PGA Store Instructors are phenomenal. YouTube tips can only do so much and PGA Instructor Tom Mcguinness taught me how to consistently strike my clubs pure and straight. Tom was very patient with me, help me feel the correct hand and arm positions in my swings. I am a visual learner and keeping recordings of my swing with his voice over helped me during my practice time at the range to lock in my technique. I love leaving after a lesson with specific drills to conquer my issues. I went from hitting my driver inconsistently 80-100 yards to a solid strike well over 160 yards (F, 2 years playing) after 3 lessons.
Excellent experience! Highly recommend the fitting. Excellent guidance, assessment... Robbie was awesome! My son and i were able to focus and get 2 sets we feel are very good and appropriate for us. Thank you!
I came in to get my clubs re-gripped where I was greeted by Adam who was excellent in his customer service skills. Griffin who was doing the gripping behind the counter managed to get all of my clubs done same day which was great! Thanks guys!
Wanted to share a few words about my club fitting experience with Robbie Gomez a couple of weeks back. Honestly, was the best thing Ive done for my game. I have only played with used clubs and was ready to take the plunge and get better irons, woods, driver, etc. Robbie was so good in helping to analyze my swing, and getting me the right clubs to help make the game easier for me. He explained the differences in my distance, club speed, etc. with each set of irons I tried out. And we had some laughs too as we figured out what was best for me going forward. Great experience! And the best part, is I have knocked off 5 or strokes off my score...Thanks Robbie and everyone at the PGA Superstore!
This was my first fitting for a driver ever. I didn’t know what to expect and had no clue how it would go. Would there be high pressure to buy a particular club? Do I have to buy? Etc… All I can say is WOW. I could not have had a better time and EVERYONE I dealt with was fantastic! My fitter, Pat Reilly, walked me through the entire fitting process. Talk about professional and courteous! He let me be me. No judgement. No pressure. Just kindness and honesty. I came in thinking I hit the ball about 220-230. I have never been fitted. I found the perfect driver, perfect shaft, and fit “like a glove”! Let’s just say I found more distance than I could have wished for and if I told you how much, well, you wouldn’t believe me. Got my driver 2 days later and went to play with the new club! Yup, the distance was spot on. The yardage showcased was there. Pat Reilly, thank you, and I will be back to get my irons fitted, and then wedges. I won’t go anywhere else! Found my fitter and golf store! Thank you!
I have purchased clubs from here since last several years. The quality of staff’s support is getting worse. Was good place but not any more.
Pat Riley did an amazing job in fitting me for clubs and finding the best ones for me and the right height., He went the extra mile. I would never have bought Wilson clubs before because I was a Taylor Made Guy. But the new clubs increased my distance and cut down on error shots. Thank you so much Pat Riley for bringing life back to my golf game.
First time being fitted for clubs and the experience couldnt have been any better.Pat was attentive, knowledgeable and patient. We learned a great deal about our new found sport. So glad we came here!Highly recommend a visit to this fabulous store.
We came in for a set of used Irons today and we met Patrick, the Assistant Manager. He stayed with us for an hour and helped us choose the right set while giving me pointers and playing games with us on the simulator until we finally decided on the right clubs! Thanks pat, you were great!
My friends and I were trying out drivers at the store when Pat walked over and went out of his way to help fix our swing and gave us loads of advice. Absolute goat. 5 stars isn’t enough to describe Pat… so inspirational.
Robbie Gomez and Zach are 2 true professionals who will go the extra mile for the customer. Robbie was instrumental in having my fitted clubs delivered within a week after the manufacturer gave an expected delivery date of 4 months due to grips. Once the clubs were shipped, Zach prioritized gripping the set within a 1/2 hour. Great customer experience. Couldn’t be happier. I look forward to shopping here for clubs again in the future! Thank you Robbie and Zach!
My first time at the PGA Tour Superstore, and an overall great experience! With about an hour and a half drive to the store, it was completely worth every minute of it. Everything from the selection of product on the racks to the customer service was great! The Assistant Manager, Pat provided me with excellent customer service. As a newer golfer in search for a new set of game improvement clubs, he took the time to walk around the store with me, recommending a few different types of clubs he thought would be beneficial to improving my golf game. When it came time to demo these clubs, he took the time to let me hit each one while also giving me little tips and tricks to improve on my swing. At the end of the demo, he gave me his honest recommendation as to which clubs he thought would be the best fit for me and why. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions truthfully and thoroughly. I cant say enough about the quality of customer service Pat provided during my two visits to the store. I would highly recommend this store to anyone and will definitely continue to shop here!
