I brought in my newer laptop and was nervous I would be taken advantage of because of my lack of computer hardware knowledge. Dana was very helpful and honest and told me he would try to get my computer back to me the next day. He actually got it done 4 hours later!! I will definitely be back!

The service at DAKtronix is top notch. My computer died abruptly on Sunday and I have several big projects due this week. I was panicking about recovering important programs, workspaces, and documents in addition to actually being able to work. I walked into DAKtronix right at 9am on Monday and Echo (I believe this is the correct spelling!) was very helpful right off the bat. She walked me through her process and said she would give me a call once she had diagnosed the issue. She called me before 1pm with the issue and my options from here. It made the most sense to buy a new system. I went in and she talked me through all of the components I would need on my new system based on what my old system looked like and what I planned to do with it. Came back in 2 hours later with a new computer, based on her recommendations, and she transferred all my data onto the new computer. Took me about 30 minutes after I got back home to recover everything back to how it was and get back up an running by 6pm Monday night. Fast, efficient, friendly and all at a better price than Best Buy was offering for less personalized solutions. If youre having computer problems, DAKtronix should be your first stop!

Went in there a little while ago. The employee there (I forget her name) was super nice, super professional. Explained what the problem was, how it most likely happened, and what she did to fix it. Definitely recommend!

I went to DAKtronix because I wanted to have a gaming computer built for me without being sold stuff I dont need. Dana was very helpful and patient in helping me build my dream computer. I recommend this store to everyone. They are very experienced and professional. By far the best computer store I have ever been to.

I used DAKTronix a few times for onsite IT work for my business. It took longer than expected, but generally got things resolved on prior calls.Most recently I had Dana to my office to help with a networking issue through our database on December 9, 2020. He basically called tech support of the software we use, sat on the phone with them for 1.5 hours and didnt resolve the issue. He did a Windows update on a computer in our office and removed Norton from a machine while on hold. Then he invoiced me for 4.5 hours or $427.50 ($95 per hour) without fixing anything. The support group for our software called me back the next morning, remoted in and fixed in 5-minuites. All that was needed was a port to be opened and then restart the computer. They said very basic networking stuff.When Dana was here he said he felt bad to bill me for not fixing anything. Two and a half months went by and nothing from them so I assumed he was not going to invoice me as he said. Then a week ago (2.5 months later) I got an invoice for $427.50 with a $50 discount on labor included and a hand written note, Thank you! This has been stuck in our email server. Interestingly, they mailed the invoice by print and regular mail, yet on response to my review somehow place blame on QuickBooks. Seemingly, QuickBooks has halted business invoicing for months as opposed to DAKtronix not being able to navigate their own email issues for over 2-months on a printed and mailed invoice?!For me, I paid the invoice and Ill never call on them again. Just a waste of time and money for them not to fix issues, then months later bill for failing to resolve issues within their specialty. It would be like taking your car to a mechanic to fix a problem, them billing you months later for 4.5 hours and tell you they changed the air freshener hanging from the mirror.Honestly, I would think a business owner who had a 2.5 month delay in billing would call their customer as opposed to just drop an invoice in the mail, especially after they said they felt bad for billing without fixing the problem.Then in the end to place blame on others, not accept their shortcomings at a minimum for the billing issue and show their true colors publicly is the reason Ill never call on them again. This will also allow me to not listen to Danas rants on the negatives of Parker, Colorado including the towns denial of his interest in installing a casino like sign at his business or his clear discord for our towns elected government.

If you live or work within 50 miles of Parker Colorado, DAKtronics should be the ONLY place you bring your computer equipment in need of attention. Ive been a customer of theirs for over 10 years, have been forced by former jobs to go elsewhere and I would never, ever bring something I own anywhere else. They simple are the best of the best for anything computer related.Dana just built a new PC for me for much less than I could get anywhere else - and its clean. No junk loaded from the factory. 18 seconds for full start, a beautiful machine that fit my needs exactly, not something I pulled off a shelf at a store that I made fit my needs, which I then had to fight with due to all the added junk software. Hes built laptops for my wife and I as well. This is a full service computer business no matter how big or small your need is.The other half of the brilliance of this business is Echo. There isnt any problem, challenge, update, cleaning, question, software issue she cant address with incredible creativity. I know I have brought her quite a few - why is this happening - situations and she has always found a way. Sometimes it takes a little time but she is relentless in her pursuit of a solution! Echo should be your first call, always!Friends dont let friends use sub-standard companies for something so critically important! Do yourself a favor and give them a try. Youll never go anywhere else, I assure you!

