This store is absolutely incredible! They always have a grand selection and are on top of helping you reserve new releases so whether you’re just starting a collection or already collecting this store is the real deal for a comic book lover. A pleasant and welcoming staff that gets to know you makes each and every visit a wonderful delight. I will be making my comic purchases here for years to come.

I could go on for hours about Comic Asylum and the amazing environment they have created for comic book lovers. The staff is wonderful and are quick to offer help if needed. The 25 minute drive from my house is more than worth it because it is more than a comic book store. Its a place for conversation, I have been shopping here since the beginning of the year and every week I walk in excited for a new and exciting conversation with anyone there. Not only have I been able to get to know the staff on a comic book related level but on a personal level as well, which to me has been what stands out and why I continue going.

I absolutely love this shop! I constantly seek out comic shops whenever Im in a new city and this is by far one of my favorite shops. The customer service is great and they always have everything Im looking for. I feel like a friend when I walk in to the shop, rather than a customer. Out of all the shops we have in the Valley, this is my favorite! Highly recommend!

Im from out of town and a huge comic book collector so while visiting a friend who lives in the area he asked me if I wanted to check out his local comic shop. I walked in not knowing what to expect and was immediately impressed when the employees knew my friend by name and they started up a conversation with me as if I were one of their close friends. I hadnt planned on buying anything but once I started to look around and see the amount of new issues, variant covers, and almost all of my favorite titles I got roped in. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The shop also had A LOT of variant covers, many of which are near impossible to get in my home area. Next time Im in town I will for sure be coming back

I went here for the first time today. Im a guy who listens to audio retelling of comics and NEVER buy or read comics. That changed today. The Goddess of an owner took the time to help me find what i needed, and explained how tie ins work. Because of her OUTSTANDING customer service and friendly attitude while maintaining perfect professionalism, i will be back. Weekly if possible.Thank you for the little pony comic for my daughter as well :), she is almost 7 and now has her first ever comic to open on her birthday.

Called and asked if they buy comic books? they said yes, told her Id be in. when I got there she told me the person that purchases comic books isnt in and wouldnt be until next week. Why didnt she say that on the phone and save me a trip.

Just starting to get into comics. Messaged them a few questions on Instagram and they got back to me really quick. I went by after work later that same day. Told them I didnt know where to start and they guided me along the way. Super knowledgeable, very friendly and great prices. Ill be back fursure.

Fantastic shop with knowledgeable staff, and I mean super knowledgeable. They will bend over backwards with a true smile, never received such passionate service. EVER. You can loosely describe what youre looking for or simply ask for a recommendation, they got your back.

I would say this shop is definitely a stand-up shop :) It has the elements of a good comic book shop such as a nice and helpful owner that has good knowledge of comics and also the inventory itself is great because the way the comics are stocked are categorized well. If youre a new reader youll find it easy to get into comics if you come here :)

Small place but they seemed pretty nice and helpful. Sat there talking to the lady that worked there for a good thirty minutes or so.

I mean... This place is alright, not like its the best comic book shop in the Coachella valley or anything. Oh wait...But seriously, though. Super helpful and friendly staff. Always eager to answer any question you might have and definitely scratches that collector itch if youre a long-time comic book reader. The store layout is always clean and organized with the backlogs displayed in the middle and to the side of the store. Everything from modern to silver age comics and houses premium statues, from sideshow collectibles, which is great to see.

Ive been a fan of super hero movies and TV shows my entire life. However despite the my love for various characters and their story lines on screen Ive read (and owned) very few comic books in my life, and while Im pretty sure I went to a couple comic book stores as a kid but its been close to 30 years since then. Until today.Ive thought off and on over the years that I should really start reading and collecting comic books. Recently my wife (of 13 years) has expressed a similar interest. On more than one occasion weve say at home watching Big Bang Theory and said to each other why dont we have any comics? We should really go to a comic book store. Well today was one of those days and we decided to turn off the tv and go find one.After a little research we decided on Comic Asylum. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the couple behind the counter (the husband and wife who own the place). We then began excitedly making our various selections and wondering why we waited so long.After a short time the wife of the couple began chatting with us and welcoming us as new customers to her store. When we explained it was not only our first time in her store but in any comic book store she went above and beyond to ask about our interests and help us find stuff wed like. Her husband even joined the conversation to personally recommend a comic based on shared interest with my wife.In just a short time it felt like we were there chatting with old friends, they even generously pulled out a chair for me to sit and rest in when I couldnt stand much longer and my wife wanted to continue sho9pping. I should note here that Im recovering from foot reconstruction surgery and just barely starting to walk again using a cane for balance.We cashed out thrilled with the reasonable price of our selections and promised to return. Which Im sure we will soon as we have already read many of the books we picked up today.
