Do not buy a vehicle here. My husband is a combat gulf war veteran. He purchased a 2017 Ford F-250 from Dan Cummins dealership and within a month there was major electrical problems and they first didn’t want to do anything to help us till I posted a review. Then they attempted to fix it but didn’t. My husband ended up spending $1800 to fix the issue. The truck died on the highway and we had no power steering or brakes. We could of died and the dealership didn’t care, we had our 2 children with us too. Now less than 6 months the transmission is going out and they say oh you bought it as is and there isn’t anything they did wrong. So again I say don’t buy a vehicle here ever. I just recently purchased a 20 Chevy Tahoe from Scott Goodpaster. When I get there he greeted me and ask what are you looking at getting. I told him he was able to get me the Tahoe I wanted for the price I wanted. He was very knowledgeable about what he was doing. I would strongly recommend going down and seeing him. He will do everything he can to get you what you want. Plus he will get you in and out as fast as he can.

Saw the ads for used cars, they seemed reasonably priced with affordable payment plans, so my son and I thought we would see what we could get for the money, our intention was to get him and his wife each a car, maybe myself one for work, since gas prices are outrageous, it didnt turn out like we had hoped. Instead, it was better, still got 2 cars. They have one and I have 2, kept my trade in.

I personally find car buying to be a struggle spending such a big amount of money on something is tough. A few days after the purchase it seemed our salesman was too busy to tell us when our vehicle was going to be delivered. In my opinion that should not really be a salesmans responsibility but at Dan Cummins it is. But our salesman seemed like he was more interested in the next sale instead of our sale days prior. We also found our salesman to be less than interested to do things such as show us in the owners manual where it shows you how to program the built-in garage door opener, show us that all the tools were with the spare tire and the jack, etc. We also thought he was kinda dressed to go to the gym and not sell cars. My wife and I dressed up to make a fifty thousand dollar purchase, we drove 300 miles, we expected our salesman to show a minimal amount of care, to be courteous, and to be professional. In regards to those three qualities I think we got a 3 out of 10. 10 being the best. We honestly got the opinion that Dan Cummins and our salesman had the attitude that they were too big to fail. Our salesman repeatedly bragged about how big they are, how many people travel from other states to buy cars from Dan Cummins. They did not need to be courteous, welcoming, interested, this was a basic transaction them. If we didnt buy that car someone else would have.

It was a waste of my time and gas. I drove down there, which is a about a 2hr drive for me (Lis I had my 9m old daughter with me. Test drove the car, LOVED it so we went inside to work out a deal. They appraised my trade-in, $2,000, which is a fair value for my vehicles. They first misunderstood and thought I was financing through them, I explained and I was financing through my credit union. Then they said they needed my payoff and letter of credit, by that time my credit union was closed and I couldn’t get it. At this point I was very upset because I had my heart set on the car I test drove. None of this was explained to me before I drove two hours to test drive a car. They wouldn’t even budge off the price of the car either. But I will say my rep Jim was great and none of this was his fault. Probably won’t go down there again honestly unless they would work with me.

Bought a 2013 Nissan Rouge in Feb for 8000 and some. Transmission went out in July. Almost 6000 of work. Then AC and alternator had problems 1500 in repairs. This lot sells junk. Do not recommend

My husband and I put a deposit down on a vehicle to reserve it so we could look at it as we live over 4 hours away. My husband spoke with a couple of different people regarding the said vehicle we were interested in and one of the main questions he had was regarding rust, as the pictures of the vehicle on the website only showed body pictures from a far. He noticed rust on the fenders and when he asked about rust on the rest of the body or frame of the vehicle he was told that what he saw was all it had. After a 4 hour drive and a night in a hotel, the morning came to actually look at the truck and we couldnt be more disappointed. The vehicle rust on the frame and back half of the body was so bad that chunks of the frame metal and body were missing. My husband asked if the price on the vehicle was firm because the asking price was very steep for a 14 year old truck with this amount of damage. The check engine light was on when we arrived, vehicle had oil leaks on the top of the engine that we were not aware of until we arrived. We are aware that a used vehicle will not be perfect, but some sort of price reduction should be taken into consideration when all of these issues are present. Kelly blue book does not take into consideration body and frame rust and or damage, as well as some engine/ drive train issues. Our overall experience dealing with our saleslady was great. She was a very nice lady and was so apologetic about the vehicle. While we should be compensated for our deposit, our goal in giving this review is to inform Dan Cummins that customers should not be led astray or be given misinformation when trying to purchase a vehicle. We took the time and money out of our day to make a trip on a vehicle that was thought to be a great deal, but ended up being a misrepresentation of the actual condition.

