand by and just watch. Great place, convenient location, great staff and good value. Check it out (root beer by the counter is also good).

I went out to the garden section and there was not one ace employee. The fruit trees were all tipped over every plant was completly dry. I went and asked for the manager no one showed and the employee i spoke to about thè issue stated it wasnt his problem

The worst cust svc of any ACE Hardware l been to in the 30 years l been around San Francisco. From 10 employees, two are really knowledgeable and polite. The problem is, they are not always there. Im surprised this place is still open, Its always empty for a reason; bad service.

Ive been going here for about 5 years, mostly good experiences.The other day one of the staff members started talking about my nappy hair. It made me feel very uncomfortable. I think it made the other staff members uncomfortable too.
