Great experience at Palestine Toyota. While staying in town this week, my car was broken into along with about twelve other vehicles in the hotel parking lot. I took my Tacoma to the dealership early that morning and was on the road that afternoon with new glass installed. The team did a great job getting me back on the road. Terrible service dept. Had an appointment for oil change, no customers in line in front of me and the service took 2 hours, cost $30 more than other Toyota dealerships. Tech managed to strip the screws on my skid plate then charged me for replacements they didn’t have in stock. After the fact found grease hand prints on the headliner. Avoid.

They will treat you best if your buying a vehicle from them but they dont want to service the cars when it comes to wornty work. They wont even return calls if you try and touch base with them about your vehicle. Ive been trying for the last 10 days and the service department wont even answer the phone..... after posting this i was contacted and things were sorted out im glad that we could resolve this issue and the the service department got it taking care of i have changed the rating to three stars for them understanding there mistakes thank you...

The easiest and fastest purchase I have ever made. This was by far the most pleasant vehicle buying experience I have ever been through. I was looking for a specific Tundra, and though it took 2 weeks, Mike Perry found what I was looking for and had it delivered to Palestine for me rather than me having to drive to Dallas (and less expensive than the other dealership I initially tried to deal with). Keep in mind this is despite an inventory shortage across the U.S. due to production shut downs (COVID related) and an increase in truck demand (with the recent SNOVID). The staff there went the extra mile and then some (probably sacrificing a kidney or something to get the deal done, but whatever....I got my truck). Tank topped off, vehicle cleaned (despite no water at the dealership because of the afore mentioned SNOVID) and keys in my hands in less than an hour. Phenomenal team there with no pressure or trying to up charge me. I can not say enough how well the team treated me and I plan to do all my future business with them. God bless guys and keep up the good work.

My husband and I purchased a new Toyota Highlander from Palestine Toyota 5 days ago. We first made contact through their website to ask a multitude a questions, and were connected to our salesman Jordan Farley. We highly recommend him to anyone in their vehicle search. We are always wary of purchasing a vehicle after only corresponding by email and phone, but the process was smooth and there were no surprises once we arrived for the purchase. Jordan and Palestine Toyota were able to locate the exact vehicle I was looking for at a great price. Definitely our best experience with any dealership and salesman ever.

Bought my new car from them in December. Mr. Nick was great, as was Mr. Andrews in financing. They went above and beyond and even were willing to stay very late to work with my schedule during the holiday season. I liked them so well, when my mother-in-law started looking I brought her in, and she bought a truck from them as well. Great people all the way around.

Go to Toyota of Tyler, they are truly amazing. You will get better service, a nicer car, and for less money and mileage. They wont try to put you in something you dont want, or ask you to add your spouse, or ask for more money on your down payment. It was so quick and easy and professional. I went to Toyota of Palestine and left frustrated, I went through Toyota of Tyler completely online and left in my new car completely happy.

I went in for an oil change Saturday around 12:30 because I didnt want to drive to Tyler like I normally do. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the person assisting in getting that taken cared of was. Coming and going. He was patient and very Courteous. He was wearing a face mask which was good considering. Im directionally challenged so I would have liked for him to offer and or direct me to the waiting room. The waiting room was clean and the coffee was amazing. Loved the Kurig. Unfortunately, there was no hand sanitizer around. That definitely would be convenient. One of the gentleman that sold cars came in and we talked for a minute. We had a pleasant conversation. The same man ended up helping me put my window sticker on the windshield because the oil change guys neglected to put it on. I did pay a few dollars more but I guess I would have spent that much in gas getting to Tyler. I also had them wash the car. Much appreciated! Overall good exprience. It wasnt a long wait either. Im glad I didnt go to Tyler!

I am extremely disappointed in my experience in the service department. I pulled up to the service center, around 2:00 pm, in order to get an oil change. One service member was assisting another customer and I was LITERALLY standing in the door way awaiting assistance. The other customer service member came around the corner into the office, passed me standing IN the DOORWAY to assist another customer standing behind me. There’s a way to address multiple customers standing in the waiting area.

I just got my car serviced there. They were prompt, professional, and the waiting area was very nice. I was able to get myself a snack, enjoyed my coffee, and spoke with one of the nice sales people about some specials they are having on the new Camry (Im thinking about trading in my old car soon). Ive recommended this place to a lot of people. Even purchased a car from here. But after the experience my brother has had with them and honoring their warranty. I would really advise people to go elsewhere. Hes made three trip about the same thing, and gets the same results nothing. The warranties they offer are a scam. Both of my parents are car shopping as we speak and now refuse to deal with any Toyota dealership because the way yall have handled the situation with my brothers car.

Great service and wonderful people

I bought a new 4Runner from Sam. My trade in value wasnt as much as I would have liked, and a heck of a lot lower than they are try to resell it for, but after getting discounts, price reductions and $250 for Internet inquiry for the new 4Runner, I was happy. The dealing was painless and unpressured. 2 weeks in and no regrets. This is my second 4Runner, my other is a 1999 4Runner that cost almost as much as my new one. They are both great vehicles that last and look great for many years. Hardest thing is trying to decide if I want to drive my new black one or my old white one. I would buy another Toyota here again, but since they last forever, it may be another 20 years before Im in the market for a 3rd 4Runner.

