Have a beautiful selection of G&L guitars. I preferred to go in person instead of doing mail order which I believe is their primary method of sales. Were still very helpful in getting the guitars I wanted to try and setting up tones on a nice Supro amp. Were very helpful in using layaway to get the guitar I wanted. Knowledgeable staff, cooperative and patient. Good selection of pedals, parts and accessories. Were lucky to have them in our community.

I bought the the Ortega banjo from Specialty Traders even though it was a B grade instrument. That meant that it had some minor flaws. When I received the banjo I couldn’t find a single thing wrong with it. It looked and sounded pristine. I got an expensive musical instrument for a bargain. I love it. Sounds and plays great.

With all the giant super music store chains out there it made me feel good to buy a guitar from this family owned business. I bought a hard to find Supro TriTone from them online and even though they are 620 miles away I recvd the guitar at my door within three (3) days. I find these retailers to be very honest, professional, and friendly and I would highly recommend them without hesitation. Nice people to deal with.

Very dishonest. They sell used as new. The owner sold me 2 different basses, both had defects. Even though he knew they had defects, he charged me return shipping on both. This is the kind of mom and pop store that makes people buy from the larger stores. You dont get hassled by the larger stores and you dont get scammed by them. If you choose to buy from them I would use caution.Sidenote - After I posted my review the owner emailed me the following.....Guess I was right about you. Lol. Your review says way more about you than it ever will about us. Everyone knows only the worst people leave one star reviews on Google.....the owner was a nice guy until he got my money.

Specialty traders gets a thumbs up in my book. I ordered a vht redline 40 and when received my order the amp was missing the power cord. I emailed specialty traders and told them the cord was missing. They emailed me back and said they would mail one out to me asap. I got the cord in 2 days plugged my amp in and its sounds awesome.
