My experience was a very good one.They are conveniently located. My blinker was out and they replaced it for me. Apparently I had a few other lights out that they also fixed. He was done in a timely manner, and the gentleman was polite and informative. The price was not absorbitant.I highly recommend Tuffy Tire and Auto Service.

Editing my previous review, bc after paying 100.00 for a diagnostic, and being told what was wrong with my car, turned out to be completely incorrect, not so much for being incorrect, but for the condescending way I was treated. I was told it was the Muti-plex unit, and the part # was listed on the receipt. I researched the part and the install online. I ordered the genuine Honda part and installed it, only to have it do absolutely nothing to fix the problem. I went back in to inquire if it was possible that the part in question (drivers side) maybe wasnt the part that needed to be replaced, and is it possible that it was the passenger side that was faulty? I was told by Eric, that he needed to speak with his technician and could I come back tomorrow. I said no problem and when I did come back, I was told by Eric that ooops, after speaking with the tech, he didnt put down on the receipt that it was indeed both multi plexes that were bad.. . I asked him for the part # and once again I ordered a new multiplex unit, this time for the passenger side. I was not really surprised when the part was installed that it also did absolutely nothing to fix the problem. I called Tuffy back and once again spoke with Eric, who told me that thats the problem when customers order their own parts. funny, I was thinking the problem wasnt me ordering the part and installing it myself, but more that the car wasnt diagnosed correctly, and then I was lied to about the other side being the problem. I wasnt aware that I was obligated to have my car fixed there just because I have it diagnosed there. Eric asked what do you want me to do about it I said I just wanted to know what is wrong with my car... he said I could bring it back so they could look at it... uuuuuuuuuhhhhh, you told me one part, then another part, you lied to me,, and you expect me to trust you to actually tell me whats wrong with my car a third time?? What did my $100.00 diagnosis fee pay for???? If you didnt know what was wrong with it, then just say so. Im in this for over 300.00 for 2 unnecessary parts i cant return & a waste of 100.00 I paid to tell me false info. Ive used Tuffy before for oil changes over the years, but would never ever again go there for anything....Buyer beware, just go to the dealer next time, save yourself the BS..Ok, was able to get appt quick, took over an hr to diagnose the problem, quote to fix was kind of high. Almost 300.00 part, that. I ended up ordering online for 83.00.. I know they have to make $$, but wow!!.

The sales manager is who helped me. He answered all my questions. When additional services were suggested, I like the way he put his self in the position. He said I wont put it back in my car. Very friendly, quick, knowledgeable and personable. I was able to bring in my own oil and filter, which not a lot of places will let you do. I would suggest to anyone and will be returning again.

Great car fix-it place. I just showed up 30 min after their official closing time with a flat tire. They stayed late for me and the patched it right away! I have used them for my last two cars and they have always been so helpful and fast. Really nice owner. Can’t recommend it enough!

BEWARE! I used to be a repeating customer to this shop for the past year, but I can’t bring myself to come back here again because they don’t always cover their warranties. About a couple weeks ago I brought my 2006 Honda Civic LX over to get all of the engine and transmission mounts and a power steering pump replaced again because the mounts were not doing a good job preventing vibration like they were supposed to and the pump was making excessive noise. These parts were installed several months ago, so they should’ve been covered under warranty.I would like to mention that the vibrations occurred right after they installed these known mounts, but when this was pointed out, they claimed that they didn’t know the issue. They still made the same claim when I visited again even though I took the car to two other shops (Exclusive Repair and Prime Auto). They both confirmed that it was the aftermarket mounts that were causing the vibrations. Despite telling them this, they were still not willing to replace them. They also made excuses that they feared that the vibration would still occur even if they replaced them with OEM parts, and they didn’t want me to pay about $1,000 to get it done, even though it was their decision in the first place to buy those cheap aftermarket mounts. To add to this, Tuffy was perfectly willing to replace the bad power steering pump with a better quality one, and they did. While the newer pump is better, it’s very odd that they were willing to pay more for a newer pump, but they weren’t willing to do the same for the OEM mounts.I took the car back to Prime Auto, they replaced the bad engine mounts with new OEM ones (still kept the transmission mount in), and now there’s no more vibration. That cost me $992.15. No offense, but the fact that this shop couldn’t figure out something like this should prove what their level of expertise is. If you choose to go to this shop or any other Tuffy, be cautious. They are willing to choose cheap parts for your car, are inconsistent with their warranties, and are willing to let you be with your car problems no matter if youre a loyal customer.

Had 3 inches of pipe put in to repair a broken exhaust,wanted to set up an appointment and was told to leave it and 8 and half hours later finally repaired and paid $180 please dont go here go to a locally non corporate shop.

