Since Covid, I’ve done 95% of my shopping online which unfortunately causes the chance of having multiple returns.. but everyone in the store is so nice and helpful it makes it not so bad of an errand to run . They have printed out the most beautiful invites for me and remember my 3 year old daughter by name which makes it even better for her to have to go Into a store. This location is by far the best!

I have had two large packages of items that I sold in the last month to mail. I went to all three different places (post office, fed ex and ups) to compare prices (because they were both large items to ship). UPS (in Palmetto, Fl) was the best price both times. I also use this store for Amazon returns and they are always super fast and efficient. It has new owners/managers and has been pleasantly upgraded inside as well!

I use this UPS Store for Amazon drop-offs regularly but will not in the future. They probably dont care though. For the employee who accepted my return today and slapped the shipping label on the box, I contacted Amazon and they assured me you were wrong. I assure you your rude attitude was wrong. The have a Happy Thanksgiving after you realized it didnt change how you acted.
I am very pleased with the new ownership. The store looks great. Sheila was very helpful with my pack and ship for Christmas. Amazon Prime returns could not be any easier. Thank you again for coming to Palmetto.

The gentlemen that works behind the counter are rude. I went there to do 5 Amazon returns and they were rude and disrespectful. I asked them for some tape to close the packages and one replied “ I cannot keep giving you tape.” They all had Amazon Return codes in my Amazon app that the UPS clerk has to scan and they the actual shipping label will print so I cannot close the boxes until I can verify what item is in which amazon box. After being spoken down to I went to the dollar store next door and buy a 2 roll for $1 and have it to them. BEST ADVISE, FIND A DIFFERENT STORE TO GIVE YOUR MONEY TO. I started using the UPS store on Manatee Ave West, just a few miles away and they are happy to tape my boxes close no questions asked.

Reckless that the delivery driver to a MEDICAL FACILITY 1.4 miles away REFUSED to put on a mask, requiring staff to stop what they were doing to go outside and get the packages from them. Witnessed this today and was SHOCKED (the facility checks everyone elses health status, including temperature, at the door and offers afree mask to those who arrive without one).So disappointing that the driver would rather WAIT OUT FRONT while medical staff figures out how to safely retrieve the packages from them than put on a free mask to prevent potentially spreading disease. All PATIENTS and STAFF are THOROUGHLY SCREENED before entrance, due to the high number of immunocompromised patients and NECESSARY medical staff. I really hope that the facility reaches outnout and files an official complaint.Wildly selfish. VERY disappointing.
The people here are courteous, efficient and the store is clean and well stocked. Best one in the area.
Completely unhelpful and blame the situation on the fact that they are a franchise, and independently owned If you argue with them about their shipping costs, they will find ways to tac on more charges and increase your costs. Go out of your way to not go here, otherwise you will be dissapointed! UPS corporate could care less what their franchises do, so no point in contacting them.....
This UPS store gives excellent service, they act professional and are courteous.
Previous owner flat didnt care. No investment in equipment (internet access) or the ONE employee - except when spelled by the owners relative. The place was a mess. BUT, in decades in the business world I NEVER received better, conscientious customer care than I received here. New owners now. Marco was ousted the first day. What the new owners didnt like came from the previous owner, not from Marco. The store (it is now definitely a store where you are there to spend money) is updated, neat, and pristine. Whether or not I come to rely fully on them remains to be seen. While the new owners deserve a chance, they seem to have made their staffing decision on a shallow appraisal of the situation they walked into; well see if thats a pattern.
Marco has helped me with multiple shipments, matching packing materials to the items to get the lowest rate. Hes friendly and helpful on the phone and in person. Dont believe all the negative reviews because he changed his hours (!). Great locally owned business.

The website says they open at 9:00 on Saturday but the door sign says 10:00 and is correct. The helpful employee said the owner knows the website hours are wrong but apparently has no interest in correcting. Reward the owners crappy attitude by taking your business elsewhere.
The guy behind the counter is rude. And the store at times closes randomly during business hours. This has happened to me personally three different times. Note on sort stating will be back ...but that’s also a moving target, comes back but not on time. Perhaps hiring an on-call person to cover those times when you are unable to remain open would help your reputation. I am done and taking my business elsewhere.
Another example of the pattern of how the owner of this place doesnt give a damn about his customers. A sign on the door tells us that the store is run by one of our neighbors. I guess our neighbor doesnt really care about us at all. Their own website says that the store is open at 8:00 am. But when you arrive, the sign on the door says 9:00 AM. As was said in an earlier post, Dont patronize this place. I took my package to the Post Office. You have to wonder how well they handle customers packages, if they cant even bother to update their website. UPS should be ashamed the they allow such a business to operate under their name.
Service is more important to me then complaining about opening and closing time plus who cares about the owner i care about how the workers treat me and my business while i do business with them - Marco delivers great service and thats what count the employees Keep up the good customer service Marco !!! thanks for 9 years of GREAT Service to the community !!!!
Ensure that the clerk does not deliberately over-measure the size of your box. You should premeasure it and then confront him if he does.

Worst UPS store ever! Horrible service, service clerk refused to accept international package because he says he doesnt have to, and he said he said he doesntt work for UPS and for him doesnt matter what they say...
Bad employees
If you have store hours you should ahere to them so people dont drive all the way there to find a sign on the door saying you closed early.
Marco the guy that helped me couldnt have been nicer & more thoughtful. He suggested a way to ship where it saved me alot of money and packed everything up for me!
