I didnt know this shop existed when we pulled into the parking lot. Im so glad we did, because I found the deal of a lifetime. A diamond in the ruff. A beautiful acoustic guitar. Full sized, cutaway, and clean. I have never been so completely satisfied with a guitar purchase as I am with this. Great store, and the owner is friendly and funny. I will be returning.

Before you head to guitar center or Sam ash(and I loveee Sam ash) check these guys out. The dude there is super cool and knowledgeable, they have a decent amount of inventory and do not overcharge despite being a local business. Great store, I like checking them out every month or so cause they always have new gear!

I totally forgot to leave a review about a year ago so here it is. Johnny came to my home about a year ago to clean up and tune a very old baby grand piano. He did a WONDERFUL job. Fare price and great work. Were now in the market for guitar lessons and restringing and Jim Terry Music is our first stop.

Been going here for my music supplies since elementary school. The gentleman who runs it is extremely helpful, intelligent, and caring. I will definitely continue to go there, and i would recommend it to anyone of any age.

Jim Terry Music is the best music store in the Tampa Bay area, especially for repairs and that hard to find accessory. His luthier is just that, a trained luthier named Johnny Bravo adept and experienced in all manners of instrument repair and renovation. You can trust what he and owner Jim Terry tell you about any instrument for sale. They will not perform unnecessary repairs. Both are excellenbt musicians, bythe way, and they operate in the way that musicians like to be trfeated in a music store. The srtore is also a bgi supporter of WMNF!
