Used them twice, in different locations, and they were prompt both times. Efficient; gave keys when arrived, then he texted when done. He walked me through what he had done, showed me new and replaced parts, I paid and that was it.Will be using for all car needs. Would highly recommend.

I called Brake Master Mobile repair and spoke with Gary, I told him of my situation my van was in my driveway and I believed the starter had failed, he said he was swamped but he would be out asap, as the day was coming to an end he called and told me he was on his way, sure enough what I would have called the end of the day he was at my home, he did his diagnosis and sure enough we needed a starter he gave a price told me he would order the part and return the next day to install it. He ran into an issue that made it a must to go to his shop at that time he got me a deal on a tow that night to his shop, the next afternoon he called the van was all ready, as I was stuck at home he offered to come pick me up and retrieve my van from his shop. All this service in a very timely matter and at the price he had quoted. He went way beyond my expectations. Great place to do business. 5 stars

Gary called me back in less than 15 minutes on Easter. I live in Colorado and had loaned a car to friends visiting Palm Springs it wouldn’t run and was close to down town Palm Springs. Gary went out the next morning at 8am offered my friends a ride to the tram, he ran the diagnostics and advised it was a security sensor problem. Gary e mailed us the info about his diagnostics and we realized from that information the friends had taken the after market FOB and this could cause this problem. I contacted Gary and advised him of the after market FOB. He advised me to get the original back to the car and that would probably solve the problem. This did solve the problem. Gary had offered to take the car back to the vacation house (because my friends were leaving) however because he diagnosed and got it running so quickly my friends took it back. Gary sent me a very fair charge for his work. Gary and his team are the real deal, when your 1000 miles away and call someone off their website. You are hoping you can trust this company. I was treated like a VIP they went out of their way for me to do an awesome job and take care of my friends. When I got the invoice it was just the icing on the cake for a job well done. Great guy who knows his stuff. If you want someone who charges expensive trip charges before you get any work done Gary is not your man! He might come and go a few times and come an hour late but is honest, big hearted and really knows what ihe is doing and fixes the problem at a really good price Gary is your guy! We had a great experience and would reccomend him to everybody. Not a lot of mechanics will explain every detail of your repair and then show you pics of his family. He is okay in my book. My daughters jeep broke down on the highway as she was returning to NAU. The driveshaft broke. Gary was absolutely outstanding with his efforts to get the repair done by Saturday so she could make it back to school by Monday. He kept me updated throughout the process and though what he had to do to get this all done on a Saturday is too much to list here, I know her went above and beyond what I would expect. Oh, and the price was very reasonable. WELL DONE Gary and your team. I am absolutely happy and would recommend them to everyone.

I live 2 hours away and went to palm desert for a little vacation, my car ended up breaking down out here and after searching mechanics they were the first I called and I’m happy I did, I haven’t had much luck with past mechanics but Gary was very nice and talked me through what he did and taught me some stuff too! He also helped explain to my parents over the phone what was going on, as they’re 2 hours away haha. I was super happy to find out that theyll travel out to where I actually live and will be calling them whenever I need a mechanic!

Ive been waiting to hear back from them for over a week about replacing my wheel studs. Called last Monday to see if they could just remove the existing hub and replace the studs instead of waiting for the complete assembly, which is on backorder. Still need a mobile mechanic to help me out but unfortunately sounds like these guys wont be the ones.

They were absolutely amazing!! Specifically Gary and Paula! I had a flat tire on a Sunday afternoon, not too many places open, attempted to change it myself but the jack slipped during the tire swap, preventing me from jacking the vehicle back up. I gave Brake Master Mobile Mechanic a call (24 hour service!!) and they were at my apartment fixing my car in less than 30 minutes!!! Gary had the spar on in 5 minutes and even gave me some much needed advice for future situations. And Paula handled the payment, the price was super competitive given the incredible service, in just a minute or two. All in all, my experience with brake master mobile mechanics was absolutely perfect, everything you could want!!!

This place is amazing. They arrived on time. They left no mess one wouldnt of even known I just had my brakes done. They were friendly showing my husband everything every step of the way. They brought new issues to our attention that the dealership missed on their last inspection and stated they would send us a report and pictures so we could go back to the dealership and get it taken care of. Oh and did I mention this was all on Sunday. We will definitely be using this company again.

Do Not I Repeat Do Not Use these Mechanics! GARY came like he seem very professional and reliable and honest Man. But all was a front and gibberish. He replace my Ignition Coils, Engine Oil, and Spark Plugs charge me More than 500 dollars. Set off my alarm system that I wasnt aware of that my car had. Came back to supposedly finished off the job. All he did is left his job undone my car was worse then before. Took out some fuses disabled my car entirely. Told me he would finish the job. He never answer his calls, text messages, he never came back. And he was always running late. Dont say that I didnt Warn You. Very Unprofessional!!!!

DO NOT USE** I called Gary and was very excited by his availability. I explained that I am a mobile medical professional who NEEDS my car to treat patients. He blew me off and didnt show up two nights in a row at scheduled appointment times, the second time never returning a single phone call or text. Completely wasted hours of my week that couldve been spent trying to find a better, more reliable mechanic. Please take all of the advice on here of people saying that he ripped them off, he is unreliable and is unprofessional and DO NOT use this guy.