Doug and his crew has done amazing work on my 05 Mazda Tribute. Very honest shop. Always easy to get in and out of. Great prices and service. Also worked on my daughters car received the same great price and service. I would recommend this shop and Ill definitely go back for my next repair. Jerry

Came is as a walk in brakes were grinding. They took me right in and went through my car. Also found other bad parts and gave me a total estimate. Went in for oil change. Asked to check tire keeps going low. Said tire needed to be replaced couldnt fix. High price for new tire. Took to another place they said nail right in the middle of tire and it can be plugged. No need for new tire. This is a shoddy place. 2 stars too high but a little credit for oil change

My brakes went bad on my car. The guys here got me back up and running at a very reasonable price. Staff was very friendly and the work was done fast and efficiently. I cant recommend anyone else higher. 100/10 will go here again for service.

I have never had such a positive experience getting my car worked on anywhere. When another shop kept me waiting, overcharged me and then failed to fix the issue, these guys not only fixed the issue, but did it for a reasonable price and were fast.Both of the gentlemen I spoke with were great, knew their stuff and were so pleasant. They explained the issue to me in a way that was easy to understand without talking down to me.I wish Id have gone here first.

I took my hyundai Tucson in a few weeks ago to get a second opinion about pricing. I worked with Joseph Blevins, who not only beat the price of the first place I went to, he also gave me a deal on the rest of the work that I need done. He was able to replace what I needed just in time, and I feel much safer now. Great service.

These guys were awesome. I normally change my own oil and I had a filter that was stuck on. I asked them if they would put it on their rack and loosen it so I could change my oil. They did and then they told me no cost. I still gave them a tip because it was worth it to me and they didnt have to do that. Seems like a great bunch of guys.

Dont go over charge for oil change

Went in today to find out if my power steering pump was bad or not the checked it out and told me how much it would cost to fix the guy was very straightforward and honest I dont have the money to get it fixed but I appreciate the fact that they were honest and to the point

Called this morning and they got me right in and within an hour figured out what was wrong with my car. Doug the Manager was HONEST & thats always a plus! The wait wasnt long for the fix that needed to be done. Good pricing and makes you feel comfortable while waiting.

This is the best place to get your car fixed! They fixed only the problem we went in for, they didnt push any other fixes or repairs. They had the job done in one day and they were very courteous and helpful! I would recommend them every time!

Joe always takes great care of our vehicles. Tuffys is the only shop in town that still allows you to bring in your own parts and get a cash discount. I will always bring my business here time and time again.

I went in for an oil change today. I have been on the hunt for a new car care shop and I definitely have found them. They didn’t try to make me buy a lot of unnecessary products or services. They were honest, quick, and friendly. I look forward to tasking them with all my car needs.Wherever you live in the Omaha metro, it is worth the drive for their service!

If leaving less than 1 star was an option, I was not going to leave a review, but later decided I must. I recommend ANYWHERE other than here. This place is ran by crooks. I have read past reviews and I do not believe them either. Very very poor management. I went up the street to Tires Plus and received an oil change for half the price with exceptional service. Thank you Tires Plus for doing what Tuffys could not, a simple oil change.

Tuffys is my go-to whenever I need car repairs or even just an oil change, they have a solid team and do great work. I had to have extensive repairs done and they were with me every step of the way. Tony called me on a regular basis to update me and when additional issues came up he discussed my options with me including cost, whether something could wait and explained anything I had questions about. At the end of the day my car drove like a dream, andI cant recommend the Papillion Tuffy Team enough.

We brought our sons 86 Bronco II in for repairs on a muffler and exhaust. Once it was repaired, multiple other problems arose, as they do with old vehicles or any that have been running improperly for quite a while. They were not ignored and we were not charged an arm and a leg for the new issues. I was very happy with the service and attention to detail that was given to the vehicle and appreciative that Doug gave us an amazing deal to soften the blow on ours and our sons wallets. The vehicle runs great and were so happy with the service, we promptly brought my mothers car in to get repaired as well. Next will be our other two vehicles!

I left my truck early drop off for an oil change intending to pick it up after work. I was stuck in heavy traffic on the way to pick up my truck after an oil change. Amazingly the manager Doug waited for me to arrive and was extremely easy to work with he even gave me another option to get the vehicle after hours if needed. We take our 3 cars here often for service or oil changes and have had decent service, but when Doug took over it has gone to amazing service! I really appreciate Doug being such a genuine person, he just earned our full trust and business.

