This is a huge grocery store that offers almost everything you can think of. They sell wine and beer and seltzers but they do not sell hard liquor like vodka or whiskey.

First time in this Acme store. Store was clean and pretty well stocked. Very nice beer selection. Items in store are VERY pricey. Not a lot of help to be seen.

Its a nice grocery store that makes you feel that you matter. Its community based as local. Items are stocked well. Sale prices are good. Produce though could be a bit better at times. Its hit or miss.Overall, I enjoy shopping here. It is not busy as some other area stores.

Went there for bread and lunch meat. Like theyre bread. Went to deli for lunch meat. The roast beef in counter looked old and shaded. Asked counter person for a quarter pound of acmes beef. Was told Im not going to open it for a quarter lb it will go bad sorry not going to buy the old meat in counter. Mejers will get my business now, they also have good bread.

Wish there was one as close as it was to our old house but worth the drive

Great variety of selections. The store is clean and the employees are nice. The cost of items here are high though and they need more people on registers. Expect to wait awhile to be rung up

I had a terrible experience at Acme today which was surprising because they are normally very nice there. I went there for the sole purpose of buying some 2L bottles of Coke since they are on sale. The store had absolutely no 2L bottles of diet or regular Coke. I walked around the store several times to look and then I went to the Soft Drinks aie which had a ton of 6 pack bottles of diet coke with 3 price stickers on the shelf immediately below the products which said they were $0.99. I grabbed 10 packs of these and went to pay. They did bot ring up for that price and I told the cashier that the sticker said $0.99 and she just stood there and said the stickers must be wrong. Since she made no effort to help me, I walked to the aisle and took a picture of the shelf with the product and price sticker and showed her. She called over another young blonde lady who looked at the pictures and said I really dont care and walked away. I stood there shocked. This is the Customer Service person! The cashier asked me if I wanted her to suspend my order so I can go to Customer Service and I said that young lady just walked away after saying she doesnt care, so no, dont do that. I am on my lunch break from work and cannot waste any more time with this. I had to leave without my items. Upon leaving, I called the store immediately and asked to speak to a manager. The man who answered said he was a manager so I relayed my experience to him. He listened, and said he would look into it, but did not ask me my name or my phone number. He did not instill me confidence that he was going to do anything about it all.I am still shocked that the customer service representative was nasty without provocation. I will not be going to that store anymore.

You can usually get some nice weekly food discounts. Just check their weekly promotional ads. I go to the Parma location

I like to go to Acme in the early morning or evenings when its less crowded. Its a very nice place to shop. Since its not too busy at those times, I can pass wind without being embarrassed. One time, I think I ripped one down every isle. Sometimes eating bolony really makes you cut the cheese. Remember to always be safe and wear a mask, unless Im there then its useless, wear a gas mask.

It was a nice and clean environment to go and go shopping for home items.

I had a pick up order and didnt receive my receipt. Many things were missing and they gave me expired soggy carrots. The curbside workers on the phone were rude. Really disappointed as some of the things missing were things I really needed considering I was just discharged from the hospital and couldnt shop myself. Also, I allowed substitutions on everything but when you substitute a 2$ item for a 7$ item thats a big jump. Wont be returning!

Was able to get what I needed when I stopped in there, except bulk nuts. Was looking for bulk unsalted cashews and really thought they would have that. Other than that the store was clean and relatively uncrowded

This is an ok store. The staff is always very nice and very helpful. The prices are great and even being cheap the quality is still up there. The problem with this store is that it just so picked over. If you go in with a list you might be able to get everything you need or everything you need might be out of stock. Or you might be able to get some things while other things are not there. Its always a gamble going here. So the roll the dice, stop on in, and may the odds be ever in your favor.

Acme has wonderful prices hands down ! However, my last visit was horrible I had to leave early on my own because their freezer line broke . There was Freon gas leaking throughout the store . I over heard one of the managers talking on the phone and said that they are fine when clearly it is VERY dangerous to inhale Freon even with masks on ! I just wish they would of warned people because I was not feeling well at all that day!

Big grocery store. Has everything you need Nice people. Fresh food. Many Sales. They went above and beyond helping my 90 yr. old mother. I need more stars to express my sincere gratitude to the man working customer service. I cant say thank you enough Thank You Thank You Thank You ....

