I didnt purchase anything yet but the vibes are amazing. they have wonderful selection of board games, magic the gathering cards, and comics including some for a $1. They had an area in the back set up for magic battles and may have other types of game nights as well. locally owned and definitely adult friendly but kid friendly. I will definitely be back in when I have some spending money.

Fun place, the guy working behind the counter was really cool.

The store looked cool but the short guy was rude and a smart elick. We had never been to this comic place before so we asked about a product. (If they ever get it or anything). He acted like we were stupid for asking a question. Needless to say I didn’t buy anything and probably won’t. Learn to be nice to your customers, we are going to ask questions if we’re new!

Im new to the area and felt very welcome since day one.Ive collected comics since 1975, however I had a 22 year lay off.I have a very difficult Pull list but my expectations have been met every time.James is very knowledgeable and the staff is tops.This is now MY Local Comic Shop.

They have a good selection but they can order items of interest like this Star Wars 30th Collectors Edition RPG. They are friendly and great you when you walk in with a smile. The biggest draw is they have half their store open for gaming. Its great to buy a game and then play right away.

Very friendly employees and welcoming atmosphere. I was very pleased to see they host meetings for a variety of different card and role playing games with plenty of room, and the players at these meetings are of all ages and walks of life. Its a nice place to just go and have fun. Also, their merchandise selection is more than adequate.

This place is a lovely game shop and very welcoming. Their Friday Magic tournaments are friendly and while their is some competition they are very helpful to new players. They have great stock and an area to play the games as well. They have dice, boardgames, comics, rulebooks, magic packs, individual cards, and plenty more. The owners are lovely and honestly any time I have stopped in I have a great time.

I love this shop so much. The first time I went in the staff treated me so well and didnt hesitate to help me set up a pull list (which is something that the other shops in town never even offered to do.) By my second visit, the boss knew my name and was making recommendations based on my pull list. Every time I visited, the staff made me feel so welcome. I cant say enough about the service, and the comics selection is excellent, as well. The other shops around PC can be pretty inconsistent with their stock, but I never missed an issue here. I cant speak to the tabletop gaming, but I do know that whenever I visit everyone seems to be having a good time. All in all, its just an outstanding comic shop experience! Please give them all of your money.

This is a really great store. They have a great selection of comics, games, figurines ect. Plenty of gaming tables which always seem to have some activity at them (at least the 3 different times I have been in over the last two months)What brought me in was the new edition of D&D. I decided I was going to support local business instead of buying them online and I am glad I did. The owner James was a very nice man and offered lots of details about the new version of D&D. He even invited me to play D&D at the stores weekly Wednesday night D&D Encounters. I could tell he honestly enjoys what hes doing.

Large selection of comics, toys, plushies, board games, and an area for tabletop gaming in the back. Very inviting, friendly staff. They sell pokemon plushies and figurines too!

This is mainly a gaming store, less comics. Theres tons of tables set up for table-top and card cames. The comic section is pretty small and cramped, but the new releases are in a good setup. For what the places is, its really awesome, but I give it 4 stars because I think they could use another 600-1000 square feet to give the place some walking room.

I have been going to this card shop(and others) for years and Arena Comics is by far the BEST card and comic shop for miles! The customer service is amazing and they remember your name interests. They also have an amazing gaming area which you can play role-playing games on Wednesday, Magic The Gathering events and free play on Friday, Saturday, and some Sundays, Cardfight Vanguard on Saturdays and multiple other games and events for patrons or people passing thru. Definitely a business worth checking out and who knows, you might find yourself as in love with this sanctuary for nerds as I do.

Plenty of room, staff were nice, and well-loved by its players. There wasnt a whole lot of Yu-Gi-Oh which is one of the primary things I stopped there for, but they did have plenty of DnD stock, minis included.Plenty of Magic, Pokemon, and Vanguard players there. I thought I spied a 40k group out of the corner of my eye, but I could be mistaken. Definitely an mid to late afternoon place. Stop by around 1 or 2 on a weekend to get your fix.

Best store in bay county!

I dont normally write reviews, but I felt it was well worth it this time. It is so hard to find a good comic shop these days, and Arena really impressed me. James was a great guy to talk to, and he was very knowledgeable about his customers, as well as making sure that people got to know each other at his store. He had a great selection, and I felt like he actually cared about my wife and I being there. If we lived in the area I would definitely make Arena a regular stop. I know that every time we visit the area there WILL be a trip here. Awesome store, I cant say enough good things about it!

They have some of the best comics and magic the gathering and vanguard players around both in skill and the fact that they are all around nice people. Arena Comics is easily the best comic shop in panama city.

A really great shop that has most everything youre lookin for, and if its not in stock James(the owner) can probably get it for you. Im the new guy here, just started in on a D&D group for the first time, and everyones been really helpful and courteous. This place obviously attracts mostly the better like-minded of us, meaning there isnt really anything to get in the way of you just enjoying your favorite addiction. Also, Im not a Magic player myself, but from the others here Ive been informed that unlike other places there is no cheating in tournaments, teams are chosen at random with no favoritism. Also regulars are rewarded in certain ways just for being regulars... Its a very old school and relaxed place, so check it out.

Im a local and when I heard about Arena Comics about two years ago, I had to stop in. I was sold on the friendly owner and other comic shop goers. The owner knew me by name after only a couple of trips in. And has been helpful with helping me find comics and other things. I believe anyone looking for a friendly comic shop time, should go to Arena Comics.

My family and I stay at PCB rental house for one week for vacation from Texas. On rainy day, Tuesday July 23, 2019, I went your store at about 4pm and a lady told me that store closed due to construction but I am inside store. I told her I didnt know and I am on vacation. She said to come back tmw. Ugh. I drove 30 minutes for nothing.

Wen i walked in they did not say anything to me but they had lots to pick from and wen i payed the man was nice. good over all i just wish they talked to new customers.

I thought the person that was working there was rude because she snapped at me and called me rude because I looked at one book for too long. When browsing you are only allowed to pick out books on face value apperently. Its Alright, but being called rude while browsing has turned me off, everything would have been completely fine if I hadnt been insulted and just told that I wasnt allowed to read the books. But I guess I wont fault the store entirely on the one worker. Also sometimes people just talk and dont realize how its coming out so not a big deal. Still an ok selecting so 3 stars.

Comic shops in Panama City are extremely lacking in selection. This place is no different. The comics I were looking for where in the broken drawer and nobody was interested in fixing it. So I left empty handed and will never be back.
