I recently had Robert / at the main store do a refret on one of my blackguard teles and the job was so amazing Im literally looking at all my other guitars now and wondering how I can get them all over to him :-)this is the best service best repair best modification and best all-around musical instrument repair on the planet. I brought in my Gibson Country Western into the Palatine location in March. I wasn’t too sure about the company but I heard good things about them so I decided to give them a shot. And I’m very glad I did. I had a nasty crack on my soundboard and after the repair, there is no sign of it. Also the 12th fret was dinging heavily, and Third Coast made that disappear as well. I have not had a guitar repaired before. However, My future repairs will be done by Third Coast because of their fair price, great customer service, and exquisite work... I want to also thank John from the Palatine location for making the experience easy and assuring, thanks buddy!!! A+++++

Bought the Fender Pro Jr in to have the input jack looked at. That turned out fine and the tech checked all of the connections and sauder and the map sounds better than it ever did. It’s a real American amp now. Thanks! And totally recommend if you have instrument or amp troubles

I had purchased a used Gretsch Electromatic off of Reverb that was in beautiful condition, but after a couple of plays I could hear that the intonation was off (sharp). Took it into the Palatine location for a setup. After straightening the neck, and adjusting the bridge and the saddles the guitar now sounds as good as it looks and the action is nicely improved as well. Knowledgeable staff and highly recommended.

In my humble opinion John could be touring the globe with the act of his choice as head technician...but lucky for us hes not, hes right here in AH. Ive brought several guitars and an amp in to John and theyve come back to me in better shape than I first received them. Patient, engaged, and a conduit for some universal knowledge - he knows guitars like Neo knew The Matrix. If you care about your instruments run...dont walk to Third Coast on Northwest Highway. Even if you just need help with a set-up or think you might be able to get more out of your instrument hes the man. Not to mention hes willing to fully explain the process and offer tips to assist your learning. As long as this dude is around here I know where Ill be bringing my gear. Diamond in the rough folks.