HORRIBLE service! I had to wait 25 minutes for my grocery order to be brought out to my car :( after calling 2 times to remind them I was still waiting. I dont recommend grocery pick up. I should have ordered from Day dr Giant Eagle because they always do a great job!

Great prices on most items.. usually substantially lower than other stores. The only down side is were not fans of the meat.

Everyone here is friendly and very helpful. Just got off the phone with Michelle in the deli and had an entertaining conversation about doing thanksgiving for two this year. She had a bunch of great ideas!

Good place to shop for groceries

On July 21, 2020 I visited this Acme store to do some grocery shopping. I witnessed an employee taking plastic bags of pasta, and putting them directly on the floor. She then put the bags of pasta back on the shelf. I brought this to the attention of the store manager. He told me that she was rotating the stock and thats how they do it. I find it absolutely outrageous that this is an acceptable practice at any grocery store. All grocery stores should have a policy of putting groceries in a cart when rotating stock. This would help prevent cross contamination from the floor, to the groceries, to the shelves, and to our homes.In this time of a global health pandemic, simple common sense should be practiced.Ive reported this to the Health Department.

OK first off I’m not a Karen but I have to say this store put me in depression very outdated I felt like I was in the 1980s sitcom The store was very dirty I’m gonna be completely honest however the staff was nice but I will not be shopping there because I don’t wanna go back in time I might be acting like a Karen I hope I’m not turning into a Karen God help me please

Only had one situation. I went to the deli and they really dont slice the deli meat for you. Its pre-sliced. I like mine a certain way and thickness. Maybe it was the wrong day I went there. I hope that was the case. I will try again

My first visit. Large store (I think it used to be a Finast). Some decent specials however some advertised items were out of stock. Layout of the store was a bit confusing & it seemed a bit messy in places. Id shop the ads & go back for deals.

I went to this store because I liked the prices on several items on the sales flyer I received in the mail. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I asked for help finding a few things. I will definitely go back and shop here again!!

Gotta live the Acme. Somehow it feels luke you enter a time warp to the grocery store in the 80s..dunno what it is...But they are not huge on variety. But in a pinch you will likely find most of what you need.

Best grocery store in the area, and even if you are out of the area it is worth the drive! Acme had some amazing sales and you can see them every Tuesday in their ads/coupons that come in the mail.The local competition is obviously Giant Eagle. Dont get me wrong GE its a great grocery store but they are very very expensive. Its almost like you are paying high prices because of the gas program they have. I feel unless gas is $8 a gallon its just not worth the high prices.Back to Acme, if you have a question there is always a knowledgeable employee around to help, if lines are long they will pull a cpl employees back to the register, and once again low low low LOW prices. Its not unusual to find 5-10 items that are buy one get one and even buy one get 2 free. I highly recommend Acme to everyone I know.Thank you,Joe P

Most of the produce I have purchased was good and fresh. I have not had any bad experiences with any meat, or produce at this store. That being said, its kinda a weird that if you bring your own bags, the cashier doesnt bag your purchases. This has happened to me every time I brought my own bag. Not sure what gives with this practice.

Best grocery store around. Great deals at the front of the store. Very good deals every where else. Since different brands than Giant Eagle, like Food Club. I dont buy that so I cant comment, but great cuts off meat at great prices. I buy whats on sale and only whats on sale, so I find this store awesome. If you have kids they can get to the counter and get a free acme buck every time and use it to buy candy or something else. I have two kids, so two bucks. Awesome customer service at the Acme in Parma.

INSANELY EXPENSIVE! A 12 pack of generic 2 ply toilet paper is 8.99 (its 3.99 at Giant Eagle. Cereal is $5/box ($3 at giant eagle). Clean store, but I left and went to Giant Eagle because I couldnt afford these ripoff prices.

Nice mid size store. We come out of our way to get some items that are canceled by Giant Eagle in our neighborhood.

Remember going shopping with your mom when you were a kid in the 70s? This store is that. Nothing fancy. Not a mega uber superstore. Its just a grocery store. I prefer it over the big bird chain. Prices are good. Some great managers deals. Its clean and the staff is pleasant.

Great store for the most part. Clean. Very courteous staff. Parking lot is a little rough and they seem to be out of the diet beverages I tend to enjoy every time I go there. Their sales, especially on meats, are pretty amazing!

Great store, low prices my favorite food is the game day fried chicken. Iv gone to this store for years and never one bad experience.
