Buyers and Traders Beware! Love the truck I bought however the dealership is exploiting the pandemic and lack of available inventory. You will pay super premium prices including the air in the tires! There are no deals to be made here! Shop around you can get much better deals some where else.

If you ever need to go to the garage to have your vehicle worked on, please avoid Ripley and Fletcher (old Tinnys) in Farmington.3 weeks ago I went in to have my breaks done, told them to do whatever to make them new again. Pads, rotors, calipers, whatever. They did the pads and rotors, told me the calipers were fine. That was $700. 🤢I was in this past Monday for an oil change and tire rotation that I had a gift certificate for.This morning on my way to Farmington with two of my children, I could smell my breaks getting hot. I pulled over and smoke was rolling. I called Ripley and Fletcher. Jason was amazing, he sent a couple guys out to get my Explorer and a give me a loaner car. They said the caliper seized, which I figured, but I asked why it wasn’t done 3 weeks ago while I was in there. They said they didn’t put new ones on because it was fine. I never knew a caliper went bad over night? But I’m just a female so whatever. In the end I ended up paying for another rotor, and a new caliper. $250. They didn’t charge for the labor. 🤣That place is a joke. Also, if the salesmen think no one is there, without checking the waiting room, they like to call each other homophobic slurs extremely loudly, very very professional. Especially in a highly populated LGBTQ community. ✌🏼We had been going there since we bought the car, almost 3 years ago. When it was Tinny’s we never had such awful experiences. Jason was our salesman when we bought our Explorer, and now he’s customer service for the service department. He is still as helpful as ever and I wish him nothing but the best and hope the owners know how lucky they are to still have him there.
Had a great experience at Ripley and Fletcher Ford. I wanted a very specific F250. Mike searched all over the North East to locate what I wanted. When we could not locate the truck I wanted we sat down and built the exact truck. Once the truck was built I met with Joe (the owner) and discussed the price. This was the first time at a dealership that I felt I got a fair price without having to negotiate to get what I thought was fair. A few weeks later my new F250 showed up, just I had built. The perfect truck for my needs at a great price. Ripley and Fletcher Ford is a great dealership and I will definitely be back next time I need a vehicle.

After seeing a bronco in stock on their website I called to test drive it, sales told me they would have me in it by lunch. Two days and 6 phone calls later I lost track of their excuses and never got a test drive.They never followed up with me either. I went to Rowe Ford in Westbrook and left the same day in my new Bronco! It was refreshing to not be lied to, to just to try and get my business.Very shady sales crew at Riley and Fletcher. I will never do business with them.

Had broken down truck towed there over the weekend, was not a customer prior. Called them on Monda, they told me they were booking out till Friday, I mentioned the sooner the better since I was to leave on vacation on Friday. Truck was ready on Wednesday! What more could I ask for? Price was reasonable compared to the dealer in the Saco area.

I took my car in for a warranty repair and Sam took care of me as if it was her own car and safety at risk. She got me a loaner car and my repair was done the next day. Everyone I dealt with there was professional and knowedgable. I would definitely go back.

Have your mechanic look over a vehicle before you purchase from here. Bad suspension hop, blown shock struts, emergency brake system did not have any brake pad material left on them, oil life span made it through the limited warranty, body mounts were no good, ac compressor wasn’t working when they sent it out onto the lot for sale. They were doing a bed liner when I was looking at it then added it to the sale price. 2013 F250. I’m not impressed with sale or service teams.After many unreturned phone calls I can see this company’s commitments to its clients ends when you turn off their lot.

This is the second car Ive bought from them. I went in to replace a truck, but wanted to compare the Ranger and Escape. I was allowed long test drives to be sure of the vehicles, and chose the Escape. They then got just the one I wanted, and have always been helpful.

The service department is great. Toby in the truck shop is excellent to work with. He does anything possible to get my truck on the road. The mechanics are very knowledgeable. They diagnose my 6.0 Diesel correctly every time and fix it right. It is like working with friends you can trust. You can walk in and talk with Joe, the owner, any time. He is very approachable. He doesnt hide in a back office somewhere. He is most often found at the front desk.It is a small town business that really cares about its customers. I wouldnt take my business anywhere else.