Horrible return policy! The store will not take shoes back that had a plastic that was hurting, only a day after purchased “because they had been worn and thus could not sell to another client”. The young woman in charge was rude all along, and we we reminded her that we are long standing clients who regularly spend a considerable amount of money at the store she yelled “she didn’t care”. So there you have it, a store who doesn’t care to keep good clients.Do yourself a favor and go to a store with a decent return policy, and that cares to keep a client.
I am brand new to golf and had a couple lessons with Tom McGuinness. He was great- helped me get the basics down and start with good mechanics. The lessons were so helpful and Tom was fantastic at breaking it down for me, giving me feedback and making it fun. Highly recommend Tom!
I went to get my new Mizunos bent to be more upright. One of the managers, Patrick, did a great job. Took his time with every club, double checked the specs, and then he let me try them out in one of the bays. The store was busy, early Saturday morning, and Patrick was being pulled in every direction. If someone had a question, he would finish one of my clubs, answer the question, and then continue with me. Felt like I was given the most attention. I am so happy. Shout out to his crew in the Customer Service/Club Repair area. A young guy, with glasses was a big help as well. I will definitely go back to that location, and recommend it to all my golfing friends.
5+ stars, one of the best retail experiences you’ll find. Excellent customer service from the fitters (thank you Brian) to services (John, and club repair guys Adam) to the managers (Rudy and Pat). Considering how popular golf is lately and how busy this store gets, they care about getting things right, finding the best fit, and making the customer happy… without any sales pressure or biased feedback. PGATSS’s policies are some of the best in the retail industry with their playability guarantee and free fittings (if you can bear the wait times). When it comes to waiting on equipment, blame it on the manufacturers or all the newbies in the game. With a background and understanding of retail, I can say they handle the crush of demand with grace and do what they can to keep things friendly and running smooth. Also, everyone there seems to be genuinely passionate and knowledgeable about golf, which is NOT a given in other chains.
Store has everything and anything you could ever want. I never write reviews but have to give them all the praise for helping me and going out of the way to make sure I’m happy. Customers come first at this Paramus location and the management and the service dept workers are amazing! Don’t shop anywhere else!! At the Paramus location they stand behind their products and work and are the best in the business!
Went for a lesson, however my pro just talked for the whole duration on things unrelated to my golf swing. I hit at most 4 balls total, while he hit significantly more than me. It was a complete waste of time - when I asked how to fix my grip all he did was recommend a grip training aid rather than help me fundamentally fix it like other golf professional. Hoping other golfers who are trying to improve their game and have to wait weeks to schedule an appointment dont have such an awful experience. This was my second pro I went to and had a better experience with my first instructor so it can be hit or miss. The store itself is great with lot of variety and good pricing on used clubs.
Had a great experience in the pga store today. Had some issues with my driver and Pat took care of them immediately. He also took the time to give me a lesson on draws and fades. Great store great guy I recommend it.
Adam at customer service was a pleasure working with. If every store had a Adam, it would make every experience enjoyable. The dedication to making sure my club repair was completed in a timely fashion went above and beyond of what I expected
Service at the Paramus location was exceptional. Issue with a PING club that was handled terrifically with PING directly. Kudos to store management and Greg Rassar in customer service!! They have me as a loyal customer
Great experience. Pat was a huge help in the fitting room and got me the perfect club I need. He also was happy to help me with my swing. Pat is 5 star guy Much better than golf galaxy didnt have to pay 80 dollars and wait 2 weeks. Pga store is where it is at - Dave
Amazing customer service. I took in a wedge to get bent past what they were willing to do, and when I told them its fine, just try it, it snapped but out of the kindness of their hearts they replaced the wedge for me.The way I saw it, it was on me they snapped the wedge because I asked them to do that, yet they still replaced it.Amazing group or guys and gals there. Highly recommend them.Thank you so much for everything!!
Stopped in today to have some work done to a shaft. This is the closest store to me, but is still about 90 minutes away. Pat and Adam were amazing. They took care the of the work while I waited, so I didnt have to make a second 3 hour round trip. Couldnt have been more impressed by them. Would highly recommend this location to anyone.
