Where do I begin? Their shave ice is so soft and fluffy. The flavors are incredible and the portions are inexpensive and HUGE! I got wedding cake and watermelon. My husband got two giant scoops of ice cream (pralines and cream and raspberry cheesecake). My sisters got the ones in the pictures. I cant believe I waited this long to try Hokulia. Im definitely coming back soon!

First time to the new Hawaiian Ice Place. They have Ice, Ice Cream, Flavored Popcorn, flavored Nuts and smoothies.Over all pretty good. The ice cream had some unique flavors like honey dew and huckleberry. Although the ice cream was a bit soft also.The ice was good but pretty pedestrian versus the other Ice place locally. Their sour flavor is a spray on. Not very sour and sporadic.Two service staff members. Female was great and friendly. Male was a bit gruff and seemed flustered by long line of people waiting.If you are around it is worth trying. We may give it a second try.

First time checking this place out. First and foremost, I was greeted immediately upon entering the establishment and the customer service was very quick, friendly, and helpful. I tried the caramel cookie dough ice cream with whip cream and chocolate syrup. Im glad I only got the one scoop size though because their portion sizes are very generous! I enjoyed the ice cream very much. My girlfriend got the medium size of the shaved ice. Once again, the portion size was worth MORE than what the reasonable prices were. She chose two flavors of Passion Fruit and Guava. She enjoyed both flavors. Her only issue was that there was A LOT more Passion Fruit flavoring than the Guava so it was a little overpowering instead of being more balanced. Overall though, we enjoyed our experience and we will be back for more!

Wonderful place! Has some of the best sno cones Ive ever had and the gourmet popcorn is yummy! They should put out some coupons or something but still totally worth it

Such a cool place. Authentic shave ice at a reasonable price. 2.95 for the kids size which is big enough for anyone in my opinion! They have ice cream and smoothies too, but I didnt try them. Staff was friendly, kind and knowledgeable. They even replaced our dropped shave ice at no additional cost! You can sample any flavor for free and each shaved ice can have up to three flavors, you can choose your own or they have suggestions. They also have a rewards program.

Amazing! I come here with my family and its a all time favorite! Not to pricy either, and so many flavors!! Even free sour spray that can be added upon request. They dont JUST have snow cones either, they have popcorn,bubble tea, ice cream,smoothies, etc!! I love it here. Just make sure you eat the popcorn within a couple days cause it gets stale pretty quick.

Awesome Ive cream and shaved ice! I thought it was so unique to offer shaved ice. My son accidentally dropped his at checkout and they immediately made him another no extra charge. For a mom of 4 kids the customer service was amazing and really made this visit wonderful. They also had quite a bit of seating outside and decor was pretty. We will be back.

The guy Paul the one who served me gave me a free sample of shaved ice it was good. They use a REAL block of ice and shave it down for shaved ice, (not like some fake way of doing it.) I got the Hawaiian Sunrise smoothie he poured too much in my cup but gave me the extra for FREE They have ice cream also and you can put it in your smoothie.

I love the shaved ice its like eating snow! There are tons of flavor options, Ive been there 3 times and tried something new every time and I havent had a flavor I didnt like yet. My favorite so far is the P.O.G. The staff is awesome as well, always very helpful and friendly!

Made a little bit of a drive for a shaved ice craving and it paid off. Friendly staff members and lots to choose from. Everything is priced and sized generously and there’s a little bit of everything, depending on what you’re in the mood for. Only complaint is I wish I had a location closer to me 😁 but I’ll make the drive in the meantime!

When I went there it was my first time and the employee there was very helpful and help me make a great decision and it was delicious! I highly recommend!!

It’s an amazing place with 50 different flavors of Shaved Ice. The ice cream is all natural and just amazing with 30 different flavors. The smoothies are smooth and rich with great flavors. If you want recommendations for ice cream I recommend brownies on the moon and vanilla bean ice cream. My favorite shaved ice blue Hawaii with red velvet. My favorite type of smoothie is cookies and cream and Hawaiian sunrise. The staff is excellent the very nice and they’re very quick with their orders. So I recommend this place to everybody.

I rarely travel so far, just to satisfy a temptation but wow, this was worth the mileage! Josh had me wanting to buy up every flavor in the house! This would be great for parties! You must check out the menu! Nothing disappoints!

Decided to come here on a hot and stormy Tuesday afternoon. First time and it was awesome, will definitely be back. Staff was friendly and patient while we decided what to get, so many choices!! My shave ice was so tasty and pretty, the smoothie my mom got was amazing and my son really loved the mango sorbet.

This place has wonderful flavors of ice cream that are so different and unique compared to other ice cream shops. The portions of shaved ice is huge and for a great price and they have a wide variety of flavors. The reason I gave it four instead of five stars is because the service is just alright and many people are just standing around talking while your waiting in line. In addition, I have been to this place several times and I find some of the employees do not have the best attitudes.

