Russ Greene, I guess owner is not reliable. He came out and adjusted spinklers in front yard here in Palm Coast. Grass died close to the fence when we had that drought this year 2021 for several weeks. This is after he told me he would give me an estimate on the backyard, which I do not have pipe for system in back. This was about 5 weeks from date of post 6-28-21. He has not called? Do not waste your time on this old guy. I have read the same situation in other posts.

Russ Green carried out a thorough maintenance overhaul of our irrigation system yesterday including changing both the rain sensor and controller at my request. His work was detailed and diligent giving me useful information on water saving and system details for our city supplied irrigation water. I would be happy to recommend him for this type of work and anticipate that the savings in water use will pay back in between one and two years.

In mid-May Russ Green (Dolphin Irrigation) and I agreed to treat my 2 wells with muriatic acid to increase the flow. This would require 2 visits by Green over a 2-day period. Agreed price = $95; timeframe = 6 weeks out (because he was so busy). On 6/20 Green finally arrived, much later than the appointed time, and asked a series of questions about flow-rate history, age of wells, etc., which ultimately led to Green’s conclusion that no such acid treatment was going to improve the flow. I believe Green could have reached the same conclusion on the phone 6 weeks earlier, with no on-site visit required. In an attempt to check the flow, it was discovered that the pressure switch on the well pump had failed (apparently very recently) and Green proceeded to replace the switch. Now I was in a position I never want to be in: service had been rendered with no agreed-on price. Green took the opportunity to gouge: $125 to replace a $15 part with a 30-40 minute visit: way beyond the $95 originally agreed-on price for 2 visits. No one ever wants to be ripped off, including me. Beware.