I literally would never waste time writing a review had my experience been so poor. I would give 0 stars if possible but alas, I guess the 1 star counts because the fitting experience wasnt so bad.Past that, the get me ready for sale ($1500 fitted irons) and tell me due to a shaft backorder, my clubs will be shipped 5/31 and received by 6/7 (the date of purchase is 4/8).This isnt great but I understand its supply chain or whatever. So I make the purchase and give them my email for confirmation/updates. I have him read it back and he reads it correctly. Done.2 weeks go by and I dont get an email so I check the receipt and I find they put my email incorrectly. So then I email corporate support- no response. So I call the store 5 separate times. Only 2 calls are picked up and both they take my information down to call me back- but they never call back. Finally, two weeks later corporate support emails me back to update my order email and tells me my delivery date is now 7/22. ALMOST 4 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE and double the time originally quoted.Im not sure what kind of racket theyre running over there but it seems pretty clear they lied to get my money then purposefully avoided responding to my contact attempts to hide from accountability.I only assume the above because the alternative would require an unconscionable level of incompetence. As of this post no one involved in the actual sale has even attempted to reach out and resolve/rectify this matter. Dont shop here unless you are literally walking out of the building with the item you purchase.
Go here weekly to hit in their practice bays and putting greens. Take advantage of in store specials. Excellent facility, friendly staff.
Had a wonderful experience at this store over the past few weeks. Worked with Gregg, Nick, Adam and Mike over the course of two visits to pick out new drivers, putter and wedges. They were all super helpful and took time to ask me about my game, analyze my swing and answer all of my questions. Will be back.
Unbelievably bad experience. Brought my Raquet to be restrung. I give it to him after waiting almost twenty minutes. He tells me that it will take about three weeks. What??? At that point, I go ahead. I wait three weeks. Show up. Told to pick up at checkout area. It’s not there. Then, I am told to go to tennis area. I waited A d waited and no one can Helped me.I left, and came back a different time hoping that it would go better. Nope. Then, a third time with exact same experience. It got better. Two excellent employees stepped up and were able to get my Raquet, etc. Kudos to them for going above and beyond to help me.I now changed my review to three stars.
I purchased a set of Titleist T-300 irons. Sand wedge to 5. The order came in minus the sand wedge. Waiting on the MISSING CLUB. Frustrating, the store was doing all they can do but bottom line, still waiting. A real PIA, I live almost two hours away!
I just want to say how wonderful and helpful this staff is. Every question I had was answered to the best of their knowledge. I seriously cant thank their staff enough for everything theyve done for my Family and especially my golf game. Individually, I totally recommend Michael Carter in the fitting division. I really cant express the amount of gratitude I have for the entire Paramus team and especially Michael Cater. Thank you all so very much!!
Paramus PGA store. I have never bought a new putter before. With all the possibilities, I had no idea where to begin. Pat was incredibly patient, insightful and generous with his time - and he turned something complicated into somethong very simple. He helped me find the perfect club. Big store, yes. But with the care and attention you wouldnt find in your own clubs pro shop. Thanks!
Great selection. But check out process is consistently slow. Lines form and you are easily waiting 15 min
Upper management really needs to replace their people currently working there. I’m in HR and I would be appalled if I knew my employees were operating the way that they are. My husband told them he wanted to order clubs THREE times to 3 employees and no one decided to help. I’ve never seen customer service like this in my entire life. He planned on spending quite a bit but we will be giving our business elsewhere. NEVER again will go to this place
Went to the store today to pick up some hybrids and 60 wedge. Robbie helped me with the fitting, at first giving me the clubs I was looking at. He made a couple of suggestions and boom! I was making much better contact with his suggestions and much greater yardage. He was great and strongly suggest you look out for him. Thanks Robbie.
