Don’t bring any Linux based operating systems to this place. I have a perfect condition lenevo ideapad 14 and this dude made me show him how to basically use it made it as easy I can for the guy but at the end of it all wasn’t comfortable to buy it and had the nerve to ask if I can leave my computer there and he’ll give me a call tomorrow when his IT guys looks at it. All because this guy can’t or doesn’t know how to use google ? It was a complete waste of time and gas

Ohhhhhhhh Nooooooo!!! Nooooooo! I’ve been doing business with Pawnshield for years, back when they were trustworthy! However, since they’ve changed management it’s been a battle to keep my property! First, I went to pull my rings out, and they lost the diamond ring. It took days before they found it. I decided to give them another chance, because they were closer to where I was living....HUMONGOUS MISTAKE!! I called to make a payment on my interest owed, and like always they’re having issues with their card reader. I have to drive 2.5 hours to make a cash payment because the manager said I would lose my property unless payment was made in cash! Once I got upset about it he said...”if, I asked nicely ....”. He kept telling me to read my contract, they’re aren’t obligated to take payments over the phone. BAIT and SWITCH, as I specifically ask before I signed the contract if I could make payments on interest over the phone and they assured me this can be done, although it must be cash when retrieving your property. The new management is worse than a used car dealership! SHADY!!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS HERE!!!!!!! Luckily, I just received my Stimulus check, so I’ll be paying to retrieve my property, and then heading over to Rocky’s Pawn (never a problem!)

My first dealing with Pawnshield in Palm Desert was via email asking questions. Alvaro was prompt to respond. Several days later I brought my items in to sell and they were extremely respectful, helpful and fair.

This is a great place to go, always friendly and fair. I do custom jewelry here in the desert and many of my clients trade in gold. Well I really dont like driving to LA all the time. So I found this place and they are fair and fast. Give them a shot before you go anywhere else.

I have sold and pawned a fair amount over the past ten years, interacting with most of the obvious places that apply in the desert. I visited this shop for the first time, had no firm intentions with the items I brought in, depended on what I learned. In the end, I got some good information from someone who was credible, kind and most importantly, didnt bullshit me. We did some business and I left very clear about the transaction and satisfied. I noticed the merchandise for sale was quite nice and not run of the mill like at another local pawn establishment.

I went in there to have my Tag Heuer watch adjusted and I wish I had bought my watch there! They have an amazing selection of fine watches and jewelry. I plan to buy my wife’s next piece with them!

I visited several places that offer to purchase gold prior to visiting Pawnsheild. They let me in and were very professional and courteous. The shop is very nice, well kept and it was obvious to me that this pl;ace focuses on jewelry. I noticed that there were several certificates hanging in public view on the wall. The gentleman behind the counter weighed my jewelry AND calculated the diamond weight in my rings and then made me an offer which was higher than all of the other offers i received. I would not sell my jewelry without having the diamonds factored into the offer. The other shops I went to dont pay for small diamonds?? Really?? I highly recommend this shop to anyone seeking professional advice or wanting to sell their jewelry for a fair price!
