This Target location is part of the Bergan Town Shopping Mall with tons of other shops like Marshalls, Century 21, Whole Foods, Nike Outlet, and more. Theres ample parking but the most convent spaces are often hard to come by. The store is most clean and they have restrooms by the entrance. The staff is professional and friendly although they could improve in their in-store pickup performance. Items for an online order can be stored in multiple locations, which is very odd. For my most recent store pickup, the store associated had to go to 3 different location to fetch items from my order and they still managed to miss 2 items because the way they arranged things made it hard for them to find.
Beatrice the cashier made my experience at Target absolutely wonderful! Beatrice was super sweet and helped me join target circle which was something very new to me. All the products were easy to find and the store was maintained very clean. I would definitely recommend this location!
Great place to shop, its right in the Bergen Mall. You can buy your clothes there, and then go food shopping at the same time.
I went down to the Halloween seasonal section today and picked up some things while I was waiting for my wife. The staff member there was absolutely rude! I nicely asked if there were any goodie bags and she replied with “Nope, I had plenty but now I’m out. People shouldn’t come last minute and expect things are fully stocked”She’s clearly unhappy at her job and took it out on a customer. Normally I’d let this slide but the chip on her shoulder bordered on crazy and all I could think of was what if she acted this way to another person just asking for help.I spoke to a manager but unfortunately they didn’t ask for the employees name and I have serious doubts they followed up to discipline the employee. So sad because I’ve come to this store for years and never had this kind of negative experience.
I needed formula for an out of the country trip with my newborn baby. They just changed the policy to only 4 bottles per customer but I needed more so I spoke to the mgr. I explained that I would really appreciate her making an exception and the store was so full I could go out and come back and and no one would notice. I could also order as many as I wanted on the app and I asked her to please allow me to buy more. She allowed me two more bottles but not before Jayden, the security child, threatened to tell ALL of the cashiers not to sell me formula ever again. He had a threatening tone. He acted like I was stealing. I explained I was paying for the formula and I should not be treated that way over purchasing formula. I asked his name and he would not respond and eventually showed me his name tag. His behavior was unprofessional, rude and threatening. I felt harassed. Baby security guards need to learn how to speak to mothers looking to purchase Milk for their babies. Terrible behavior. I spend thousands of dollars at Target to be treated so horribly by a child and not even the manager.
Each and every time I make a phone call or try tor try to get in touch with someone no one is willing to pick up and they do the phone keeps on ringing in the department that I am sent to. When I walk in this store and I ask for a specific item in that set department everyone has an attitude and its unlikable and seems like they dont even want to be there I would highly strongly recommend this target location work on their employees and focus on hiring people that actually want to work for the company. Highly disappointed with the employees, other locations in are pleasant.
It looks like that I am going to have to do a list of the stores that I am not going to buy from from now on. And it looks like that all are located at the Bergen Town Center! My daughter got a gift card and we went to buy her something. She picked all the things she wanted and we proceeded to pay. But the system was down, which I understood. What I did not understood was the attitude of the person attending the self pay section. Pay with a credit card she said, but I dont buy regularly at Target. So I have to expend $50 now and then again have to come back to waste $50 again with the gift caed? The worst part was to see the disappointment in my daughters face.
If you really need to buy something, do not buy it online at Target, its happened more than 3 times that I buy something online, I get charged in my CC and they send me the email that my order is ready for pickup and when I get there they say the order has been canceled because they do not have the product. That is a scam because once I take the time to go to the store, park and get there, I have to buy something that is not what I want just because they sold a product that is not in stock. I will not buy online at Target again.
They are always ready when I arrive so my wait time is minimal and they are great at selecting the products I ordered.
The cashier Aaliyah was very kind and helpful. She was effective and was able to answer any questions I had about the store and items I was buying.

PROS: Ive come into this location numerous times and its not bad at all. Theres tons of parking cause its linked to a mall and the size of this location is good. The service is always great at the mall and the lines move quickly. Everything is well organized and the place is cleanCONS: This may be attached to an outlet mall but it does not have outlet prices. This Targets prices are the same as any other targetOVERALL: Come to this Target if you want to shop at a normal one but turn away if you think youre getting a discount
Tell your customers to take their pets outside. Their dogs breathe on and are near the produce. One employee looked like he was about to tell two of the customers about the dogs and then he chickened out. Enforce the non-service animals policy. These weirdos take their dogs everywhere, especially near the fresh food.
The app & drive up option is why target is now my go to store for almost everything. The app makes shopping super easy. If the item isn’t at your usual store it’ll tell you where it is in stock at and OH MY GOD their drive up service is EVERYTHING. I’ve used the drive up option SEVERAL time & LITERALLY EVERYTIME I go the sales associate is bringing out your item(s) super fast like there is little to no wait time. I highly recommend trying you won’t be disappointed.
I feel like the store could be better organized and cleaner. Everytime you walk in the store its like a disheveled mess almost like your walking into a marshalls. I understand that the store is attached to a mall but I dont think thats an excuse for the store to look the way it does. I walk in and most times forget why I came. The staff could stand to be a bit friendlier as well, its always a hit or miss on whether your going to get someone nice or a bit cranky.

