So, my son has cerebral palsy, they took his prescription for his new chair. They gave us a standard chair and because he turned 18 I assumed that was all he could receive. In October they told us to pick up the chair which we did. They began calling me saying they needed his pcp to sign off on him needing a new chair which he did. Fast forward to a few days before Christmas, they called to say they couldnt provide him with the chair he needed and rudely told me I could either buy the one they gave us or return it. I said that because they took his prescription we had not worked with any other company and it would take months to get him a new chair but it didnt matter to them so today I am returning their chair and my son will have no way to get around until I am able to get another prescription and have another company provide the chair. This is worst possible place to work when your child needs any type of assistive device. They are rude and heartless and I hope they get all they deserve.
I was slightly confused my first visit at Affordable Medical. Was greeted, put at ease, educated, and making my choices nicely.