I was there for change club today.I need to help. They are so kind and helpful. It was great
DO NOT ORDER CLUBS FROM THIS STORE ANYTIME SOON... My previous review was beyond lengthy. I will keep it as short and Sweet as possible while still being Fair. While I completely understand supply chain issue being in the logistics business this is BEYOND unacceptable. My Fitting and Order of Ping 425s (4-PW) was placed on 3/27/2021.Was advised order would likely take 2 weeks or so.After 2 Weeks I was advised shipping Date was 5/7 i followed up regularly and was advised 5/7 was a good ship date. Well 5/7 came and went with little to NO updates at all regarding my order.5/10 i call the customer care number. Cedric advises my order is being held up due to 4 iron shaft not being in stock and that they can proceed with 5-PW to get me what they can. Awesome how long should that take?.......... 3 days later no answer. I call to find out and speak with Courtney this time only to find out my order is not going to be started because now they are missing grips and Shafts for my order. fairly regular shafts and standard non upgraded grips. New Estimated shipping dates 6/15 but no assurance this will be accurate. But thank god I was offered 2 $10 off coupons instead of making things right and getting my order out. no offer to upgrade the grips to something in stock for inconvenience. And dont even bother calling the store they dont know whats going on with their own orders and will need to call the manufacturer instead of being proactive and knowing whats going on with their orders to advise their customers paying hundred or thousands of dollars.WORST EXPERIENCE EVER BUYING SOMETHING SO CUSTOM AND EXPENSIVE. WISH I COULD GIVE 0 Stars. Do yourself a favor and avoid the pain and stress. Either Wait or find a more reliable vendor to purchase from. No one seems to care because the next dollar sign is walking through the door.
The concept of the store is great, but they don’t staff properly and they don’t know how to sell. I’ve gone in 4 times in 3 weeks to buy a $1200 set of irons and $500 driver and not only will nobody every approach you to ask if you need help, but when you ask for help it’s like your inconveniencing them. I’ve shopped here a long time never get help. If they staffed their store and actually tried to sell, they’d easily triple their business. It’s a shame.
Golfers paradise, everything and anything that youre looking for is here! Prices are decent on most items.
Adam in customer service did an excellent job accommodating me and directing me to the proper store employees for my fittings. He was professional and knowledgeable. John spent 90 minutes with me in the hitting bay providing feed back and a level of patience which was commendable. Nick added experiential input regarding grips and was professional and cordial. Pat the store manager assured me that the 90 minute trip from my house would be well worth it. He was not wrong. I have been in fitting sessions for at both club champion and golf tec, and both establishments promise unparalleled knowledge and customer service however they are wrong. They do deliver unnecessary up charges. The experience at The PGA superstore in Paramus is unparalleled . I will always return for all of my golfing needs!! My highest recommendation.
I visited this store for the iron fitting .After put my name on the list and waited more than one hour. But no call from the desk. Then I asked to the customer desk how long I need to wait but the man told me that he did not know.So I just left the store. I spent my time at the store but it is useless. After come back, I tried to find the way to reserve the fitting schedule online but there is no way to make an appointment for free club fitting. :(
Terrible customer service, no one answers the phone, I was running late, made it to the fitting, then waited another 5 minutes while the guy was on the phone and he rushed me through the process, just to find out a week later that 2 clubs will take 8 weeks to be SHIPPED!! Spent alot of money, and received a few store points, how nice of them!!!! To think the PGA store would be run well like the PGA tour was wishful thinking. Definitely not going back.
I used to love this place for all my tennis needs. Used to have couple of friendly tennis savvy associates at tennis desk and helped pick some strings etc. my last few visits have been horrendous. No one near tennis desk for stringing jobs and the front desk team has no clue what to do with stringing tag. They turn to the manager and she seems to have no interest working there. I have the paid membership which allows me to take advantage of 50% on the stringing labor but now a days, single racquet stringing takes 15 days. What the hell.. most likely made my last visit to the (once used to be my tennis go to) place.
Rarely does one get satisfied from Customer Service these days but fortunately, the PGA store values its customers. Today, Angela & Pat went way beyond the call to duty and surprised me with a swift and very fair resolution to my minor complaint. I left the store thinking about how much I’ll be buying at this Paramus location for this golf season and many more to follow. Of course my friends will all find out about this as they are frequent buyers too. Thank u guys again for making my day.
This place is easy to miss, as its located just before a busy entrance ramp to the Garden State Parkway. Once you find it though, its worth the trip . Great advice of the serious (and not-so-serious) golfer, great apparel selection
Had a great fitting experience with Pat. He took his time with me making sure I walked out with the best club for me.
Zach provided excellent customer service in the repair of my driver, speedy & efficient. Highly recommend!
Im continually impressed with the staff at the Paramus PGA store. I recently had an issue placing an on-line order and Zack the Asst Mgr went out of his way to take the time to assist me. Customer Service like this makes me keep coming back to this store.