Not only is every flavor of ice cream and shaved ice delicious, holy cow is the gourmet popcorn in the winter amazing, too! The employees are so nice and everything is reasonably priced. It is one of my family’s favorite spots to go for a special treat!

Theres going to be something for everybody there. They have quite a wide selection of ice cream, sherbert, shaved ice, smoothies all in one location. Theyre very generous with their samples. It was a nice experience. Ill certainly go back.

I asked some questions about the smoothies and the girl who took my order was super helpful. The smoothie tasted great. However, it was overflowing from the cup and the lid wasn’t on all of the way. This left a mess/ my hands super sticky. Not great. When asked if I was a reward member, I said no. I signed up, and then I asked what it entailed. The boy ringing me up just pointed at the (not very detailed) sign on the wall. I’m still not sure what I signed up for. I don’t think he meant to be rude, but he could probably use a bit more training. Everyone working was quite young, it did not seem like any owners or managers were supervising. Overall, I recommend going for a cool treat!

We happened across Hokulia as we were driving down Sprague Rd heading to Home Depot. We noticed a new sign and finally decided to give it a shot. Let me tell you that this place is a refreshing change to the area for the ice cream scene. The manager or owner couldn’t be more helpful and let us sample as many flavors as we wanted. The shaved ice was also a fantastic tasting produce with numerous flavors. My wife and I decided on waffle cones with ice cream. She had the cherry chocolate chip and I had the peanut butter. Both were outstanding and real ice cream! For a single scoop, it was a lot of ice cream. Hokulia has gained lifetime customers!

This place has good ice cream and shaved ice. The reason for the 1 star rating is that the staff need to learn proper hygiene practices. They walk around with the same gloves on, then touch the ice. Watched a male employee pick up something dropped on the floor with his gloves on, female employee pull her loose pants up didn’t change them. Wiping counters off with dirty rag, yup same gloves. Gloves should be changed after each customer!

It is a rarity anymore to experience something so new and unique with food. Most new restaurants are just different takes on old food. This is not true of Hokulia. I have never tried anything that is so hard to explain yet so absolutely delicious. My family and I went into Hokulia last week to give it a try. My kids both got shave ices. Blue Raspberry and Tigers Blood. My oldest also got a scoop of ice cream in his tigers blood ice. I was hesitant about that because I was thinking sno-cone and ice cream. GET ICE CREAM IN YOUR SHAVE ICE!!!! The taste sensation is something altogether different. My wife enjoyed a brownies of the moon ice cream cone. The ice cream was good. It was very creamy and rich. I would have liked to try one of their Hawaiian flavors, but instead went for a smoothie. I was not disappointed. Since this is a Hawaiian joint and we were trying it out I went for one of the more Hawaiian sounding smoothies. The Ono Berry smoothie was lights out. It wasnt overly sweet, but definitely sweet enough. The smoothie consistency was perfect. And it was GIANT. In fact, the smoothie and the shave ices were almost too much to finish.I know that this is a long post, but I wanted to make sure that I hit on everything about Hokulia that really impressed me. I have never been moved to write a review for anywhere, but Hokulia has made this family customers for life. Looking forward to the summer and trying everything this place has to offer.I highly recommend Hokulia

If you like shaved ice and you havent been to this place then you are punishing yourself. They have many flavors to choose from and can make any combination from those as well. I was impressed with the flavor of mine. The worker had thrown away the first one they were making for me I assume it wasnt going to hold together well. Im not sure but I appreciated that they cared to remake it for whatever reason. They also let you sample flavors and the workers were on the ball helping you to make your mind up. It was a great experience.

I’ve been here many times since it opened and always had great service. However I was a little disappointed with my service on Tuesday night (9/4). My boyfriend and I came in around 9 pm to use our BOGO coupon we received from facebook. On the coupon it states that if you buy any size shave ice you get a smoothie for free. My boyfriend and I both wanted smoothies so I asked if I could use the coupon to buy one smoothie and get one free. I figured of course this would be okay because a smoothie is almost $6 and a shave ice is around $3, therefore we would be giving the business more money. We were told no, we couldn’t do that. Whatever, not a huge deal. Well then when we went to go pay we showed the coupon again and the girl that was ringing us out said our total was $6-something. Confused, I asked her why it was $6 since we had the coupon. She kind of rudely said “oh” and then fixed it. Once again, not a big deal. The thing that bothered me the most was the fact that the other employees, all young, were taking ice from the machine and throwing it at each other, and running around the back the ENTIRE time we were there. I’m sorry but that’s not professional or appropriate at all. My boyfriend and I didn’t even want to stay to eat our treats because of the way these employees acted. Again I’m really disappointed since every time I’ve been there before I’ve had a great experience /:
