The store on Varner Rd is the most organized and most pleasant place to shop at I have ever experienced in my nearly 80 years. The staff is helpful and welcoming. The shelves are so well stocked and neat it is easy to find any product. As always the meats are the best. Neat clean wide isles make shopping a pleasure

Clean, organized store. The produce was fresh! Lots of alcohol to choose from as well, if thats your thing.

Produce is sub par -lettuce seems tired, bruised fruit, brown spots on brussels sprouts and overall limited selection. The rest of the store is great. Please step up your produce dept for the sake of the Sun City community!

As a Palm Desert native, Stater Brothers Market has always been my go to choice of all the local markets, with the occasional dabble into others. It sincerely saddens me to say that in the recent months I have found myself choosing this store less and less. I see far less familiar faces now and have noticed a drastic change since the change in store management. I sincerely hope there is a chance within this store, so one day hopefully I can return to such a comfortable and warm environment, until then I will choose other markets to do my weekly shopping.

Had to get some baby food for my granddaughter. First time in that store. Found the baby food. Was fully stocked and had no problem finding what I needed.Went to check out, cashier was nice, friendly. He had to get some stuff behind a locked glass door. He knew right where it was. Good service

I love this store, they have the most beautiful floral arrangements, and the flowers last anywhere to 8 to 12 days staff is always helpful and friendly, products are well displayed, store is so clean, but be warned....this location is located where many elder people live; think retired age, so be wary when looking for a parking space. And be careful when crossing the road.

When I saw the golf carts at the store I knew I was in the right place the beef here is spectacular the butcher knows his business. I love beef and thats all I eat. Promote beef run over a chicken

Cheapest prices on this side of town. I wont subtract a star, but their flower section sucks and I have to go to trader Joes or Albertsons to get my wife flowers

I like this store and the staff. Everyone is helpful. The store is generally pretty well stocked and always clean. I really dont like the parking lot. You have to have eyes in the back of your head. Say a prayer and hope for the best!

Staters still has the best employees! I have shopped at stater bros over 40 years, and still, no matter which location you visit; theyre all set up identically (so you always know where things are!!)

Stater Bros Market is wonderful!! I just love shopping there! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. And they keep the shelves neat and always fresh produce. And, its very clean as well!!

Clean store, quick check out lanes, decent prices and quality selection of produce. I personally like shopping at Stater bros because they are usually the only ones major supermarkets that carry fresh bitter melon and okra.

This terrible experience just keeps on replaying in my head.9/27/2020 At 10:50am I went to stater brothers to purchase some tide for my client ( I’m a caregiver ).I wasn’t wearing my scrubs like I usually do because I worked a 12 hour night shift prior, my hair was in a messy bun and I didn’t look my best.As I’m going to pay, my card declined because I didn’t have enough in the card to pay for the tide, so the cashier ( Richard K ) asks me if I have another card, I said “ no, but I have cash “ so I pull out a $100 bill and he said “ oh 😯 “ in a very Shocked/surprised tone as if someone like me isn’t capable of having money.

I went to their store on Washington and Varner and I really liked it. It had a meat department and the deli and I got fresh shrimp.

Was extremely disappointed on my visit on 4/25/20. There doesnt seem to be sanitizing done of carts, no wipes available to sanitize our own. While I was waiting for my husband to pick me up ( I was masked) a woman walked in with no mask. She approached a gentleman worker and asked for directions to something. The gentleman didnt stop her, he just pointed to what she was looking for. We have been staying home and first time out in forever. Always use your store but not going to for quite some time after this experience.

Stater Bros. is a major grocery operator in Riverside county. This is a very nice store. A large enough store to carry an excellent variety of items. The produce and floral departments are well run with good selection and quality. The meat department is especially good with a large counter area and real meat cutters providing excellent service.