Purchased custom iron set, crew in store was good, but trying to get ahold of customer service after purchase is impossible. It seems they offer more information with online purchases, you’re better off getting fitted there and then taking that information home and purchasing the product on the website. I have called the customer service number multiple times, it rings for 10 minutes until you get a voicemail message. Leave a message and no one returns your calls. There’s an email address you can inquire about your in store purchase, but that’s about as useful as leaving a voicemail. Frustrated with the whole process, lack of communication, misrepresentation of time frame for orders, and the lack of ability to even leave a customer review on their website. I’m assuming they don’t have a review section because of all the negative reviews they would potentially have. Ether way there are far more options out there for custom clubs with better customer service, I hope this helps anyone on fence about spending their hard earned money here.Update 5 wks out, still no email or updates, suppose I’ll have to look under the Christmas Tree this year at the rate this is going!
Just purchased my 3rd Iron set from PGA Superstore in Paramus. As usual they did not disappoint. This time I worked with Robbie G. He was very professional, friendly, and experienced. He took his time, showed me different brands to compare with my swing and most important, let me make the decisions. I felt that I was being helped by a friend not a sales person. Very simple. If you need a new set of irons or just want to try out whats out there check this place out and ask for Robbie G. You wont be disappointed.
Great experience. Will definitely be back.
Best of the best experience. Friendly and knowledgable Adam in the repair shop was fantastic with my re grip order and I appreciated his care and expertise. Robbie was a big help in finding a gem gently used Cobra SpeedZone driver, barely hit! 10/10 recommend. Great staff- amazing store. Clean and friendly!
Came in to buy a new driver and got set up with my dudes Robbie and John! They helped me get fitted for the perfect driver and tweaked my stance. Needless to say after the adjustments I started hitting bombs. Changed my game. Can’t wait to hit some eagles on those par 5s. Thanks fellas. Definitely will be coming back
Waited over twenty minutes for someone to help and no one came. It was midday and not a crowded store.....
My experience here was great. The employees are friendly and while it is a busy store, they do what they can to help. I did a tour van fitting with Nick to get a new set of irons here and not only was he excellent at dialing everything in, he also had me come back and get a better idea of all of my distances on the launch monitor at no additional cost. I would recommend the tour van fitting to anyone. Thanks Nick!
Very poor experience on 3 of my 4 visits within a week and half. For demoing clubs we need to approach customer service. Usually the wait is over 10 minutes just to speak with someone.Today I was waiting for 10 minutes, noone behind me, with six employees behind the counter, chatting, not one person acknowledges my presence or has the courtesy to say theyll be with me. Once the person completes his socializing tells me itll be an hour before I can demo a club. While there are over 4 to 5 open demo cages. No alternate options or even the slightest of interest in finding out what was suitable for me. I was told, were very busy on Saturdays and to visit on weekdays. Funny thing is I did visit on weekdays and same story. I had tried to book a demo session yesterday, Friday, however I was told they dont take advance booking. They just lost a customer who wouldve bought a new iron set. Absolutely less than satisfactory experience. In these times, it is quite surprising with such attitude in retail industry.
Great experience thanks to the manager, Pat! He was helpful and knowledgeable about the Taylormade putters that I was inquiring about. I will definitely be back in the future and would recommend this store to friends!10/10 customer service- thanks Pat!
When Im looking for golf equipment I always go to the PGA store the staff is knowledgeable and helpful and very courteous I had a great day today I bought a TaylorMade gap wedge and a TaylorMade lob wedge
Stopped in this store to pick up a new driver last week. Sales associate Pat was incredibly friendly and got me set up with one of their fitting professionals, Brian. Brain was equally as helpful and polite! He spent an hour with me swinging clubs and crunching numbers and found the perfect new driver for me. 10/10 would highly recommend looking for your next club or set from these friendlys folks here!
Robbie was phenomenal at the PGA Superstore in Paramus! I went in looking for an aftermarket driver shaft and Robbie was able to fit me to my specs. He took the time and let me try out multiple shafts and drivers and was extremely diligent. Couldn’t have asked for a better fitting session!
Came into the store as a beginner in search of a solid set of starter clubs, the whole 9. Patrick was extremely helpful in helping me achieve that. He showed me a range of different options both new and used. He was very knowledgeable about there brands and what worked best for beginners. Highly recommend seeing Patrick.
