Currently I am working on renovating and redecorating our front porch into a garden bistro-style area and I wanted a carpet that would be soft, lay flat, but also be durable under outdoor weather conditions and Safavieh had a variety of options, patterns, and most importantly sizes to suit our needs. It’s not a large area and the prices were beyond reasonable. For the quality of product you’re going to get I don’t think I was able to find a better price. There are less expensive options out there but I’ve tried them and they all fall apart or are made with subpar materials so for just a tiny bit more you can get a great quality product and if you look at the subsequent photos 2 & 3 you’ll see it ties together with the table and chair set nicely, even for such a small area.

About 3 years ago we purchase a Persian large rug from the Paramus location for over $3K. Few months into the rug, we started noticing it was peeling/shedding more than a typical rug. We calledthe Paramus location store and spoke to the Manager several times for over a year. Finally, two years thereafter, continuing to call and beg, the associate said (Amir) I will speak to my boss and get back. Chased him or another few weeks, ignoring of our phone calls, emails, he finally agreed to replaceOur rug! New rug comes - the same non sense! The yarn is being pulled across majority of the rug, continually shedding, and already worn out on 7-8months. I would never recommend this location and/or the store. It is quite unfortunate because the all the pieces look amazing but the quality is horrible and the lack of care and customer service makes the experience and dollar not worth it! I would never encourage anyone to shop here - You are honestly better off supporting retailers that authentically care the quality of products they care and create a memory that makes you want to purchase again. Save your time and money!

From the moment I went to the show room to make the purchase to the delivery today, I have been very happy with the quality of my furniture and the professionalism of the individuals who assisted me during the sale and installation process. Beautiful Furniture - Beautiful experience! Safavieh has beautiful, elegant and unique pieces.

Very high end. Evaluator at the door wasnt quick to get us someone. He had the fall in love first game plan. Ridiculous lead times on build, almost as long as Stickley.

The people at the store and the delivery people were friendly and helpful. We ordered a table that was not in stock and it took a very long time for it to arrive ( 3-4 weeks longer than expected). I dont think it was under the stores control. The furniture is very nice and seems well made except that the bottom of the chair legs is rough wood. Without adding gliders they would have ruined our floors on the first use. This is something that either the manufacturer or the store could easily have addressed.

I went there last Aug to buy sofa and tables. Theyre beautiful and I was very excited to have them in my living room. But I had to wait till October 3rd. Almost 2 months to wait but still happy with that. But its mid of Dec, nothing has arrived and no calls nothing. They say every things has shipped already, 2 weeks ago. Kept lying and never calls back. My living room is turning as a storage. I am so fed up.

This store was asked to hold stock of a non-custom item and refused to refund my card. The sales rep was still clarifying terms with me and charged my card without signed consent. No agreement was signed and they would not cancel the charge. Thats just stealing. Store Manager got on the phone to protect the sale and fight me on the money they took! Unbelievable!Business practices include deceit; HUGE mark-ups to pay sleazy sales reps (Andrea); leveraging unsigned documents to hold customer funds; actions in violation of PCI compliance [for card processing]; verbal abuse; and hostile work environment (former employee informed the manager abused them, which I believe based on my experience speaking with them). Just ruthless (EVEN WHEN WRONG).I advise using this store as a showroom and then let them get sucked slowly for a slow death (declining revenue!!!!!!!). Look and then RUN to another store for a better price.

My wife was looking for a specific rug without success until we contacted Jeff Ashraf at Safavieh Home Furnishings in Manhattan, Chelsea Showroom.He not only spent a considerable amount of time on the phone and followed up through emails he found this one very difficult rug for my very appreciative wife.What a wonderful experience working with him and Safavieh!

Nothing but a great experience! I just bought some of my furnitures through Mr. Amir who was great with answering all my questions and really took the time to go over all the details. He is so professional and he explained everything in the best way. Everything was so simple and easy! I would definitely recommend not only this store, but this brand which is unbelievable high level of class. Yesterday, my friend and I visited The Paramus Showroom/Rt 4, New Jersey.As a designer, I was shopping with my friend and when we entered the store our presence was not acknowledged - as if we did not exist. No assistance was offered at any time during our visit. We felt as if we were being PROFILED.

Ashkan, the store mgr. should realize that customers, expect customer service. Not going into all details, but I had a problem with 6 dining room chairs and staining after one usage. I have done everything right, and he never even had the decency to phone me back with an answer. Even if the response is unfavorable towards the customer (meaning they have chosen to do nothing), a mgr should contact a customer back and explain!

