My experience with Nino and his team started off great. I informed Nino that I’m a military member located in Idaho looking to ship a vehicle. We were able to negotiate on the asking price on the vehicle and he offered to pay half of the shipping costs. The team provided a video tour of the vehicle and Nino even provided me a second look at some damage on the bumper and tire. After the initial conversation communication then became more difficult. Mike helped draft up a bill of sale and they took a deposit to secure transport on May 5th. They said I should secure transport either that day or the next. After waiting 4 days without any notification of transport I expressed to Nino that I was returning to work from deployment and was not expecting transport to take this long and that it would have at least have been in route by now. I asked Nino for a refund of the deposit and Nino told me that he would look into it once he got into work but if the transport was assigned he would not be able to refund my deposit. On the 5th day the vehicle magically was assigned transport which secured my deposit and essentially secured the sale for Nino. After completing the paperwork I asked Nino the following day when I can expect the title and he said that it would be mailed out that day which was a Tuesday. Throughout the week I asked Nino for carrier information to confirm delivery time and date and he just told me that it would be Saturday and would provide a call when 5 hrs out. On Saturday around noon local I texted Nino again for carrier information to get details, he did not respond. While at my sons baseball game around 1pm I get a call saying the car is 40 minutes out. FANTASTIC. Luckily, the driver was nice enough to wait until I became free’d up. I asked the driver to meet me at the local Lowe’s consider my subdivision is difficult to get to. By the time I got there the vehicle was already off the truck waiting. Exterior was dirty but expected during transport, although the front left tire looked to be low of air. Upon entering the vehicle, the vehicle was unacceptably dirty for a vehicle purchased from a dealership. Nino informed that his wife had been driving the vehicle and I guess they decided that it would be acceptable to ship it to me without cleaning it. When I decided to move the vehicle I realized that the front tire wasn’t just low in air but the sidewall had an obvious hole. So, not only did Ninos find it acceptable to ship me a dirty vehicle, it was also ok to sell me a vehicle with a flat tire that will need replacement. Considering it’s an awd I’m already 1k in on the car with all tires needing replaced. ADDITIONALLY, it wasn’t until now that I decided to double check the odometer listing and compare to the bill of sale. The listing on the KD website had the vehicle at 120k and AFTER the vehicle shipped when we finalized the paperwork he changed the odometer reading to 127k. So in between the listing and finalizing the sale they managed to put 7k miles on the vehicle but never mentioned anything during the video walk around.In the end I realized I put too much trust in Nino and his team, especially for a remote purchase. I’ve reached out to Nino about my experience and frustration but he has chosen not to respond to me. I feel like Nino assured that my transport was booked that day he looked into it knowing that I would have to commit to purchase without getting my deposit back. Then he took advantage of the situation knowing that I would be out of luck and would have to accept whatever I got delivered.ALSO, he sent me the title 5 days after he said he would even after expressing that I was already in a time crunch with leaving again in a week.

Ozzie and the rest of the team were super knowledgeable, helpful and most importantly, personable and trustworthy. We felt that we got a fair price, and we’re so happy with our purchase. Nicest guys around — give this place a try if you’re searching for your next car!

I went to KD Motorsports today to look at a Mach 1 Mustang. I dislike the whole used car process so I was kind of dreading it honestly. I dealt directly with Ozzie and Mike David. Both of these guys are super down to earth and personable. They radiate care for the customer and offer low pressure assistance. They offered me an extremely fair price on the car and when I insisted I wanted time to think it over they were accommodating. We couldnt be happier with our experience with these guys. We found the car we were looking for (a Honda CRV) on a Saturday morning around 8 am. We are from Madison, WI, so its about a 2 hour drive to get to this dealership. I called them at 8, knowing someone likely wouldnt answer because they dont open until 10. But they did! PJ was there, and told us that even though they werent really open yet, we could come down anytime and look at the car. I explained that we were 2 hours away, so we would get there around the time they opened, and asked if they could hold the car until we got there. It was a good thing we did, because as we pulled up into the lot PJ was on the phone with a woman that lived 15 minutes away and wanted to come look at it. He told we were looking at it, but told her he would let her know if we didnt get it. She ended up calling back 4 times while we were there. Anyway, the sales team was great. There was no pressure, and they let the car sell itself. They had the Carfax report for us to look at online and in person, and noted that they work hard to find cars that are one-owner cars with clean Carfax reports. We took it for a test drive and were very happy with it. When my husband asked if there was any way to look at the undercarriage, PJ said they didnt have a lift, but we were welcome to take it to any mechanic for an inspection (we didnt end up doing that, but it was nice that they clearly had nothing to hide). We purchased the car and have been very happy with it for the 2 months we have had it. About 6 months prior we needed another vehicle, and experienced all the horror stories you hear about with other dealerships (high pressure sales, and ended up with a vehicle with a blown engine that needed to be replaced 2 hours after buying it- stay away from Fox Valley VW!). We were SO happy that this experience was much smoother. I highly recommend these guys!!

I found a 2014 Toyota Prius online that they hosted on FB marketplace. I texted PJ to negotiate price first and went there for a test drive. The vehicle was in mint condition as advertised and exceeded my expectations that I’ve decided to buy it. The only thing was windshield had chips and small cracks but PJ had a professional windshield company replaced for a new one with no additional cost to me. Unlike other car dealers, they takes care customers well. I highly recommend Kalou Motorsport and PJ was great to deal with.

Bad customer service, they didn’t seem interested in getting my business. I went there twice to look at a vehicle, the first time I was outside next to the vehicle looking at it the guy just stared at me from inside for 20 min I waited for someone to approach me and nothing I walked inside he quickly got on the phone and acted like I wasn’t there and he was too busy but ok I waited when he finished his phone call he was short with me in everything I asked him about vehicle seems like he didn’t know much about it or he just didn’t wanted to talk about the vehicle, I left that day with a sour feeling but ok expected from a small dealership. Came back for a second look but was greeted with the same quality of customer service, I mean I bought cars at small dealerships before and was treated much better.Hope the owner reads my review and makes some changes because it seems to only give thumbs up and thanks to people with something good to say.

Buying a car at Kalou motorsports from PJ was the best experience we’ve ever had. We felt we had a great deal of time to look at the vehicles, we even test drove the vehicle twice. Not once were we pressured to buy the vehicle. When we did make the decision, PJ went above and beyond to make sure the car was in perfect condition for us. In addition to this, he was extremely conscientious of us needing to bring our 10 month old daughter. It was winter so the vehicle was always in the garage with our car so we could swap out the car seat without exposing our daughter to the cold. Thanks PJ!