Over all the PGA store in PARAMUS is good, just dont ever book GOLF LESSON PACKAGE EVER!! I PURCHASED 6 LESSONS and trying to book a lesson after 6 pm during week or schedule a weekend is impossible......... most opening are from 12-4 sometimes i see 6 pm (HARDLY). What theye dont think we have full time jobs. i have 2lessons left since DEC,2020 AND CANT BOOK A LESSON. IT A JOKE
I went into the PGA store to get a new driver and our sales clerk Pat was really great, he helped me find the perfect driver and even gave me some tips when i was hitting. I would definetly recommend. I will definitely go back there again.
Bought a set of irons (custom fitted) a month a go and I am still waiting on the clubs to arrive. PGA sets up orders with PING, but PING has no idea how to track order information on their own product without a PGA rep doing it. So i pay PGA for PING equipment, but PING wont answer to me, only PGA? This relationship needs a lot of work. This was my first and last custom fitting/purchase I will ever do at PGA.
I have to edit my review. before I gave The PGA Store a 1/5 star. now it should be a 10/5. Pat and Angela are the definition oif great customer service. thank you for doing the right thing. if you need anything at the PGA store pat and angela are the people to go to. THANK YOU!!
I am currently taking lessons to improve my consistency, and they have been fantastic!! A definite must for those like me looking to tighten up their game.
This store is awesome for all sports players! Highly recommend this place!
Friendly, helpful staff. Quick and excellent service. I was able to come and get my racket grip re-wrapped on the spot!10/10 would recommend.
What a fantastic experienced i had, the store was fully equipped and everything I needed to play golf. Bought a putter, golf balls, 3 wood and driver. Even though store seemed crowded, the staff was very helpful and professional! I guess a lot of people aren’t working the store seems a little busier then usual., with the social distancing they had in place, you needed to be a little patient! They made me and my wife feel very safe! I even thank the manager on way out!
I recently went to the PGA store to exchange my old clubs which had some manufacturer issues for new ones. The manager Pat was very helpful and helped resolve the issues I was having with my old clubs and the manufacture.Later on I went back to the store to get fitted for the new clubs I decided on and everyone was busy except for one guy Robbie who was about to clock out. Robbie decided to stay on and help me get fitted for the clubs I wanted. He helped me choose the right shaft by explaining how the weight affected my swing, the benefits of tapered vs non tapered, and he also corrected my swing and helped me fix what I was doing wrong. Honestly everything I learned was extremely helpful and valuable to my game. I couldn’t be happier with the professionalism and service at this store. If you’re going to get fitted ask for Robbie I learned a lot from him and guarantee you will too.
Pat was fantastic, anytime you get the chance, choose to work with him. Pat brings A+ work and customer service.
Rose every nice helpful saleswomon
Place is just a joke. Golf Galaxy is right across the street and they know everything about the products they sell. Plus the fittings are next to nothing. You can have your entire iron set fit for 50 dollars. Plus they have one of the best fitters and club makers in the state with Tom. PGA is just a money grab, sorry.
WHAT A WASTE!!! And it’s a crying shame because they had everything I needed. THEY NEED TO TEACH MAJOR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS TO THESE EMPLOYEES. Came to buy new clubs and I walked around for about 30-40 minutes to check out which irons I liked. I was not even approached by 1 person. NOT 1!! I walked directly up to a man with a PGA STORE SHIRT ON and asked if anyone is around to help with selecting new irons. He said he will find someone..........15 min went by and he never came back. I would literally buy clubs anywhere else at this point. I walked out. NOT WORTH IT! Place needs some new management for sure!!
THE BEST GOLF STORE OUT THERE. THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND VERY HELPFUL. THE STORE MANAGER KEVIN CAVANAUGH HAS BEEN VERY HELPFUL, AND HIS STAFF HAS A LOT OF KNOWLEDGE OF ALL THE PRODUCTS IN THE STORE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THE STORE TO ANY OF MY FLOW GOLFS. LOVE THE STORE!!!!!!!!! AWESOME PLACE!!!!!
Brought irons from Club Champion, very unsatisfied, still having difficulty after 1 year of play. Gave up, went to PGA Superstore today and was refitted by Rob, found the irons that were right for me this time. Staff was genuinely concerned about my dilemma, and saw that my needs were met. In and out in an hour and they even installed my grips of choice at no additional charge. Go to them, they will fit you for free and their prices are 1/2 that of Club Champion. Also, Sean helped me find my Callaway Rogue a few years ago, after I purchased a Ping G400 and couldnt hit it at all!. Used the playability clause and Sean was patient with me until I found the Rogue. Still hit the thing today.