Returning customer however decided to go to this particular store instead of my usual one. Every was great up to the point of purchase. Once the transaction was completed getting answers from the sales rep was impossible. I inquired on the status of my order was advised that he would contact the manufacturer and get back to me. Two weeks later once again I inquire about the status and am given the same response. I tried asking for a manager on why am I not able to get an answer he personally assured me he would look into it and get back to me. After a while I get a call back from the manager who tells me some of my order is in and he will have it delivered on Saturday by 12. Two PM rolls around no delivery. I call and inquire about my delivery I am told they don’t have an order for us, according to regional manager. At this point I had enough with the lack of communication and commitment from the sales person to the manager or the regional manager who can only tell me its up to the owner. This is a classic case of buyer beware of this particular store.

We had been shopping for furniture for quite some time and we found wonderful and unique pieces at Safavieh. The salesperson Diana Hall, was extremely helpful. She provided us with plenty of information, options, design advice and layouts without applying pressure to make a quick purchase. We went back to the store several times with questions and she was always patient and encouraging. Even after the sale she continuously updates us with delivery information, etc. I highly recommend Safavieh and Diana Hall!

Safavieh in Paramus is an excellent store for one stop shopping to create a magnificent room. The showroom has an excellent selection of furniture for every shopper with formal, casual, traditional, transitional and modern pieces. The staff is friendly and courteous and the designers actually listen to your needs and ideas rather than going off on their own tangent tastes. I am pleasantly surprised that the furniture was affordable and the quality is top notch. I have finally been able to finish my rooms! They made the task easy! I bought a carpet coffee tables, end tables and wall art. I will start my dining room soon and I will definitely go back to this store for it!

THEY SUCKKK! The Sales person Michelle and front desk Taylor Lie after lie and lie and lie.... We ordered our furniture November 2018 and today is April 16, 2019. 10 weeks later I get SOME of my order. They have been guaranteeing delivery on exact days and it never happened. There is not one person I spoke with that didnt lie to me about when to expect my delivery including the Manager himself giving me an exact date for delivery and nothing happened. Terrible service, missing half my order, and getting the run around. They take your money very quickly but take forever to deliver what you paid for. Horrible! You are better off buying from IKEA! I am still waiting for the rest of my order.

Taylor the receptionist doesn’t know how to talk to a customer. She is very rude. Talks over you. Wouldn’t recommend this location. Never calls back. What are you doing behind the desk? I am not the only one keep reading.

First review I have ever written. Bought a table and took it off the floor. I did not notice that the marble top did not fit into the frame correctly. I was told that due to the fact I took it with me it was considered as is. I was discounted as a floor sample and I was not looking to return it, just simply have them either repair it or swap our the top. I think they knew that it was defective. That is ok though, it was a good lesson to learn...I will not be making any future purchases there.

You have beautiful furniture and decor but The way you treat your customers will define your success in today’s retail world.I called your store today and spoke to a male designer who was very abrupt and rude. I asked a simple question and he came back with such attitude.I was planning to come tomorrow to buy new furniture but believe me my mind is now changed. Will not buy from that jerk!Unfortunate because you have beautiful items and I wonder how many lost sales you get due to rude service.

I ordered a chaise chair through my designer in December 2015. It was supposed to arrive in early February 2016. After many calls, my designer was able to speak to someone who said there was a problem with the fabric. This would cause me to not receive the chaise until March. Well I just received the chaise in May 2016!!!! It is lovely, however the service was HORRIBLE! My designer was offered only $300 refund because the designers discount applied. If the customer service was more responsive it may have been better, but receiving a way overdue purchase and dealing with rude and unapologetic sales representatives is unacceptable. I will NEVER again purchase anything else from this store.

I think Safavieh has beautiful things. And I think our salesperson, Esther was pretty amazing. However I had a horrible customer service experience that I need to share. We purchased two custom high end Henredon sofas. The little casters on the English legs broke and I have spent nearly 8 months trying to have them replace them. The store, their corporate customer service rep have done nothing. They claim to have returned our calls NEVER EVER EVER and each time I talked to someone there, was assured there would be immediate attention paid to it. Really, I just need these two replacement casters. Originally I lived near the store and was going to have them replace them for me. Now I live far away and Im stuck. So the only thing I can do really is post this review and say that I had a very bad experience. I reached out to Henredon and they told me to call the location I purchased them from. Hence I will NEVER buy anything Henredon or Safavieh again.
