Chris from Tamer Construction did an amazing job cutting out and installing an entry door between my home and my garage. He was professional, personable, and did an amazing job completing the work quickly and with minimal disruption. Highly recommend!

I would love to offer an honest review about their remodeling work. However after multiple messages, both over the phone (to their employees!) and via their website, I have never once received a call back. I dont understand? If youre too busy for new work, then say that. But dont tell me someone will call back and still 2 weeks later I havent received so much as a missed call.

Since 1999 Tamer Construction has done several projects on my home. Adding a front porch, remodel bathroom, did work in my kitchen, installed vinyl hardwood floors in my living room and hallway, and dining room. Installed crown molding in several room in the house. Installed a drop ceiling in the recreation room and the pantry in the basement. Have also repainted several room in the house. They installed hand railings going to the basement on both sides. They are very trustworthy and reliable and honest. They do excellent work and are very skilled at their trade. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Tamer and his associates are amazing! Very professional and easy to work with. He and his crew gave me a fabulous new kitchen. Ask for Chris as his work is meticulous and detailed. They take pride in their work and craftsmanship. Everything was perfect right down to the transitions to my living room and dining room. I couldnt be happier with my new space. Everyone told me that I couldnt have an island with how small my kitchen was and they were able to make it happen! I cant even remember how my old peninsula kitchen used to be. I love it.

First time using Tamer for guest bath remodel. Kyle and Tom are great to work with. They listened to our ideas and worked with us to accomplish the look we wanted. Kyle’s attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond provided excellent results with minimal disruption. When we called Tamer for an estimate for a Master Bathroom remodel, we already had one estimate (which was quite high). Tom Laufik from Tamer, spent a lot of time measuring and discussing what our needs were. He really looked over all the details, and the estimate from Tamer was much more reasonable. Tom was very helpful and meticulous. He helped us every step of the way. Chris, and Kyle were very professional as well. Our remodel turned out beautifully. Our only regret is that we didnt do it sooner. We would definitely call Tamer for our next job.

John and his crew did an excellent job on my kitchen remodel. My house is almost 70 years old and the kitchen is a very small space. Prior to the remodel, I had almost no counter or cabinet space. After the remodel, I have both! John was easy to communicate with and his crew was very kind and neat. I will definitely be contacting them again next time I need some work done in my house.

Tamer Construction has now done several renovation projects at our home, and we have been so happy with their work. Including pictures of our master bedroom renovation, which is a showpiece. Extremely high quality of work. We had a lot of wild ideas about what we might like in our master bath but werent sure how to put them into reality. Our project manager Tom was totally willing to think outside the box and try new things, and the end result is beautiful. We especially appreciated our main hands-on guy Kyle, who is friendly, respectful, clean, and thorough. When issues came up during construction that caused some damage to our family room ceiling, both Tom and Kyle immediately investigated and took it upon themselves to fix all issues and make repairs to everything, we were extremely satisified with their resolution of any issues that came up. Kyle also took on a side project and built at home a custom dart-board wall for our basement. Tom is very responsive as manager and helped us through every step of the way. We look forward to working with them again on our next project and have recommended them to friends.

Great experience and great workers/staff

We had John Tamer out on Sept 5 for a kitchen and bath remodel estimate. He was here for only approximately 10 minutes. We were told an estimate would be sent in about a week. We have received nothing. We have since called twice and have not even received a call back. No estimate and no calls. Very disappointed. Don’t waste your time.

Just talking to the secretary, this company will not COMPLY to the customers request. This us my house. I have to live with my own designs not yours. I have to live with the stone selections I make ..You dont have to live hear. Not a very flexible company whatsoever .

Our kitchen and dining room full redesign and remodel (with a wall removed) was completed within the time contracted and it EXCEEDED our expectations in quality. Demo was completed within two days and debris was immediately removed. The lead carpenter/craftsman conducted work EVERY scheduled day, protected the rest of the house from dust, and cleaned up daily. His attention to detail and our needs for a quality product exceeded our expectations. For work that needed to be trouble-shooted and resolved, he proposed remedies and was extremely helpful and flexible in achieving the best fix. If we have future home projects we will not hesitate to contract with Tamer Construction again for what we know will be a quality outcome we can be proud of for years to come.

Had two bathrooms completely remodeled late last summer and I am so pleased with them that I keep emailing John Tamer with my thanks, even now seven months later! The company was easy to work with and the crew professional and knowledgeable, as detail-oriented as I am, maybe even more. Crew chief Chris and tile man Tony are the best.

We are very unhappy with this company. John, the president of the company, came to our home and measured of kitchen for new cabinets, lighting, and floor. He told us he would have a design and estimate in about a week. We called when we did not hear from him in two weeks and also sent an email. It took him two days to respond and he said he was sorry that he didnt get back to us as he has been really busy with proposals, and he would have something ready by the end of the week for first part of next week. That was a week and a half ago. Are you willing to trust your project to this kind of delay? We are not!