I went to Ripley and Fletcher on Wednesday window shopping. I had an internet listing from another dealer in my pocket. I was approached by Cam Robinson and I told him I was basically window shopping. I showed him the listing I had, told him what I wanted for options, what I owed on my trade in and what I expected. I wanted to keep my payments the same or lower than I was currently paying. I did not have my trade in with me since I was just window shopping. Cam, along with Hank, went out of their way to find me a vehicle that met all my needs and wants. I even received a fair offer for my trade as is - sight unseen! It was in the ball park of what I was expecting. The dealership was closed Thursday (4th of July), so Friday they went to another dealership to get me my new F150. I stopped in this morning, dropped off my trade-in and picked up my new truck. My payments ended coming in $5.00 a month less until I added a few more options (like GAP Insurance which I also recommend). My final payments are $37.55 higher but that was because of my last minute changes. The team at Ripley and Fletcher lived up to their end of the agreement and was extremely helpful throughout the process. I highly recommend Ripley and Fletcher and Cam Robinson for your next vehicle!

I asked a few questions and was told they had on site what i was looking for and before i knew it i was test driving a new 2018 Ford Explorer. As the test drive ended i immediately loved the car but did not let them know i was interested. Hank asked if i wanted to take it for the day. I said sure. And that was history. I am now a proud owner of a brand new vehicle which i couldnt be more proud of. I admittedly can be a tough customer especially when it comes to car purchases.I typically have very strict guidelines about what i plan to purchase and i do my homework.I know what i need, what i want, how much it should cost and Im not afraid to travel 1000+ miles to get it. Sure id rather give my business to a Maine based company but when Im making a purchase that’s equivalent to 1/4 of my home value and only have 4-7 years to pay for it ill do what i have to.All that said, i went to Ripply at the suggestion of a close friend and honestly without high hopes as i had also contacted every other dealer in the state. Some of which by the way didnt even want to deal with my shopping practices.Through Hank Richards i was contacted by Mike Charrett very quickly.Mike walked me through what they had for inventory and what was available nearby as well as trucks as far as 10 hours away.He didnt try and push me into something i didnt want though he did show me higher models so i had an idea on upgraded features.In the end he found me something with the features i wanted, nothing i didnt, a color i loved and at a price that was very fair.The whole process was very painless.I tip my hat to all the folks at Ripply.
Service wing is amazing. Toby and the guys in the motor shop/ Greg and crew in the body shop are the best in the business. The sales crew and I are at odds but Im not going to say they are bad at their jobs, because they are extremely friendly and knowledgable for the most part. Just dont buy any LCF models!

Oldest Dealership In Maine Should Be Extinct! We waited for a salesman to finally see us...The same salesman introduced himself to us three different times while we waited to test drive a car. In the main lobby of the dealership, we sat on a wooden bench for 35 minutes and listened to every detail of the conversations taking place between customers and sales people. The acoustics are amplified in the cubicle offices and the doors were left open. We listened to customers detailed financial issues while they attempted to negotiate price with the dealership.We let the owner know we were displeased and he gave us a big speech about the importance of customer service...Get your act together!

Most impressive repair shop. They took our RV within 24 hr despite it being at a time when all other mechanics within 60 miles were swamped with repairs and couldnt take us for at least a week or two. Our RV had died on us 3 times in the past 4 months (twice on this trip) and when it died the 4th time, these guys finally fixed the real problem, which was not expensive. I wish wed taken it to this mechanic the first time, because the 3 mechanics before charged us a mint and it didnt fix the real problem. They have bays big enough for RVs and they have lots of mechanics, so they can do more repairs per day. I think our mechanics name was John. I told him that if we got back to Maryland without another breakdown, I would write him a good review. We made it!

My wife set up an appointment for 1:00 pm on 3/30/13 to test drive and possibly buy a car that we knew we wanted. We live 1 1/2 hrs away; we arrived at the dealership at 12:45 pm look at the vehicle before entering the showroom. When we walk in the show room no one acknowledge we were there so my wife spoke to a salesperson saying we were here to test drive a vehicle and we have a 1:00 appointment. The salesperson said he was busy but just go in the waiting room until he was done. My wife and I waited for an 1/2 hr before my wife went out to see what was going on; they told her that someone ( this person arrived after us) was now test driving the car we we looking at and we would have to wait. We were both sitting in the lobby when the person returned from their test ride and said they were taking the car. My wife and I were in total shock especially driving that far and having this happen; it made for a aweful Easter.Hopefully this will help them to improve their customer service; totally disgusted.

I went there to purchase a vehicle and ended up test driving one for almost 6 WEEKS before someone got back in touch with me, even though I tried to reach out for an update. When they did get back in touch with me they had no information to provide to me on the actual vehicle I was test driving. Terrible customer service. In the end I purchased from MacDonald Motors, Bridgton and have never been happier!
