My Dr. here is spot on. He has been our Dr. For years because he knows his skill.My issue, the reception area. They always argue with everything you need. The Dr. Is never consulted when you have questions for him, they feel competent they know the answers. For the last four visits they were supposed to fix my husbands chart and have not and then argue about it. The worst part is just like our Dr. We have had for years it would be nice if the staff knew customers by name through the door, however there is a high turnover rate on the staff.

I love this place! I called to make an appointment and got scheduled the next day at a time that fit my busy routine. I didn’t know what to expect as a new patient, but it was an incredible experience. Everyone is so friendly and helpful! Each person is greeted and taken care of by a team of professionals. The receptionists, technicians, and doctors are amazing! The receptionist helping me described each form as I filled them out with her. The opticans were professional and quick. Dr. Jackson made me feel right at home by treating me like family. She explained my exam in terms that I understood and gave me time to address concerns. Jason lead me through the contact buying process. He gave me options, explained my insurance, and showed me how to take advantage of price matching, multiple discounts, rebates, and promotions. He saved me so much money! He also helped me pick out glasses with lenses that fit my face, career style, and budget which cost less than what frames cost. Additionally, he assisted me with getting free sunglasses as part of a promotion. He was patient, knowledgeable, and professional. Plus he has great taste! Every one of the staff there greeted you when you walked by and asked if you needed help, but also let you browse without hovering over you. Jason was so helpful and took the time to compare my insurance benefits to give me the best deal, I will definitely go back to MyEyeDr.

I lost my insurance when I lost my job. At first the office was great at letting me make payments to get what I needed because its a little more specialty need. But now they wont even help me get records of my own personal information. Since being let go from work, I have started back to school. I am considered disabled due to a serious vision issue but was basically told today that because I have not been in for an exam within the past year (no ins) that they could not help me with my own personal information to be able to get help from the school disability program. I was told they “no longer have old information in their new system other than when to call clients for appt reminders”. So basically I have lost my vision entirely before, come into the office for help and they have no record of that?!

Jason was very helpful to me,he took his time, He tried his best at giving me a great deal,plus he explained my insurance to me, he was very professional.

Once again I had a GREAT experience at My Eye Dr Parkersburg from the Dr. Scott to Elizabeth. Absolutely loved Elizabeth she was so patient with me as I tried on about 50 frames. We found the PERFECT frames at an amazing price!!! Thank you so much.

TL;DR great during selecting your frames, however they are disorganized and lack communication among their employees leading to confusion and being told the wrong information. And unhelpful when these issues are highlighted.I liked them a lot during the process of selecting my glasses back in November but after my glasses broke in March days before the pandemic I found this organization to be unorganized and uncaring. I brought my glasses before they closed their physical store for 2 weeks and was told that they could order them I would just have to call. I called and the person on the phone told me that was simply not possible and basically told me that I would have to deal with it.Another member of my household needed glasses and went through them and during the appointment we discussed ordering my new frames which they said they would. Several weeks later we inquired and they claimed they had no recollection. The form was left in a room and forgotten about. Ridiculous. Then instead of ordering they tried to convince me to order the same frame in a different color they had in stock claiming my original was on back order.I had gone literal months at this point withoutglasses so I said to order them anyway. They came sooner than they did the 1st time back in November, so I just think they were being lazy. Then when they came in the person on the phone told me I could get them fitted when I went to pick them up, that was contradicted when I tried to do so even though we agreed on a time on the phone.Then when I tried to make an appointment to get my frames fitted they told me it would be at least a week. I was moving that weekend to start a new job. I called Walmart and they were able to get me in right away with no trouble.

I typically hate going to get my eyes examined, but I had such a good experience here with Dr. Scott Lauer. My exam was quick, they had a new machine that eliminates the need to be dilated, and they actually had trial contact lenses for me. Im very nearsighted so having trial lenses for me is typically a no go. Kim did an awesome job price matching my contact lenses to get me the best rate and for once I dont have to spend $300+ on a yearly rx of lenses. 10/10.

I have always had a really good experience at this eye doctor office. Dr Vicki Lauer is always knowledgeable and helpful. My optician Jason picked out the perfect glasses for me when I couldn’t find a pair I loved.

Ive been a patient of Dr Scott Lauer since my teen years. Ive always recurved the best care. Even with my Retinitis Pigmentosa.Today I ordered my first post op glasses and got excellent service and care from Jason while ordering. I wont go anywhere else for my vision care

This location has been terrible since MyEyeDr bought out the previous owners! Three appointments(in family) in last 2 months all of them were nearly an HOUR past scheduled time before being seen. They have no care or respect for their patients time.