I asked for a the $19.99 oil change and tire rotation special on 26 June at 4:15PM. The service tech tried to get me to upgrade to a more expensive oil change, which is normal and annoying, that I declined and again reminded him that I wanted my tires rotated.The service tech said that he would see if the tires on my truck needed rotated. I then received a call saying that my lower control arms needed replaced and it would cost $894 to replace the them and align the truck. I declined the repair option and again repeated to a different service tech that all I wanted was the oil changed and my tires rotated. When I went to pick up my truck they had not rotated the tires because they said that they didnt want to ruin another tire with the rotation of a good tire to side with a bad control arm. The last oil change and apparent tire rotation was also performed at the same Tuffys. Im disappointment that I had asked three times to get my tires rotated and the service techs failed to follow through with my request. I also believe this Tuffys failed to rotate my tires during my last oil change. While I have no proof, there were no finger prints on the wheels and 5 days later when I changed the brakes (a discrepancy from a 2018 oil change at this same Tuffys) the tires were stuck to the hub assemblies. Im not looking for a refund or free oil change just never want to take my business to this establishment again. So angry I actually sat down to type this out which I NEVER do. I guess Im changing the control arms and rotating my own tires this weekend. Thanks

I walked in and he was on the phone with a concerned customer and offered them to come in and double check their vehicle to see what they see. I just came in for a easy oil change and they got me done in less than an hour. Whatever bad past you may have had here, its no longer the same. I recommend coming in again!

Poor. Went in for coolant and was told I needed a head gasket before anyone raised the hood of my car. Rip off......I have since talked to the manager Doug and my situation occurred with past Manager and staff. Tuffy is trying to rebuild a better reputation and I was impressed with the new managers attitude and work ethic. I will consider using Tuffy again because its convenient and Doug is trying to rectify past problems.

Hidden Treasure!Heard a squeal under my car, called Tuffy Tire late and they said to run it by and they would look at it prior to closing. I was informed my car was not safe, I was then given an estimate. I explained I was out of town and needed to get home. They scheduled me in the next day, when I picked my car up, it was pointed out that other work should be done. They offered me 12 month no interest financing. When I asked when they could do the work, they said now. Despite having families at home, they stayed past 6:30 pm to see me out the door. My car runs like a charm. Located in the same lot as Home Depot and Target in Papillion, NE.

I walked in, was greeted with a handshake by The Store Manager (Mike). I discussed my issue with him. He listened, understood what was going on with my car and immediately outlined a plan to diagnose and correct the problem. I left my car and let them take charge. Within a few hours, MIke telephoned me with diagnostic results, a plan to correct, and an estimate of costs. A couple hours later, I get a call telling me, your Caddy is ready to go. I returned, met Damian and Carl. Great group of guys working that shop. Personable, knowledgeable, and professional. As a customer, I was treated with respect. I even received a discount as a Military Retiree! Half the employees are also Veterans. Great experience with Tuffy!

Showed up to Tuffys for an oil change and transmission fluid replacement. I asked Joseph if they were busy and had time to get me in. His reply was, “does it look like we are busy? I am just joking with you.” There was no one in the store at this point and 3 cars already in the shop. How would I know if they were “busy” or slow? I should have turned around and walked away. That’s my fault right there. In a business, you should be kind and polite to each customer, not a smart a**. Will not be going back to that location because of this.

Ever since Doug left this place it has been nothing but trouble. When they ask for a fuel flush dont fall for it. Theyll rip you. I advise you to go somewhere else. Dont waste your time or money here. Your wallet deserves better.

I just had my third oil change at Tuffy, and every time I’ve been really happy with their service. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I’ve never had an unpleasant experience here.

I stopped in yesterday with a coupon for $19.99 oil change and tire rotation. The gentleman at the counter (Joseph) was very pushy with the necessity of my car needing a full synthetic oil change. I gave in to the additional cost of the oil change but his computer was not working properly so he was not able to put my full information into the computer. I walked to Target and shortly after arriving I received a call from the manager Joe explaining that my filters where dirty and my brakes where very bad. I walked back up the hill while talking to my husband explaining that something is wrong with my brakes. I then handed my phone to Joe so that my husband could speak to Joe and explain that the brake pads and brake rotors had been replaced less than a month ago along with the filters. Needless to say, I paid the $60 for my oil change and never even got a receipt.Tuffy is just another ripoff repair shop trying to take advantage of a woman.