One of the better Target stores.At the West end of Bergen Town Center mall. Had good service experience in the electronics department by Joy and Alex setting up a newly purchased phone. Has a Starbucks inside. Parking can be a problem outside, however, parking is generally very available in the parking garage.
I am talking about 2 pick up orders. First order had loads of technical issues. The order was partially cancelled because of incorrect inventory, but the amount refunded was incorrect. Then when the pick up order expired and was cancelled, the order was still popping up in the app and the money was still not refunded and so on.... In the end, I had to make a callt lasted more than 20 minutes just to get a refund. Second one was a order of two packages of cherries and both of them had very visible mold growing in the package. One had an entire cherry completely covered in mold. I have never had a good experience with Target pick up.They need to improve their pick up service significantly if they want people to actually use it. I, for one, will not use the service again if i can help it.

Just got verbally attacked by a target team member to the point where I was scared she was going to assault me. I proceeded to attempt to talk to the manager about the altercation that just happened, and she seemed like she could care less, as if it was almost funny to her. This target in specific really needs to reevaluate their staff. I spoke to some lady named Dawn who claimed to be the manager. Very unhelpful and also really aggressive towards customers. I’ll be calling corporate every single day till this problem is resolved. I feel threatened going into that target and I am a daily customer

Amazing! I walked into Target Paramus with 10 minutes left to their baby car seat exchange promotion going to get like a coupon or something. My scanner wasnt working so I asked a Target Paramus employee and, even though the scanner wasnt working, she said theyd honor it. I asked her to direct me to the strollers. She did and I thanked her. I had a question about one of the strollers and so I looked for a Target Paramus employee and found Bella, a really helpful employee, and asked her. Not only did she answer my question, she introduced me to another Target Paramus employee, Swan, whod help me carry the stroller box. Swan was awesome! He helped me with the box and when I asked him if the 10% off sticker was legit, he scanned it. He said hed double check with his managers and so he introduced me to Oday and Bianca who began helping immediately. Not only did they check on and apply the sale percentage (40%!) they also honored the baby seat exchange promotion. I got an incredible, top of the line double stroller, for 60% off the original price. Swan walked me out and put the box in the trunk of my car and gave me a Covid friendly elbow bump and thanked me. Cant say enough. They rick! Shop there!!

Store I visited, Bergen Outlets in Paramus NJ was very clean as usual. Items are clearly displayed AND NOT MOVED AROUND SO I KNOW EXACTLY WHERE TO HEAD EVERY TIME. That is most important for a quick in and out to pick up daily essentials. The holiday set up was also very tempting and I am sure to go back.

Brought online- store pickup. never received email about pick up- received email about needing to extend pickup time. extended time, went to pick up- no longer available. issued gift card instead of refund- said it was because I used PayPal. Brought again online for pick up, got confirmation for 4 instead of order 10. cancelled 6 because no longer available. I will NEVER order from Target again. stuck with a $100 gift card I dont need and need to come up with more $ to buy from different retailor.
Clean friendly store
I wont be using this Target location again. The curbside pickup process is disorganized and unnecessarily slow. All other Targets Ive been too have got it down. This location only has 4 spots for what seems to be 5x the number of pickups, and they do not bring an order out until they take your name even though youve checked in through the app. I had to get out of my car to get their attention. I wanted 45 minutes here to get my order. I do not recommend this location.

This is the absolute WORST customer service out any target I have ever been to. So we started at the hakensack location location who said they have 72 Disney cars on hand. So we come here and get told that they are on the shipment truck so they need a person with a key. So the next person who comes says that nobody has the key (which seems impossible) and that they won’t unload it until the store closes at 11pm. Since we live an hour away we can’t come in the morning. This would be a problem if they could put them on hold like all target stores normally do. They say that they cannot because it is the “holiday season”. Isn’t the holiday season about joy and happiness. According to this place the “holiday season” means they can’t be helpful to anyone. They she gets a manager who says the same. I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN!
Easy in and out. Only criticism is the condition of the Mens room. Looked like it had not been checked in a bit - dirty, a broken toilet, etc.

Went here today to get Consumer Cellular service. Waited 30 min for the tech guy to arrive. Told him I wanted to change over from my current carrier Straight Talk, he said no problem 45 minutes and $30.00 dollars later didnt work now he tries to sell me a new phone, now I have no phone service and he told me to call my bank for a refund and Straight Talk back to reactivate my phone which they cant do. Spent another hour on the phone and more money to buy another phone which will arrive in 2 days, May not get back my same #. DO NOT GET CONSUMER CELLULAR, another woman waited the entire time I was there for cell phone service, wonder how she made out? Very poor advice !!!
Ive been coming here for several years. I can always find what Im looking for even if its something I just really want. Liked this manager here named Oday. I believe he really knows how to keep this store running. Ive only have had a few bad instances where some new employees were not doing well and some supervisors but I guess as easy as they came, they also left.I dont know if this girl works here anymore but I remember this one guest service girl with an interesting name named Jiania. She really knew how to do a job and a half. I was treated really great with extremely speedy service.But anyways times are tough but I hope people keep shopping here this place is great god bless the workers and this location.
Richard is an excellent customer service representative who helped me navigate through the target app. Cindy also was instrumental in helping me test and try out my purchases with the target app. Cindys knowledge was so extensive that you taught me about online price match through Amazon. Cindy and Richard are excellent customer service representatives and because of them I shall continue to be a loyal customer.
I shopped at this target all the time, but the staff seem to be noticeably unfriendlier and had a few occasions of rudeness that seemed out of the blue (perhaps they were having a bad day) but it has lately deterred me from asking for any sort of help... Other than that, the selection and stock is wide and great. Also very neat and organized.