Great doing business with by far the best dealership I have ever bought a vehicle from. Fair trade in on my truck and price on my newer one. Adam was great to work with and did not pressure me. He listened to what I was wanting and gave me several trucks to look at. I have never heard anyone say that Dan Cummins Chevrolet was hard to deal with and today they did not disappoint. My appointment was at 930, and was told 3 hours. I said fine.... I will wait, well at 1 pm i ask for an update and find out the guy working on my car walked out and quit... no one knew. So was at the dealership for almost 7 hours to get the oil changed and light replaced. Recently went to a used car dealership in Nicholassville to buy a large SUV. After a week of having the SUV I returned it because of a bad unprofessional experience. I had a great overall experience purchasing a used truck from Randy at Dan Cummins. The sale and paperwork were easy and comfortable. The price was fair without any need to haggle. The only complaint I have was that the truck I purchased had recently been traded in and had not been detailed when I bought it. So it was going to be detailed completely before I picked it up the following day. When I came in to pick it up it had been detailed pretty poorly. I know they are busy, so Im sure there were plenty of other vehicles that needed to be cleaned, but it was somewhat disappointing to have to detail a truck I just bought.

I purchased a vehicle from Dan Cummins 18 months ago for $10000. Then when I went to trade it in they offered me $500 and it only has 67000 miles on it. My salesman kept leaving us and was gone forever. I wouldnt recommend Dan Cummins to anyone. There are better places to buy a vehicle from. Then they only reply with sorry to hear that. They dont do anything to rectify the issues. They told me it needs a transmission even after I let them know the transmission control module was going out and its under recall for it. They thought I was stupid.

Purchased the Liquid Diamond Ceramic Coat, Waited 2 Months for my appointment and drove an hour and a half to drop the truck off to find out they did not have a rental vehicle for me. Very happy with my new car I just bought from Dan Cummins! Andrea was very helpful and found me a good deal on a 2016 Nissan Versa. Its PERFECT, aside from being a manual so Ive got to learn how to drive it. But Ive already managed to get it moving and from 1st into 2nd gear and back, so Im making progress. I got a very low interest rate on my financing, the terms are pretty good and its basically a new car. 1 previous owner, 62k miles, still has warranty left on it. Im very, very pleased. But our sales person, Reed Wilson, wouldnt give up. He would text and call us every day. When it looked like another let down, he kick in. We didnt get the vehicle we looked at, but we got something even better. He took his time and did everything he could. I highly recommend Dan Cummins and their very helpful sales people. We will never go anywhere else. P.s. this is the second vehicle we purchased from them.

My experience at Dan Cummins Chevrolet of Paris was of well intended yet poor customer service.-The parking areas for customers, service, etc are all poorly marked.-We made an appointment to see a car two days in advance, and when we arrived we waited for 20 minutes before we saw the car—only to find it was FILTHY DIRTY on the inside, meaning a sticky steering wheel, a rear area full of crumbs and old food debris, and a sunglasses holder full of used cloth face masks. Gross.-I asked for the car to be cleaned and waited 60 minutes for it to be cleaned to a bare minimum.-The showroom cats were dusty and the surfaces of most tables were sticky.-The salesman was competent and friendly, as were all of the finance/sales staff. However, overall, the cleanliness and customer courtesy of Dan CUmmins Chevrolet Paris receives a “D” in my consumer’s grade book.*UPDATE* within ten minutes of leaving this review, one of the Sales Managers named Walter called me to get further info on my experience. He committed to improving their processes and renewing their focus on customer service. I truly appreciated the phone call.

My salesmen was awesome. His name is Anthony Foams. He went above and beyong. It was 90 degrees outside and he ran all over the property bringing trucks for us to see. He never complained or got aggravated. He had a cheery disposition and treated us like family. If we had handpicked a salesman we could not have done any better.

I am very happy with my whole experience at Dan Cummins. Morgan was my Sales representative who from start to finish was able to accommodate my needs. The whole process took about 2 hours. There were refreshments, a room my kids could play in (Honestly that was the best part. I couldnt find a babysitter and 3 young kids in a dealership is not fun.