This guy is a swindler he tried to charge me 650$ to fix my blower motor resistor and told me the part cost 300 which was a lie. He lied the whole time to get me to pay more money. I went to cam stones in palm desert the whole thing only cost me 200$ it wasnt as complicated as he tried to say it was. Dont believe anything this guy says. Also it was not an aftermarket part. The lady told me $650 over the phone so that is what they charged and he tried to say it was more difficult to replace the resister and that the blower motor was easier...well the resister is attached to the motor and its just as easy. It took 20 min the part from the actual dealership was 120 and the labor was 80$. Wasnt 600 not even close

Stole our truck. Truck broke down on location Monday. Arranged to have parts brought to JR Tuesday at 10. Then JR postponed to 12. Finally at 2:30 he showed. Monday night and Tues, talked a GREAT game. Took Keys, parts. Got estimate Tuesday evening, just a listing of parts.Two odd notes: 1) no address on estimate sheet, just Palm Springs, Riverside, San Diego for address listing. 2) No credit cards accepted.Cash or check only and checks made payable to Paula FisherHUH? What business does this?Apparently more parts were needed. We were told to meet him Wednesday at 8-10 for the repair and you guessed it. Delay, delay delay. Promised truck would be done Wednesday and we did not hear from them. Beginning Wednesday night, we began texting, calling, and emailing. No response, no reply. They now had our $350 AC compressor, the belt, and the keys to the truck. Work truck where we make our living delivering water.Through Thursday we had MULTIPLE people in the office calling, emailing and texting. No reply. Today is Friday. I am preparing to hire a mobile locksmith to break into MY OWN TRUCK to have keys made. Then tow the truck from Palm Springs to Hesperia since the reliable mobile mechanic who made so many promises has disappeared. I was desperate to reach someone. He picked up the phone. Dont make the same mistake I did.

This guys ripped me off. He told me he was a Veteran and could be trusted. He gave me a quote, took a 50% deposit in cash and took my car battery never showed up. After a few calls of him telling me he would get the work done he stopped answering calls. The web address on his business card doesnt exist. The other number of his business card is not even his. Dont trust this guy.

Please do not use these people. They are horrible! They kept my van for almost a month and it was in worse shape then when it went into their shop. They charged me way more than it should have been. These people do not know what they are doing. The guy who answers the phone is a nice guy, but he is full of shxx! Do yourself a favor and call someone else.

They stole my money!Over 3 weeks ago I stopped to get gas in Rancho mirage before driving home to Orange County. My car suddenly wouldn’t start. It was 5pm and all shops were closing. I called Brakemasters as they’re mobile and open 24/7. They came out and decided the issue was a fuel pump (I still have no idea if that’s really the issue) they said they can order the part and fix it next day. I paid by check $593 of the total $800 something quoted so they could order the part. All rental car places were sold out so they told me I can drive the car home because it Eventually started up. The next day i drove to Rancho mirage to have my car repaired. I stopped to grab a quick sandwich when I got into town and left my car on just in case it had issues starting again. I came out and smoke was everywhere and all my coolant was all over the ground. I called Brakemasters right away and they came to see what happened. Now I’m told my control fan module is bad and my coolant tank is cracked. Now I have to get those replaced also. (I don’t know if those parts broke because of something they messed with the day before but it seems like interesting timing.) now I have to pay them an extra $100 to pay for those parts which they offered to get used to save me some money. I had to get a rental car for the rest of the week while they found those parts. Then I’m told Friday they would fix my car or Saturday at the very latest. I return my rental car Saturday morning and wait at my office all day until they finally come around 7-8pm. The first guy needed help so he called Gary who showed up smelling like alcohol. They replaced the fan module with a used one but didn’t come up with a coolant tank. In an attempt to switch out the fuel pump the connectors were broken so they couldn’t do the job. Now it’s 9pm on a Saturday night I have no rental and a car worse than it started. They said they’d fill the coolant tank with water and connect the old fuel pump as best they could so I could get home. Oh and sorry if it smells like gas in your car, also you can’t use the AC because your car can over heat again. I said I’m starting a new job in LA on Tuesday and can’t come back on Monday or Tuesday to fix it in Rancho mirage. Gary says he’ll personally drive to LA if that’s what he has to do because he’s all about making things right. He would be in touch about finding new connectors and get this job done! Well I had to locate the connectors. I never heard from Gary. My car then overheated again because they installed another broken fan module! The other guy said he would come that week with all new parts ... never happened then he would come on Saturday. I get a text late Saturday that’s he’s in San Diego and they’ll just refund my money after rental multiple rental cars and being put off almost 3 weeks! Whatever just give me my money back so I can go elsewhere. Days go by I hear nothing. I reach out and am now told they won’t refund it all because they replaced a module which was broken. I’ve reached out multiple times to both Gary and the other technician and they have completely stopped responding. On 5/17/2018 I will be filing a lawsuit if I’m not refunded today to get my money back as well as damages. Stay away from this scam company!!!

Do not trust them. Car started making screeching noises. Called Mobil Mechanics. Said brake pads need replacement, brake fluid flush, and my engine coil was giving a warning sign to replaced soon. Total: $517. I didnt want the engine coil done since my car was still running fine and wanted to wait to get that done later with someone else. So price went down to $290. Insisted I pay ahead of time so he can pick up the parts by tomorrow. Great, until I walked away to go back to school and let the mechanic hangout near my car as he watched me walk away. Tried to drive the car to move it to a nearby friends house to leave overnight and (surprise) my car didnt want to drive. Turned on, just not the engine. Hm I wonder how my engine suddenly stopped working after I left the mechanic with my car. So I had to abandon my car where it was that evening, called mechanic and said my car wasnt starting. Oh must be that coil, we should get that replaced too Wow, how sleazy to try to get me to pay 517. Now they wont refund me my money and are ignoring my calls. They didnt perform any services! Trying to take advantage of a young student, shame on them.