Excellent service !!
Had a awesome experience at the PGA Superstore in Paramus, NJ. Aidan C. was very attentive and helpful in testing and trying out the new Calloway Big Bertha/Maverick Clubs in the stores simulator and fitting station. Will definitely be back again soon!
Very good 👍
Went to the store the other day to get my dad a new set of clubs . I have not one clue of experience in golfing or golf clubs . Although with all the craziness and how busy it was Matt one of the store managers took his time to help me and was so helpful and patient and answered all my questions ! Even tried fitting me for my own pair ! My dad said the new clubs i got him were better than his clubs now ! Great service !! Friendly staff ! Def coming back next time to see Will in the tennis department too!
Great selection. Knowledgeable staff. Good prices. Enough said.
This place has everything. Is well merchandised. Tons of employees to help.
Went to the PGA Store & spoke to Kevin the manager. He immediately fitted me for my clubs. He was extremely professional and knowledgable. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone, at any level.- Mike Brown
Was in a bind and needed to purchase an entire set of clubs including a driver, putter, and bag. The entire experience with Mr. Robert Gomez was elite. He walked me around the store, listened to me, explained the products very well, and arranged for a slight discount due to my charitable status. This is a professional operation that Mr. Kevin Cavanaugh (GM) runs extremely well. Can’t wait to come back next year for my upgrade. Thank you Gentlemen for a wonderful shopping experience. Happy 4th and God bless.
I frequently go to the PGA Superstore to shop for my husband who loves the game of golf, the staff there is always very helpful and always helps with any questions I have and two thumbs up for the store manager Kevin if whom I got to meet on more than one occasion. Very neat and well run store
My three year old is fascinated with golf and was so excited about this store! It is large and interactive, but we could have used a bit more help making a suitable purchase for him. Several staff members greeted us, but did not offer shopping advice; I dont know much about golf, but hopefully made a good purchase.
Awesome facility. Nice group of guys and very professional. Will definitely recommend this wonderful establishment to friends and family.
Very large selection of clubs and apparel. Exactly what you would expect from a place called the PGA Superstore. Prices on Par with other retailers.
Love walking around. Just bought a few golf balls and tee that i use.
They must have everything that you need in Golf ⛳️⛳️ That is why it’s called SUPERSTORE !!
Pat the manager was excellent. Took extra time to make sure we got what we were looking for
I went to this store today (06/20/20) for a putter and was blown off twice by staff. I waited and waited and no one else ever came to help, assist or even ask a question. Sufficient to say customer service sucks.
Patrick Reilly at the Paramus PGA Superstore is a Rockstar. He delivers customer service with energy, knowledge and a smile. He provides the type of service you want and expect but never seem to find. His vast knowledge of golf enabled him to help us get the perfect incredible new golf equipment, and he gave us a few pointers that helped our game as well! He is not just the manager, he jumps in and gets involved rather than pushing us off to his staff. My entire family recommends Patrick at the Paramus PGA Superstore! - The Schafers
On Saturday July 4 I was In store and I bought a set of clubs and was promised that I would have it the next week .I told them I needed them for a golf outing . He assured me it would not be a problem. after purchase and while still in store I get an email that it would take 10-14 business days Talk to General Manager Kevin Cavanaugh . He says he should be able to do something and I should call text him on Monday. Monday morning I text and a few minutes later I get a call from someone else saying now the order will not be in for at least 3 weeks. I ask for Kevin to call me . I then 3 hours later get a call from someone else who proceeds to tell me the same thing. I tell him I was waiting for a call from Kevin . Kevin Cavanaugh finally calls me back and brushed me off and said we can cancel etc. But was very cavalier about an apology and no reasoning why I got two calls from one person.I also wanted to take lessons there as well. I had asked the first salesman what do I need to do and he said go to back of the store and talk to them . I go back there to schedule and the pro their says you need to do it up front of the storeThis is classic example of the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. That is a sign of bad management from the top. Two phone calls from different guys three hours apart telling me the same thing and no one even knows what to tell a customer about the lessons. I will never step foot in this store again