I had a tow scheduled to be taken to Tuffys in Papillion. I asked the gentleman behind the counter what bay he would like it in. The showroom wreaked of marijuana smoke and he seemed to intoxicated to answer me straight. I walked out, called my customer and we towed he vehicle down the hill to Brazina repair where I can confidently say they will be taken care of and not jerked around. I called another Tuffy store and was told this was a corporate owned shop and they are a bunch of clowns. (could not agree more)

I have been to this location a few times for oil changes, I live out of town, the last time that I was in town Mike was the Manager! So it has clearly been a while, I came in a couple of weeks back a guy by the name of Dustin apparently is the new manager and a young kid named Lo( or thats what his shirt says, works at the front desk. Both of them did not seem to care about my needs for what I wanted done to my vehicle. I just got the impression that all they wanted was my money to make a sale. Lo was very rude and I just felt like they were trying to push me out the door because they had a shop full of cars, maybe they were too busy?I am 56 years old and have been taking my cars to different shops for a long time and I have never had this bad of a experience or felt like my needs were not being met. I do not recommend this shop too anyone! I do not want too take time out of my day to go and sit a shop where I feel like the employees do not care and they are on their cell phones more than they are working. How do you expect a business to be successful when your own employees are not even doing there jobs and want to socialize and be on there phones? very dissapointed!

Check my truck in here to fix a check engine light told me it was this problem and charged me $400 to fix it and it ended up not fixing the issue. I did some research after I left and it ended up being a $15 part on the gas cap.I would try and fix whatever your cars problem is yourself before you take it to these guys. I spent over $400 to not fix the problem. Complete waste of time and my money.

Car stunk, and grease stains were left behind when we picked up the car, had to deal with the district manager to get the grease cleaned and even the detail shop who cleaned it was surprised by how much grease was wiped in the car

I got my cars oil changed and tires filled and it was easy to schedule, service was fast and friendly, and it was appropriately priced. Ill definitely be back.

If you want your car fixed and for good price, DO NOT go to Tuffy. They will run circles around the repair charging you for them to guess and check (-Tuffy Manager) to find and fix the problem. I dont know about anyone else, but guess and check sounds like wasting money to fix things that arent the problem. Several weeks later and -$1500, still not fixed.

Yesterday I brought my car in for an oil change and the black guy at the counter helped me and went over things that was wrong with my car. He was polite and very attentive to me and the other customers that were there. I will be continuing my services here for sure!

I went in with my mother in laws car and was very impressed not only the service but on how they were treating the other customers and myself. I have been bringing my truck to Tuffys in Papillion for a little over a month. Doug is very friendly and professional and always ensures that the repairs are taken care of quickly and thoroughly. He never overcharges me like many other shops do. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!!!

First time there. Customer service was good but the gentleman that moved my v.w. from the garage didnt bother cleaning his hands and that cuased my steering wheel to become all chalky with the oil grit that took about 6 hours to get rid of. But as far as the business gies. Kudos to the men.... great work and excellent service.

First time stopping here. My wiper wasn’t working was neevous it was something that needed a big fix. It was raing now so needed to get it fixed. Nope, simply needed bolt tightened. Thankful he didn’t try to pull my car in and say it was something more ! Will definitely be back for an oil change.

I want to say thank you to the manager and mechanic at Tuffys. I went in because I had an alert that an oil change was required. They got me in right away, and soon after the mechanic came back and said my oil was clean and full. Turns out when I got my prior oil change they didnt reset my notifications. The manager told him to still top off my fluids and they didnt charge me. I will definitely be back. Integrity and honesty is hard to find these days, and they have both! Thanks again

We have never gotten such great customer service and quick service.My husband made an appointment at another place and I thought it was here. Upon coming in, Doug advised me that it was. It here, but they would help me immediately.I walked over to Target and did some shopping while they did my oil change. While I was there, he called me to tell me I needed a headlight and a break light replaced as well. He did them as well. He even called me to let me know that the truck was ready.Great QUICK service. Kris was very helpful in figuring out why my Mazda was flashing lights when I pushed on my brakes. Although he couldn’t fix the issue because it was a software issue with the company, he provided the documentation that I needed to bring to the dealership to show that it was an ongoing problem with my particular car.

Service is good. Location- Having a Target and a Home Depot next door is nice for multitasking.

Oil change and tire rotation was a good offer.But I did not like them trying to tell me I needed 4 new tires for my vehicle! There was nothing wrong with the tires on it, 2 of them were no more than a year old! The tires wear indicators were nowhere near the indicator tabs in the treat for worn tires. I told them they were full of craps! since it so outrageous to try and con me into buying tires. I WILL NOT BE BACK, nor recommend anyone I know to go there.

I have taken my jeep there for a while and have not had issues. My husband took his car in and needed to get two new tires (that we had already) put on the car. They took it back and after an hour they came out and said they got it taken care of. The young black guy up front charged my husband for the two tires like agreed upon. Came home to find that they only changed ONE tire. And worst of all they kept the other tire. It is now sunday and they are closed so now my husband has to miss some work on Monday to go fight with them over this. Disappointed and hoping that this will be resolved by tuffys the right way.
