If i could to mark below 0 star i would. Be aware of this company. First of all they change their policy for return and other without notifying it to the customers who even keep loyalty to this business for many years . Second of all products quality they sell lately far from good standard and satisfaction. Third of all product description doesnt match the reality. of the goods. I purchased winter down Jacket for my husband right before COVID cost around $ 300. With all the mass due to COVID he did not have a chance to try this jacket on for regular wear. Last winter he finally start to wear it and noticed that all feather is coming out to inside lining. After spiking with the customer service rep we sent the jacket back with proof of purchase for refund, but week later received phone call from return department that refund has been rejected because coming out feather is normal situation and they dont care about our satisfaction . This shows how much they care about customers. Hope my review will be helpful for others to save money and nerves.This is reply to the owners response: Yes, you did have lifetime replacement policy up to 2018 according to your statement which we were not been informed and you know that you had 4 lawsuits for non complying with your policy, but its not a point. Point is that our case is not an instances where you cannot accept a return and from our side is not an abuse of your policy. This is simply all your fault for the unclear description of your product which is pretty expensive. You did not place on the item description that could be this or that while regular wear and when i pointed to poor quality of your product, i got the answer that is normal if feather coming out a lot to inner lining It means you do not stand behind customers satisfaction and your product Otherwise you would make an exception even your policy has been changed to satisfy your customer and keep you reputation . PROS: This place is the only LL Bean store in the entire area. This store has very friendly staff where Ive never had a problem with. All their stuff is beautifully displayed and they are clean.CONS: This business is known for selling the bulk of their inventory online because most of their stores dont carry a lot. This branch is the smallest one of its type and because of that it does not carry a lot of merchandiseOVERALL: This store is nice to pick up something basic from LL bean but doesnt have the variety. Order online if theres something specific you want, but if its any boot, any jacket, or any pants youre looking for then see what this place has first

The staff here are very friendly. The products Ive purchased from here are good quality. Ive been here a couple of times to get items that were out of stock. The staff offered to ship those items to me from other locations that had stock.

I was able to locate a jacket in a size that wasn’t available anywhere else. They held it for me. I went into the store. And everyone was helpful Vivian was very nice and on top of the products in her section and directed me to Collin. Collin took the time to go over measurements with me. He went out of his way, even had his tape measure ready. Customer service in this store is the best I ever had. Even the cashier, shorter guy with a pony tail was very friendly. And they disinfect after every customer even if they touched a surface or not. Big selection very clean. Couldn’t be happier!

Vivian is an amazing woman. Extremely helpful and patient. The workers at the counter are very helpful as well especially Dawn. A great place. And now Eric is being extremely helpful in the shoe department and all of these experiences in chain stores is unexpected. It’s my first time at L.L. Bean but it won’t be my last.

The store isnt super big (mostly clothing), but they are very friendly and helpful. They will order anything from their catalog and have it shipped to your home if they do not have it in stock. Additionally, they do really nice events in the store and on the outdoor adventures.

Helpful staff

The products in stock at this store are more limited than other LL Bean stores that I have seen. The benefit to visiting is to test fit or quality before you buy, since you can order a lot more online. I suggest you call to ask for what youre looking for before you visit.

Love LL Bean...Joni was a huge help, styles, colors, whats been selling well...15 minutes, jeans, shorts, nice shirt... Done... This was after about five minutes of walking around to conclude that Banana Republic in Tices Corner just felt weird to me. Though clearly they have their own loyal following.

Great customer service. Very friendly staff. I went shopping for hiking shoes on Saturday afternoon, they didnt have my size in the shoe I liked best so they ordered it for me and said it would arrive on Wednesday, and it came Tuesday! A whole day early! David from the shoe department was very helpful and nice, as well as Beth the cashier. So far the shoes are a perfect fit.

Their customer service is the best nationwide. The people go out of their way to assist you. Store is neat all items are either stacked or hangingup.

L.L. Bean is a store, mainly selling clothing, for camping and the outdoors. I have bought from here many times. Some thing i bought were a leatherman pocket knife (my favorite knife that i currently own) and a comfortable fleece jacket. The store also sells backpacks that will last for a long time without being damaged and are under a warranty that will give you a replacement if the bag is damaged and needs a replacement.

Love this store. Especially if you can catch a sale... its good quality for great prices. Staff is very helpful.

Good customer service

Staff are always proactively service oriented. Really helpful. LLB offers several levels if quality, so, if you just want the look, its less expensive. If you need the performance, they have that version also. Always a good experience at this store. Never a hard sell, always focused on what you want.

Classic LLBean. Kids basics that last forever

Their once generous return policy is gone and is now very restrictive. Cant return items after one year from purchase. Wont accept returns if their is a slight defect on item. They are going to lose customers with this new return policy.

With the new return policy, receipt is require for all returns. For me it seems that not all my purchases receipts show on my online account. Therefore I must keep all paper receipts for a few months.

LL Bean has a good supply, and an even better return policy (5 stars for this, alone). The customer service is great, and the staff has always tried hard to help me find what Im looking for. If you have one of their cards, the rewards coupons are also helpful.

I like LL Bean and have always had great experiences with them in Freeport or online, but I will not shop in the Paramus store again. I had a bathrobe that did not hold up well. I called customer service and they said to go ahead and buy a new one (slightly different) and then to return the old one. I was to receive the value of the new one back. I went to Paramus to complete the return and the store manager (Sam I think) refused to complete the return. He insisted that the bathrobes were different and was rude. I asked him about their lifetime warranty and he smugly replied that it was a satisfaction guarantee. I do not know what the difference is but I guess he thinks that it means that he can be rude and demeaning to customers. I explained that I already spoke to customer service and was simply following what they told me. I ended up having to hold up the line and call customer service and they made the store manager refund my money. There were dozens of ways he could have handled this better. If he was not sure he should have called them himself instead of treating me as he did.

This is a small LL Bean store. They do have kayaking and standup paddle boarding on the Monksville reservoir. Their sizes on the clothes (jackets and such) are way high up on the collar. Sometimes I cant reach to find my size. I wish they were on the sleeves. That would be much more convenient.

Great quality stuff but way overpriced

Growing up in Maine and spending most of my life there I have come to love LL Bean. The location in Paramus does not hold up to the flag ship store in Freeport Maine. The customer service just wasnt there, and they pride themselves on that. So disappointed as a life long customer.

Sales associates are in their own little World was there for 45 minutes waiting to see if anyone will ask to help me zero stars would had worked Better since its the same amount they ask me for help