Good and BadI had a positive experience with staff member, Sean. He was very helpful and polite. The employee that we first met, on the other hand, was rude, unfriendly and abrasive. I cannot recall the employees name, but I believe that it was Doug. To describe him, he looked similar to Richard Dreyfuss; with gray beard and thinning hair and glasses.I went to the store with my girlfriend to get fitted for clubs. He asked if we needed something, called another employee via radio for service, then wrote our names down. My girlfriend asked to the restroom and he pointed in the direction and said Down there. We were then greeted by Sean, who introduced himself, shook hands, and asked how he could help us. Sean told us to grab a club and start warming up in the simulator area, then he went to grab clubs elsewhere.I grabbed the nearest driver (which was in no specific section, nor was it labeled) and got into a swinging stance. As I lined up with the tee to do a practice swing, I heard Dont do that. I looked up and saw Doug behind me with another customer. I said, Dont do what? Doug said, Dont use that. Thats a kids club. Get another one. I said, Sorry about that. I wasnt aware. As he walked away with the customer, he said to him, He was trying to swing a kids club. I dont need him breaking off the head.Firstly, the clubs were not organized, so I was not aware that it was a child sized club. Secondly, the club wasnt much shorter than an adult sized club. Thirdly, I didnt appreciate his lack of customer service and communication skills. A simple▪︎Sir, can I help you? ▪︎Let me get you the proper club, or any variation of that would have been appropriate. I also didnt appreciate him embarrassing me in his rude and condescending comments towards me in the presence of another customer. To be direct, I think that the supervisors should brush up his training. A little courtesy goes a long way.He acted like an unprofessional jerk, so if you visit the store, try to avoid this guy.
I had an excellent experience with Sean during my iron fitting. He took the time to get to know my swing and my tendencies. He then selected several clubs that he felt appropriate for me and we worked through them all. Sean was extremely thorough. He explained how each club and each change was made to better fit my swing. By the end of my fitting session I was hitting the ball 25 yards further and straighter. I couldnt be happier with the customer service I received.
I have been buying clubs there for there the last 4 years and have been totally satisfied especially with the manger Kevin he always helps me out when I have a problem with a return and under the 90 day rule. Right now I have a issue I am hoping he will be able to correct my problem. I purchased a driver that did not work for me so I immediately returned it and Kevin took it it back immediately. The problem I have now is I purchased a more expensive driver and was fitted by a young guy who totally screwed up my fitting when I received my new driver from Titleist it had a stiff shaft and a 9.5 head on it. I told the fitter I am 65 years old and have some disabilities. I always play with a regular shaft or senior shaft and a 10.5 head. I can not hit this club at all and I tried and was seen at a driving rage by a PGA instructor and laughed at this fitting.. Unfortunately now the stores are closed and can not fix my problem or even play golf if they open up soon because I need to purchase a better and correct driver. I just purchased this driver March 14,2020 and I travel from upstate NY all the time. So the bottom line is I am very satisfied with the PGA store and Kevin in Paramus NJ. Except this young fitter really screwed me up.
Ive had nothing but excellent customer service when visiting the PGA Superstore in Paramus. I visit there quite often from NY. I recently had a fitting for the Titleist T300 irons, and tried out different drivers, 3W and shafts. Mark Rogers was my club fitter and he took his time over a course of 2 days. He was really patient with me and was very thorough. One day was dedicated to irons, driver, and 3W, and the second day was dedicated solely to the driver and 3W. I ended up purchasing the 6I through AW, and should have them in 2 weeks. I will be back in the near future to revisit the driver and 3W. I want to let the PGA Superstore know that Mark did an awesome job with me and I appreciate it!
Visited this store to purchase a Maverick driver and the clerk at the simulator was very rude . I had the club in my hands and he completely ignored me after standing there for about 5 mins. I went to their competitor where I was professionally treated. I bought the driver there. Will not go back to a PGA store.
I can honestly say, I have NEVER had a bad experience here. This store has become a staple in my life with my husband. And I actually mean that in a good way! Even when I was just learning to play golf 5 years ago, I still enjoyed taking a ride here. (20 minutes for us) When we go to this store, it turns into a mini outing for us. All jokes aside, everything golf for my husband, I have purchased here. And he in turn for me! From memberships, to trade-ins, fittings, new clubs, new grips, clothing, shoes, lessons, (shameless plug to RON!!) the employees are extremely nice and helpful, but Never in an overbearing way. Nothing worse than being stalked around a store. The place is great!