My husband and I looked on the website and found a couple of cars we wanted to look at. Our salesman, Michael Richardson, met us outside when we arrived and showed us what we were interested in as well as a couple of his suggestions. After choosing our car, Brandon helped us get the financing worked out, they detailed the car and we were done! The process was so smooth and easy, we definitely recommend this place. :)

My experience was actually in the service department where they graciously accepted working on my Nissan even though Toyota is their norm. Not only did they figure out the issues, but they gave me a sizeable discount to try to ease the financial pressure I was having with the unexpected repairs. David Foreman was the main person that worked with me along with his mechanic.

I wrote a review about my recent experience at this dealership and the review was responded to by the general manager Chuck. To be honest I never expected a call back. But I just got off the phone with him and I have never been treated with more respect after being angry and aggressive with comments. Chuck cares a lot about his business and customers. He took the time to listen to my issue with the dealership and didn’t make me feel like I was wrong for feeling the way I did after the visit. If you think about giving a bad review just read another negative comment and give him a call before you leave a review. Chuck if you read this far I apologize for leaving the comments and sounding so angry on the voicemail. I don’t understand every aspect of the car business but you treated me with much respect and kindness when I personally would have not done the same. Five stars for above and beyond. Thank you.

The sales tactics used by this dealership are deplorable. They get you interested in a car, then pull the rug out from under you by coming up with some excuse as to why you dont qualify, such as, need more money down, credit score isnt good enough, your trade-in isnt enough, etc. This happened to me not once but THREE times. I wasted almost an entire day, and ended up with a car I didnt really want.I DO NOT recommend this dealership to anyone. If you want a Toyota, take the extra drive to Tyler, you will be treated better.

Their finance team was straight forward and explained everything in detail and answered any questions I had about warranty, contract and services. This dealership is one of the cleanest and best organized I have ever seen. They even placed my vehicle in a holding bay, after they cleaned it and filled it with a full tank of gas, which Im positive they do for all of their customers. I stopped by here once even though I wasnt searching for a Toyota vehicle. I came here because I needed a place for an oil change for my Mini Cooper. I was in a need for an oil change. A staff member said that I was not able to do an oil change but assisted me to go somewhere else in Palestine for oil changes for Mini/BMW cars. They were respectful as well!

Must have come in on a bad day employees were rude......this was my last review well went buy again in the last month nope not any better maybe even more rude definitely would not recommend them at all and will not ever stop by again. That its worst place every and more then once. Try to give them another try but nope not again.

How do you rate perfect? How do you explain a business that goes way beyond to help a customer.My wife left the house pulling a horse trailer with a horse going to a new home. She stopped for gas and then continued traveling. Shorty after leaving the gas station the check engine light came on. Power was reduced and soon all lights were flashing. She made it to her dealership in Palestine.As you may have already guessed, she had purchased bad gas. The dealership then sent her home in a beautiful loaner vechile. Thank god. My wife had to bring home feed and hay or horses would not have been fed.And if that was not enough, remember she still had a horse trailer with a 2 year old colt trapped. A employee of Palestine toyota ghen offered up her own vechile and hauled the trailer and colt safely back home.How do you thank a business that understands its customers and goes to this effort. My respect and thanks to Palestine Toyota. You will have our businness as long as we are able to drive.

It is a clean facility and it doesnt feel as though you are being harassed when you are there

Worst experience ever. They told me I was approved for Financing and let me drive off the lot with my new truck. Three days later they called back asking for a co-signer saying, I didnt make enough. They told me that they wouldnt take my commission checks as the larger part of my income. That made no sense to me, but they told me they could put me in a car, just not the truck. Apparently they did a process called Spot Financing were they assume that everything would check out. They will let you leave the lot in your new vehicle, and then try to get a approval later. When this falls through they will call and say you need a co-signer or you will have to bring the vehicle back to the dealership.Its something to leery about when going late at night or weekends cause most banks are closed.I was lucky enough to get my old car back, but they had already destroyed my plates. Its been two months now and still no plates. I had to call this morning because the temporary plates are about to expire. Of course no one knew about it and now Im waiting on a called back. I would note that Curtis was the original salesperson I spoke to who was excellent. It was the manager who kept going back to finance office is when thing started to get sketchy for me. I should have follow my gut,( which Curtis was very understanding about) and left. However the pushy persistent manager kept coming back trying to make a deal that he obviously could not honor.

Bait and switch. Your dealership had a car listed on CarGuru. I emailed you to make sure it was still available and was told that it was. I came by there this afternoon and the car was not there. I dont mean sold or being test driven. I was told by your salesman (Hollis) it was being used by Palestine Pd as an undercover vehicle and had not been at the dealership.  He seemed completely uninterested even saying that you dont sell these cars anyway that they go to dealers. I waisted 22 miles and 30 min of my time and gas each way to look at a car you didnt even have.  This shows a complete lack of respect and customer service.

Place will gouge you for your trade in to the tune of almost 10000 dollars below nada, blackbook, or blue book. When I have a credit score of 707, a trade work 24k based on comparison to what is on the lot, actually better than what is on the lot, and then given the run around, place is a joke, would not recommend for anyone

Everyone there is very welcoming, they greet you when you come into the door and make sure youre comfortable . I did my business with Curtis Pharis, I told him the specifics I was looking for and my preferences, he helped me get exactly what I was looking for . He was very friendly and informative and he made me feel comfortable about my purchase, he went over everything with me and answered all my questions.He talks to you like a friend rather than a salesman Trying to make a quick sale .