What an amazing staff! I reached out to Dana via email and explained my problem. I was fully expecting to have to bring in my computer and pay to have it fixed. Instead, they were able to ask me a few questions, create a cd with what I needed, then just gave me the cd at no charge. That is outstanding service!

Dana and Echo built me a new desktop. Its amazing. They transferred all my programs and data to the new one and its exactly like the old one, but 1000 times faster and with 100x more memory and RAM.

Great Service and friendly common sense advice- We want to shop Parker and DAKtronix fits the bill. They are not working to sell stuff we dont need and provide service and support that is excellent. Honest, Fast, Affordable, Quality Service - I dropped my external hard drive and after a couple of weeks it stopped working. I got a ridiculously high quote from a data recovery center in Denver so I took it to DAKtronix for a second opinion. They were able to tell me that it wasnt what the first company had suggested and proved it by recovering my data! (for much less as well) I was so impressed with the honestly that I also dropped my laptop off for a checkup. Now everything is running smoothly. I am super happy with the service and pricing!

My laptop crashed just before Christmas. I took it here for a diagnosis and was given the bad news that it was the motherboard. I did get a 2nd opinion, but they were right. I bought a very cheap laptop at box store in town and took it here to get an opinion, because I just dont know that much about RAM and all that. Dana, the owner, explained to me about the memory and stuff in it and I came to the conclusion that it wasnt right for me. He spent 45 min helping me research a good computer in my price range and even printed the specs out for me. He didnt try to sell me anything from his store. His explanations were helpful and I appreciated his honesty. I bought the laptop he recommended at another store and I love it. I even called his shop from the store I was in to ask some questions and Echo, his employee, was happy to answer my questions. I brought the new laptop to him to transfer my data to it and he did a wonderful job getting all my various folders and documents, music, etc.. When I picked it up, they turned it on and let me check everything. That cost $65.00, which I thought was very reasonable. I am very pleased with this company and will go to them for all my computer repair/maintenance needs.

I have been going to Daktronics for all my home and business desktop computing needs for over twenty years. Dana and Echo are always extremely friendly and helpful. Dont take your devices anywhere else but DAKtronix Computers! Dana and Echo are the best and with that comes knowledge and professionalism. To make a long story short I had major problems with my All in One that I purchased about six months ago. Bad mother board and hard drive and with their help I was able to take that system back and get almost a full refund so that I could purchase a real laptop. He fixed our computer by replacing the hard drive but failed to download the needed software that lets the computers fans communicate with the internal thermometer so our fan was on full blast for the last week and i thought it might catch fire.Also told me my 2011 macbook wasnt worth fixing the keyboard. Took it to someone else who immediatly order a keyboard and fixed my machine for 200$.Sorry Dax, just wasnt satisfied. I called Rocky Mountain Mac Repair and he did a great job and informed me about the software that i needed to download.

I have been in business for myself (video production and marksmanship/defensive tactics) for over 10 years and I have been going to DAKtronix for the entire time for all my computer needs. Dana & Echo have always been a great help with anything that I have needed. I had Dana build a screaming machine for me several years back, the first video editing machine that he was asked to build, and that machine worked solid up until recently. I have approximately seven machines both laptops and desktops, all of which DAKtronix has been a part of at some point (i.e. purchasing, upgrading, or repairing) and they have always given great service at a reasonable price. I trust my machines to them, and will continue to trust them with all my computers.I do not trust Geek Squad or any other computer shop that hires 18 year olds that do not know what they are doing with computers and have not handled complex problems like I have had.
