Love shopping at this store. Top quality products and the manager Lynn has always been great to work with. She gives great advice pulling pieces together and goes above and beyond to get answers to technical questions she may not know off the top of her head. I live a distance form the store so I sometimes e-mail questions and shes always been very responsive and helpful. If youre looking for quality furnishings that are unique and beautiful, this is a great place to check out.
I am absolutely sure that any potential buyer will be wowed by the collections available at Timothy Oulton. The furniture is fantastic !!!I believe placing an outlet in Bergen county (the NYC metro area) was brilliant. But, Halo the parent company of TO needs to give serious thought to who they place within their stores to represent this fantastic brand Lynn Bergin is not the proper fit to represent this brand or any other high end brand that prides itself on craftsmanship and service. I wont rant about her behavior on a public forum. But, I feel good that My experience with other members of the Timothy Oulton family globally such as Xavier the regional Manager was 100% excellent, so I won’t allow the brand to wear a black eye due to one bad apple. Again, it’s my hope that the company review their relationship with Lynn. This store could do so much better with the right leadership.
We worked with Vincenza, a very pleasant and helpful salesperson. After we left the store, we took some time to decide on the sofa. Once we decided on our purchase, I contacted Vincenza over the phone with payment info and delivery address and our availability for delivery times. The delivery company called us a day before and confirmed the time of arrival. Next day they delivered the (giant!) sofa, got it in the apartment without a hitch. Courteous and efficient crew. We had a good experience, probably the smoothest large purchase weve ever made. I was a bit nervous after reading the one-star revew below, but everything worked out well in our case. So theres at least a 50/50 youll be very happy 🤣. Highly recommend based on our experience.
Lynne was amazing! She was super helpful and I shopped with her over the phone as I am 9 months pregnant. She sent photos and was always very responsive. Thankful for stores having such great employees like her.
Manager Lynn Bergen is Very rude, which I didn’t appreciate after I spent almost $6,000 in the store. Not helpful at all. Did not call back with information until I had to tell her how frustrating this was becoming for me, and has been giving me the run around since December. Not happy with the customer service in this store. They told me to go to restoration hardware to get pieces that were missing from my chandeliers and after wasting my time driving to RH and calling numerous times to their customer service they finally tell me they cannot sell parts to customers for another brands chandeliers because it is a liability. They should not be using RH as a sales tactic and a fix to sell items with missing pieces. I would not have bought a chandelier if I could not hang them from my ceiling.. it only makes sense. I finally asked Lynn to give me the Timothy Oulton customer service phone number so I could find the pieces myself after she had failed to help me do so numerous times, but she refused to give me the phone number. The restoration hardware team and customer service were very pleasant to work with and extremely helpful. I wish I spent my money with them instead of timothy Olton. Horrible experience which is a shame because the store is so nice. Definitely cheapens the brand and not worth the headache. Do yourself a favor a shop elseware.
