For Christmas, I gave my border collie the present of an instinct test with Victoria. He passed, and LOVED the sheep (at first he kept trying to lick their faces until the sheep informed him that that was NOT the way it worked.) We have been doing herding training with her about once a week for the past several months and it has been a fantastic experience. Victoria is very patient and encouraging, even when we would hit a behavior snag (he ignored the down command for quite a while). She clearly loves what she does, and completely understands how the herding dog thinks. On top of the herding training, she has given me many useful tips on basic training. It is so much fun to see the dog completely invested in the experience and doing what he was bred to do. I highly recommend it!

Victoria is great with dogs and very patient with you and your pooch for classes.

My girlfriend and I adopted our border collie Zip a couple years ago, and while we were immediately in love with him we quickly found we were in over our heads with a herding breed. He was really tough to walk and strongly reactive to everything that moved, making it tough to get him the high amount of activity he needs. We brought Zip to Victoria at Wine Glass Ranch a few weeks ago for the week-long boot camp. We were introduced to her beautifully trained pack of border collies, and she took the time to explain some of the psychology of the breed. We felt very comfortable leaving Zip here for a week, and when we picked him up we were given a great synopsis of how to continue to build off of the training foundation Victoria had made for him. She has a holistic approach that redefines how your dog views you in the pack hierarchy. This approach was explained to us when we picked Zip up, and Victorias insight into our dog after spending a week with him was very helpful. Its now been a couple weeks, and he is progressing with his training much better than in the past. Were still working through some issues (as was expected) but finally feel as though were equipped to deal with them properly. Zip is now crate trained and doing a lot better with impulse control and loose leash walking. Victoria has been responsive to follow up questions which has been great. Wed highly recommend the boot camp to anyone with similar issues. Victoria has a love for the breed and is great at what she does!!

Victoria is a wonderful dog trainer. We came to her with a misbehaving dog who needed one-on-one attention. Victoria quickly put our dog through her 5-week training program and customized the sessions to our needs. She was also incredibly accessible, taking our calls and guiding us even after the program was compete.Victoria provided a solid base of training that we’ll continue to use throughout his entire life. Her program was well worth the cost and we’d highly recommend her to anyone who needs a private session for their dog.

Victoria is a dream! My dog failed miserably at her instinct test 😂 but we all had so much fun and gained so much knowledge and information from Victoria and Tara! It was nothing short of a successful afternoon! Seeing her work with all of her board and train dogs was a wonderful little treat too! Her personal dogs are spectacular and her property is gorgeous. We are so happy with the training results of our Aussie, Aspen. We left her at Wine Glass Ranch with Victoria, and a week later, Aspen was so much better! Much more calm on the leash, didnt fight it, understood Come, Sit, Wait, Okay - a different puppy. She thoroughly enjoyed her stay and learned so much from Victoria and being a part of Victorias pack of border collies. Both Donn and I would highly recommend Wine Glass Ranch for training. We will return for more advanced lessons!

Our pup spent a week on the ranch and returned a very well mannered and sweet guy. Would recommend wine glass ranch to everyone!! Victoria was amazing, informative and thoughtful to our little guy! 10 out of 10!