I needed to get a replacement for a table lamp that I accidentally broke (not the lamps fault - it was glass and I dropped it multiple times...). I checked online that it was in stock right before going in and there supposed to be two of them. When we get there, we only fine one - fine, maybe someone bought the other right before we got there after I checked the website. The reason for the low review is that the remaining lamp was broken and missing parts. It was very hard to find an employee to help us resolve this issue.
I was there the other day for last minute holiday shopping. I was having trouble locating items when I approached one of the associates. Her name was Tiarra, and she was more then helpful in assisting me in locating all the items I needed!!! It was a great experience and if I lived in the state I would come back!
Only writing to report that a woman in customer service refused my return. I had many items but she stated that the store had a policy of reporting a scheduled time on Tuesdays for big returns. No other store I have ever been to had this policy, regardless we took everything back to the car with the exception of 4 items online purchases. Target has a return policy that only 5 online purchases at a time may be returned, I had 4 pieces but the woman still refused to take my return until I threatened to call corporate. The manager at the time was no help either. We took everything to the Hackensack location and I was able to return everything no problem, no schedule policy, and the employees there were incredibly kind.

Went there today to get cookies to bake with my boyfriend and all the associates I spoke to were very nice. Freddie was restocking the baking aisle and he was the most pleasant happy person Ive talked to at a target in a while. Also the cashier Daryel was so sweet please keep him up there he made my day 100000x brighter!
Ill start by saying Im a member of this store and a subscription purchased. But today I felt obliged to cancel them. I visited the store located at 900 paramun NJ. and I was buying some of my items when Im ready to pay. Another client approaches me with claims for having taken an item that she wanted and that the store had no more. How if that was my fault to choose something that is nobodys and that does not take from her but from the store itself. My frustration was greater when we tried to explain that we took that article from where there were other similar ones. We asked for cameras to be checked and we were denied the right. I asked for the shift boss or supervisor to solve the problem with the other client who apart from insulting and verbally assaulting us was very rude in her vocabulary. there was no supervisor and the employee who claimed instead of helping what she did was discriminate and have an attitude in favor of the wrong situation of the other woman. My frustrated experience in Target is so great that I hesitate to recommend it and buy back in that chain. Luckily for us I found the same item that was a car seat in Walmart of the other color same brand and at a better price. Thank you Target for frustrating my mind with such unpleasant service. Youre the most horrible thing that ever happened to me today July 10 2020. The most embarrassing thing Ive ever lived. And the most critical thing was the bad thing about customer service.

Today comic con release was a joke you had ppl lining up waiting for these since 5am FUNKO pops the employ of the store put them on a shelf people run and grab them and it is one per person and it got out of control target on route 4 never did this before they need to do something about this either fire the employee or vet someone that this doesn’t happen again Because this target sucks and I am telling people not to go here now because of stuff like this happening
Daryl let me know about the red card and the cartwheel app which I did not know about so he went out of his way to make sure I received coupons and got the best deals available. He handled my items as I requested, asked questions and just really seemed to actually care that I was spending money at Target! I really appreciated him and his efforts.
We were shopping for toys. There were many Target Helpers as you can easily see them in their red uniforms everywhere. We have asked a number of them for help and the answers we got I dont know or check over there. I wonder if these workers are not to be expected for help at all. We stopped getting excited when we see someone in red uniform and stopped asking for help. Got so happy when we finally found Junior who went all the way out to look for the toy we were looking for Code Programming Game Series. He told us there are 3 stocks left and he will check the stockroom. We waited, waited and saw him with another customer. Ok we thought maybe he completely forgot us or no more stocks. We started walking a few aisles more. We were so surprised and happy to see him locate us and with the toy. Junior further offered to scan some of our toys for prices. He is indeed very helpful, polite, courteous and kind. Target, this is the kind of worker you need to sell more especially at this competitive times. I am giving 5 stars only because of Junior at the toy section, without him 3 stars.
I was able to find most of the birthday stuff I was looking for, so thats a good thing...But at the same time, I was horrified to see a package of mandarin orange fruit cups on a shelf that was busted and molded. It was to the point where it was stuck and solidified by the juice that was in it. I just dont understand why no one bothered to clean it up? It must have been there for at least a month to be in that kind of state.I think it is either lazy or terrible management to blame for this. Either way, it kind of left me with a mixed feeling for a one-time-visit as a tourist. I do hope they clean it up...
